They are totally unreliable. I originally reached out to them in February for a bumper repair (parked car, hit and run). The damage is relatively minor (total of $2100 in repairs), but they initially told me that they could not start the work until mid June. THAT was changed to a drop off on July 3rd. I dropped my car off on July 3rd and was told the repair would take a couple of weeks. I checked in with them early the week of July 17th for an update. They stated that the parts were in and I was queued up and should be ready be the end of the week (July 21st). I let them know I would be out of town that day, but could pick up on Tuesday, July 25th. They said the car would definitely be ready to pick up that morning. I got an "automated text" this morning stating the car would not be ready until August 2nd. I immediately called them to remind them of their guarantee of being ready tomorrow morning. They did ZERO to assist. I have made appointments for tomorrow that I have been putting off for weeks. Now I am going to be stuck with late cancellation fees, etc because they lied to me about when the car would be ready and let me know that it they could not keep their promise less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick up time. Avoid if possible. Their guarantees and timelines are worthless. read more

Not good a returning calls about repair status. Delayed multiple times due to lack of personnel showing up. 2 week repair took 6 weeks due to multiple issues with having labor on hand, or mi-ordering and reordering parts. Did not communicate effectively with insurance company, and called back 6 months later requesting payment, having never previously reached out. About a remaining balance after the car was picked up after repair. Do not recommend. read more

Honest, friendly, and GORGEOUS work!! We have a fleet of company cars and they get dinged up or hit a good bit and we pay out of pocket if it's our fault -- but we can always depend on FAIR PRICES and BEAUTIFUL BODY WORK! And the people here are SO nice! That is so important when choosing who to work with. I recently got my own personal car fixed there and if you can see the hood, the sky matches up perfectly in the reflection (someone ran up over the car in a parking lot and did not leave a note). They will also cheerfully coordinate a rental car for you and make the whole experience seamless and a wonderful one. Trying to park my car and it got scraped on the side from a concrete pillar . Ugh I hate those things . Accidents happen. Decided to take car to Gerber Collision & Glass based on previous glowing reviews when shop was under different management. Although the shop is under newer management everything is the same . . Everyone that works there is very professional. Customer service is great and they did a great job making my car look new again and reasonably priced. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. We came in to get our bumper and tail light fixed after a small accident at home. The level of service and professionalism from start to finish was exceptional. Carl was so honest and friendly as we did the look initial look around of the car and we felt like we were in really good hands from the start. THEN we got a call or text updates on an almost daily basis from Brandy about the state of our repair and when we should expect to get the car back. The turnaround was less than a week and far exceeded our expectations. Last time we had to get similar work down somewhere else, it took over 2 weeks. The young woman at the front desk (sorry, I don't remember her name) was always welcoming and helped clarify everything for us including payment and coordination with insurance. While insurance covered the expenses, I can say that by comparison to previous work, the price is completely reasonable. The final product was PERFECT (also better than the last time we replaced the bumper), and I can't recommend more highly. The other reviews are right. This shop is great. I just had a 2018 Outback repaired and I'm very happy with the service experience and the work. Carl was clear and proactive about communication and delivered ahead of schedule. Strongly recommend. fwiw..I live 5 minutes from the Gerber shop in the Central District(2113 Olive) and was unhappy enough with the service experience there that I tried the shop on 140th. it's worth the trip. read more

This place was amazing. I got rear-ended and my bumper was damaged. Originally my insurance rep. sent me to a different location. Really far from where I lived.But knowing that I could go anywhere to have the work done, I chose this place because it was close to me. When I first called, I spoke to Brandy. Meeting her in person sealed the deal! She was very knowledgable, compassionate, and understanding. I knew immediately that I wanted to get my car fixed here! She began working to get me in immediately to get my car fixed. As they were working on my car, Mr. Carl kept me informed during the process. Whatever I needed to understand, Mr. Carl explained it clearly. When I picked up my car, Ellison, the receptionist was so sweet. She made me feel right at home. She made sure I had everything I needed before I left. When I received my car back, my bumper looked like I had a new car. They did an awesome job!
