DeGrazia's Auto Body deserves all the 5-star reviews that it has. I was referred to them by the 'parts department' at Lake City Toyota, the dealership where I purchased my 2024 Rav4 Hybrid. Our front bumper had a major dent from a garbage truck dislodging a dumpster that was on wheels. First of all, Degrazia's gave me an estimate within the hour that I scheduled to bring it in to them. They let me know that they would be able to talk with the insurance of the at-fault party to ensure that the insurance would pay for the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and for the labor costs. They assured me that if the insurance offered a lower estimate that they could negotiate their prices to reach an agreement, so that I wouldn't pay anything. I thought it was a good sign that they had gotten a discounted price on the OEM bumper and so listed that price on the estimate, rather than charging the price that it would typically cost. Luckily, the insurance of the at-fault party was willing to pay for the labor costs and parts without an issue. DeGrazia's set up a rental car with the insurance for me and had my car ready within 72 hours of drop-off (dropped off on a Monday, picked up on Thursday). It couldn't have been easier. They are trustworthy, communicative, and did a top-notch job. Thank you, DeGrazia's! I'm glad I trusted the referral from Lake City Toyota. read more

The team at DeGrazia's was spectacular - from our first interactions through to the service team, we immediately felt comfortable and supported. We got the added perk of meeting the part time office dog, Molly too DeGrazia's replaced my front bumper and some other areas that were impacted due to hitting that. The repair looks great, and they did a great color match! They even took extra care to remove duct tape residue that had been on the side of my car for years. Thank you!! We'll be back! read more

The team at DeGrazia did a great job repairing my smashed Honda Hatchback. My photo shows the extent of the rear-end collision damage. These guys were incredible! Excellent work, excellent communication, got my car in immediately. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Appreciate yall. read more

How often is a car issue a great experience? DeGrazzia's owners (Angelina and Anthony) and Curt (expert estimator) took great care of us. We had a scrape that would have cost more than the value of the car to fix but the car is all electric and dependable. They helped us evaluate all the options and eventually we settled on an approach that met our family values (don't total the perfectly functional car ) and make the cosmetic fixes we could afford. I will bring any future auto body needs here and refer to friends. i spent a bit of time in the office while waiting and loved hearing them working and the interactions. I also read the decades of thank you notes that line the walls appreciating this family-owned business. Pick them -you'll be glad you did! read more

If there's one positive thing about car damage, it's DeGrazia's. Excellent quick repairs at reasonable prices. And all overseen by Molly, their sweet dog! Make sure you get to meet her. read more

I can't wait for someone to ask me if I know of a good autobody shop after my experience with the DeGrazia team. I needed a front bumper replacement and a large scape on a door repainted. DeGrazia's got me in for an estimate quickly, talked me through various options for repair and what would happen if there was more damage hidden under the bumper, scheduled the repair the following week, and finished the repair within the timeframe they shared at the estimate. I had gotten a few estimates prior to selecting DeGrazia's. I ultimately chose them (and am so glad I did) because of the thoroughness of the estimate and how informed I felt (I know close to nothing about cars and this was my first major repair), that the estimate came in more affordable than other shops, and that their timeline to repair was weeks shorter than other shops. I was worried it was all too good to be true, but their estimate was accurate (final price actually came in a little under) as well as their timeframe. The car looks good as new and they provided great communication throughout the process. Everyone there is super friendly, including their shop dog, Molly! My fingers are crossed to not damage my car in the future, but I'm so relieved to know I've got such a great body shop in my back pocket. Thank you to the DeGrazia team! Your care and intent exceeded my expectations. read more

I brought my Audi S7 to DeGrazia's to repair a damaged bumper - more costly than you might think given the intricate lower grille. After getting the estimate from GEICO for the repair there was a disconnect between the DeGrazia and GEICO estimates. Steve explained that this difference was due to GEICO not replacing the bumper but rather having it repaired at a specialty molding shop. Steve had his foreman check with the specialty company and then got back to me that they could make the repair sticking to the GEICO quote and if there were any additional costs he would let me know. Ultimately Steve was able to stick within the estimate and the bumper looks like brand new with perfectly matched paint. Fabulous job. I would highly recommend DeGrazia's for both the quality of their work and the very clear communication. read more

I was concerned that an auto body shop would not be able to match my auto's paint color because it is an unusual color. Degrassi did an amazing job, it was absolute perfection! Highly recommend! read more

I was recently in a hit and run accident on I-5 in Seattle with over 13k in damages. In searching for places with quality repair work and good reviews, I had also spoken with several people, many of them pointed me to Degrazia's Auto Body in Seattle. I called them up and spoke with Steve the manager, who was able to schedule me in the next day to take a look at the damages on my car. In the end, I decided to go with DeGrazia's and not go with whom my insurance company was pushing me towards and recommending. Because as you know, can you really trust the insurance companies? Steve, Angelina and Anthony and the whole team at Degracia's autobody in Seattle did an amazing job. Putting my car back together with original parts for me and on budget with my out-of-pocket expenses to what we had agreed on. Steve always returned my phone calls or emails in a timely manner to keep me informed on the progress of my car. And to my satisfaction, it was done in a timely manner with a GREAT job done in the end. I would highly recommend DeGrazia's Auto Body in Lake City as they took great care of me. A big thank you to the whole team at DeGrazia's Sincerely, Mark C. read more

As an old lady (77) a lot of times I have been overlooked and treated as though my opinions and thoughts don't matter. Whether it's because I am old or because I'm female, I'm not sure, but At DeGrazia's Auto Body I had none of that nonsense. I was treated with respect, they listened to what I wanted done to my Toyota RAV 4, did exactly what I wanted and gave me a very good price on it. Great work, great prices and respect! read more

I wish there were more stars I could give for DeGrazia's. We recently had to have work done on our brand new VW Tiguan after it was hit while parked. From my first phone call to vet the shop, through every step of the insurance claim process and finally to the completion of the work, I experienced a level of professionalism, orientation to my value and needs, and kindness that is rare in today's business environment. They did not take our car and keep it on the lot for days on end as others might, but only took our car when they knew they could work on it. They represented us well with the insurance company, and even coached us on how to work with them if it came to it (which it didn't, thanks to Steve's efforts). Finally, the quality of their workmanship was excellent. It is like nothing ever happened to our car. read more

Dear Friends and Neighbors, I wanted to provide you with a more detailed account of my recent experience with DeGrazia's Auto Body, Inc. to help you fully understand the issues I encountered and the reasons behind my dissatisfaction. I believe that my review will be beneficial for those considering this auto repair shop. I have been a loyal customer of DeGrazia's Auto Body, Inc. and had previously experienced nothing but excellence. However, my most recent encounter with them has left me deeply disappointed, and I feel it's important to share the specifics of my experience. My journey with DeGrazia's Auto Body, Inc. began when I scheduled an appointment for my car on May 18th. The first available appointment wasn't until June 14th, which I was willing to wait, based on the previous positive experiences. The appointment took around 10 minutes for photos to be taken and an assessment to be evaluated. At that time, the shop submitted the details to my insurance company. Between June 14th and throughout the month of July, there was a significant amount of back-and-forth via email between the shop, my insurance company, and myself. It wasn't until July 28th that my insurance company informed the shop that they wouldn't process supplements until the vehicle was in the shop and torn down. Unfortunately, the earliest the shop could schedule this for me was on July 31st. I dropped off my car on July 31st, expecting that the repairs would finally begin. However, within an hour, I received a call from the shop informing me that they didn't have all the necessary parts for the repairs, despite having known what parts were needed since June 14th. This forced me to go back to the shop to pick up my car and cancel the rental car I had scheduled, creating a considerable inconvenience. The shop informed me that the parts were finally available on September 5th. Subsequently, I dropped off my car once again on September 8th. During the drop-off, the shop asked if I was okay with using OEM parts, and I agreed, provided that aftermarket parts were not available. Regrettably, the shop didn't disclose its policy regarding parts at this time, which they only did after I had incurred significant costs on my behalf. The shop's policy, as clarified later, is to opt for OEM parts when they can't source the necessary aftermarket parts (from their specific vendors, even if other vendors provide the parts), even if insurance won't cover the added cost. It was only on September 21st, several weeks after they had my car, that I was informed about the approximate cost, which had risen from the initial $850-$900 estimate. When I finally picked up my car on October 6th, I was shocked to find the cost had surged from $850 to $1,400, a 60% increase, despite their initial commitment to minimizing costs. They did make a one-time concession of $150, but the fact remains that paying over $1,250 was unacceptable based on their handling of the situation. Had I known the repairs would take over 100 days and cost me $1,250, I would have chosen a different provider. Given these issues and DeGrazia's Auto Body, Inc.'s lack of transparency, I can no longer endorse their services. I strongly urge anyone seeking timely service and financial transparency to explore other auto repair shops in the area. Your trust in a service provider is crucial, and my recent experience with DeGrazia's Auto Body, Inc. has left me profoundly disappointed. I hope my review helps you make an informed decision when it comes to your automotive needs. Sincerely, Doug read more

When my beloved Porsche was declared totaled by my insurance company, I took it to DeGrazia's Autobody for a second opinion. Although DeGrazia's ultimately agreed with the insurance company, they made the whole experience much more transparent and straightforward. When we first called DeGrazia's, the car was still at the impound lot. Angelina at the front desk immediately hooked us up with Anthony who helped us get the car transferred and then gave a very detailed assessment. Steve, the owner then went over our options very honestly and transparently, while simultaneously interfacing with the insurance company. We really felt that he took his role of representing our best interests very seriously. This review is long overdue, but I wanted DeGrazia's to know how much I appreciated their honesty and integrity during this stressful time. read more

The front bumper and side of my '09 Toyota Camry sustained considerable damage in an 'accident.' (I was not in the car). I was devastated because I didn't have so much as a scratch on the 13 year old, and it is my only mode of transportation. Other car repair shops quoted a wait of 2 to 3 months before my car could even be looked at. The family owned auto body repair shop owner, Tom DeGrazia, had the car looking like new within a very short time. I am so pleased with deGrazias auto body shop! read more

Highly recommended should you need the services of an autobody specialist. The entire experience was several steps above the typical. They provided an estimate on the spot during my fist visit rather than making me come back. The ordered and received the needed parts promptly and finished the repair in two days which is way less than others wanted (two weeks in some cases). The ultimate repair came out vey well and the bill was as expected. These are very nice people and they do a great job. read more

My Toyota Highlander recently needed a bumper repair. I was having trouble finding a body shop that could fit my repair in so I called the Lake City Toyota dealership who recommended DeGrazia's Auto Body shop. I was able to get an estimate the same day I called DeGrazia's and my bumper repaired the next week. It was an excellent job at a reasonable price done with the best customer service I've had in years. It's a family owned business and it shows in the staff's caring, helpful, friendliness. I hope I never need another auto body repair, but if I do, I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Lou R. read more

Our Toyota Corola was involved in an accident a few months ago. We had severe front end damage to our car. I called around to multiple body shops in Ballard, North Seattle, Lynnwood and the East side. All were booked up for 2-4 months. Fortunately, Steve was able to get our car into the shop for repairs the same week. DeGrazia's basically handled all the insurance work after I gave Steve the insurance claim number. He was extremely helpful and always answered my questions and returned my calls. They did a beautiful repair job and honestly I can't see difference between the factory look and Degrazia's repair. The car looks fantastic, just like new again. We had to wait a few extra days due to repair parts that arrived late. No fault of Degrazia's Autobody. If needed, I will be a repeat customer. Both Steve and the receptionist were helpful and friendly and the auto body repairs were excellent. Thanks Degrazia's...... read more

Outstanding experience! Unfortunately my car sustained some damage in a drive-through car wash. Fortunately the car wash paid for the damage and referred me to DeGrazia's Autobody to do the repair work. The experience with Steve and everyone on the staff was consistently excellent and genuinely caring from the beginning to the end. I felt like everyone on the staff is focused on each customer, greeted with a smile, remembered by name when I returned a second time, everyone was helpful, and focused on my being satisfied with the work. I was involved in a hit & run and it was impossible to find a shop that wasn't at full capacity. Luckily I gave Degrazia's a call and the wonderful front desk woman, Jamelly (I'm so sorry for wrong spelling!) ,was able to book me right away. On the phone, Manager Steve, walked me through the whole process which really helped ease my mind as this was my first accident. My insurance and the tow truck company had many communication issues but Anthony gave me no grief and happily worked around the towing issues. Within 2 weeks my bumper was fixed and I was driving my car. DeGrazia's is a family run business that has been doing this a long time and for good reason. They went above and beyond in fixing my car's rear windshield, liftgate, and bumper. They were honest about the timeline of repairs during a period when liftgates are on shortage and got me in sooner for an estimate than any other auto body shop in Seattle. This was great because it got the process going for ordering parts sooner and completed the repairs sooner than other shops would even be able to schedule me for an estimate. They helped me make sure crash wrap was significantly patching up the rear windshield so it was still drivable while we waited for parts on back order. I call this out because I've heard that other shops hold onto your car while they wait for parts with little communication about the reason for delay in repair. They dealt with the insurance company directly to ensure new parts were used and the windshield was calibrated correctly. My repaired car looks brand new thanks to their work. Special thanks to Steve, Angelina, and Anthony who were very communicative and professional. Steve walked me through the process, including calling the day before Thanksgiving to tell me that the parts had arrived. It turns out he has a lot of experience in car insurance / appraisal work so I think that really helped to ensure my the insurance company covered the proper repairs. I also really appreciated being able to drop my car off at 6:30 am since I was working and could not drop it off during regular business hours. I'll see how their repairs and paint hold up and trust that they stand by their warranty. I hope my car doesn't need their services again anytime soon, but if it does I'll definitely be taking it to DeGrazia's. read more

Outstanding Automotive Body Shop ________________________________ This is a family-business that's been in town for a long while. That's why I chose them over a slick 'chain' body place like Gerber. Our car, a Ford Escape was backed-into by the driver of a large pickup truck with a Tommy Lift on its backend. The car sustained quite a bit of damage and fortunately we were not injured. We were referred to DeGrazia's Auto Body when we called an auto repair shop that we had mistakenly thought was a body shop. The shop mentioned DeGrazia's and, after talking to DeGrazia's, we selected them to do the repair work. It took a couple weeks to get things lined up with the insurance company of the vehicle that had hit us. We took the car into DeGrazia's on Tuesday and received the call on Friday, same week, to come pick it up. Our car looks great! It is a bright red and the new paint absolutely matches the original color. The repair ended up being the whole front end (hood, side panels, grill, lights) and the price was high but no more than any other body shop had quoted. We would definitely recommend DeGrazia's. read more
