We have used Gerber 3 times now. All 3 times work completed was excellent. They seem to cushion the time needed, which in my opinion is good. Better than getting the call that it's going to take a few extra days. I wish I had before and after pics. I would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Mr O'Day, The WOW factor simply didn't happen! I was rear ended ... causing head, neck and back injury. First things first, your front desk staff was excellent! Polite, friendly, professional and thorough! Drop off / Ethan Dally: December 3, 2019. Rushed, lack of concern, interrupted me so many times, I never completed a full sentence, unprofessional and uncaring. I mentioned I literally just had an alignment done two days prior to the accident and will be traveling 1200 miles and want to make sure the alignment is ok since the accident. I've was told that Gerber doesn't do that and based on the damage "won't be needed". I also noticed when driving to Gerber that my CD player was now jammed. I asked if they would please adjust/remove the CD. When discussing the process and materials/parts, it was disclosed Gerber would be using either after market parts and or salvaged parts. I said I was not happy with that. My BMW has never been in an accident and should not have used, or after market pieces parts on it! He said ok and I signed the papers. He said he would be in touch with me on Thursday. No call on Thursday. The call came Friday that parts would hopefully be in by Monday. Pick Up: December 9, 2019 Ethan Dally received a call that my vehicle was complete and I could pickup any time prior to closing. I arrived a 1/2 hour later. Again, front desk was excellent! I left work with a friend to arrive promptly to your branch in Hudson. Upon arrival Mr. Dally said he forgot something. Upon returning, he started the passenger air bag screen was still not fixed. We wait! Now 25 minutes in the car is back in the garage. He again comes back and says he needs to make a call. While he is doing that, I ask if the alignment was done. I asked about the CD.. to which I received a "no, the car doesn't need it, and we don't get paid to do that". I again said, I requested this upon arrival... he abruptly left, grabbed the parts of my car that were fixed and said this is what we fixed,it does not need it, turned and litterally threw the parts back into and onto the garage floor. I walked over to snap a photo of that and someone rushed to pick them up. Now on the phone... 10 minutes later it is declared that the car is not done and the screen needs to be reset and can't be done until Tuesday. I am livid. I left work... a friend left work to take me - now we are both out of 2 . hours Update: After posting.... the manager (Max) of Gerber phoned! So, I will always give credit where and when credit is due. Credit is now due. Max apologized profusely for the services AMA lack there of. He vowed to turn my experience around and make it right. First, he sympathized with the situation, he acknowledged the unprofessional behavior. I will be dealing only with him moving forward. Which was professional and appreciated. We will leave it at that. The car had airbag problems... which required more time, more parts, and more patience! But here is the key... COMMUNICATIONS!!!!! Max phoned, updated, explained and did it with professionalism daily and sometimes twice a B day! It's now Friday, December 13! Car is complete! Yes complete!!! A 4 day turn around! Not bad considering it's a BMW. Which are time consuming and well if you know British Motor Wheels you know it's never an easy fix! Brace yourselves... alignment WAS needed! Was it taken care of? It sure was! CD player remains an issue... but it was not caused be the collision ... Hummm ok (????) but I am not going to argue that as time is of the essence. Here is a key note: car is fixed... no customer service drama, no yelling back, no throwing vehicle parts, no excuses! Max made sure the car was detailed.... AND he DELIVERED it! Saving me time which is important to me. OUTSTANDING!! Thank you Max!!! Your eagerness to make it all right turned this experience around. You never once spoke harshly to me and or about your staff ( very important to me). Well done!!!! Mr. O'Day, this young man turned my experience around. Gerber Collision & Glass - This was the item of contention! - Body Shops Near Me - Hudson, Ohio

I don't know what the previous reviewer is talking about. Yes, this is a Geico contracted center, however, the adjuster assigned to this location does not work for Clarke. He works for Geico. This is just one of a handful of locations he goes to and does work. On to my own experience... A few weeks ago some jerk decided to drink, text and speed while going through our subdivision. This resulted in him driving across our lawn, hitting my BRAND NEW CAR, pushing it into my husband's car and then continuing to drive on. My car ended up being totaled and my husband's had about $4,000 in damage done to it. Clarke was good to work with and it was convenient having an Enterprise right beside it to pick up and return rental cars. We got my husband's car back last Thursday. On Friday he realized something still just wasn't right so they had him bring it back in on Monday and we picked it up again today. The car looks great and we're happy to know that because it's a Geico contracted center, the work is guaranteed for the life of the car. While we hope to not need to use Clarke again...we wouldn't hesitate to return if needed. read more

Unprofessional employees. Vehicle was completed later than promised. Not to mention they left packing tape on the muffler, and the burning plastic smell was so strong I thought something was seriously wrong with my car. Someone should supervise their inspection upon completion. read more

This place is a Geico claims adjustment center. I was rear-ended by one of Geico's insured and had to take my car here to get an estimate. Their strong-armed tactics are quite unpleasant. They have this low-key style of intimidation, trying to get you to have your car repaired there. How is it legit that the adjustor works for both Geico AND Clarke Collision? Would NEVER use or recommend this place. read more

Absolutely disappointed with how we were treated at the Hudson location. While in their possession, $1,000 worth of items were stolen from my husband's truck in addition to vandalism we now have to pay to have fixed. The company has been giving us the run-around for about 2 months or more now despite our patience and understanding. We can't even get a check for our insurance deductible to have the truck fixed. At this point, they won't even return my husband's many calls. This is not how you treat customers. In addition, I'm almost certain my husband's truck was washed incorrectly (despite asking them not so laser wash or incorrectly wash it multiple times) causing his 5 month old ceramic coating to now fail despite caring for it as instructed from day one. I am at a loss. We were patient and kind, but we are being walked on and pushed aside. If you care about your vehicle, don't take it here! read more

Don't bring your car here if you need it any time soon. My experience here has sucked. I was in a moderate accident and had my vehicle towed here at dealership recommendation. It took over a week for the vehicle to even be looked at. It sat in their lot with no parts ordered or an inspection to see what needed done for that whole time. Once it was inspected, work started and deadline after deadline has been missed. Calls are rarely returned. I had to show up just to find out what was going on after a week. Now, unnoticed damage was found and will need to be looked at. I've been without my car for 4 weeks now. These guys are known for quality work, but the best mechanical repair in the world doesn't matter if I don't have the car! read more

I took my car here after an accident because they were GEICO's preferred shop. It took about 2 weeks. When I picked up the car, I had my 2 young children with me. I transferred my stuff out of the rental, uninstalled the car seats, and reinstalled them in my car (not easy with 2 children). I paid them and went to drive off. I then noticed the check engine light and tire pressure lights were on. They said both lights should go off after driving, I made the guy drive around the parking lot. He then said the check engine light went off but the tire pressure was still on but not to worry and it is fine. I had him bring it in their garage to check the pressure. He came back saying the check engine light went back on and its not safe to drive (all this after trying to get me and my 2 young children to drive away two times already). I then had to transfer everything again into a new rental. I called GEICO to try to get it transferred because I couldn't trust them. They wanted to diagnose the problem. Turns out something was cracked and they said they ordered the part. I was very clear I did not want them touching my car again. The next morning I called Geico's claim center and they ordered a tow truck to pick up my car. The manager of Gerber then calls asking why there was a tow truck as if it was news to him that I wanted it transferred. I later found out they completed the installation of the new part when I specifically said to cease all work on my vehicle! Under no circumstances should you use this shop. They lie and nearly put my life and my children's lives in danger. NOTE: I am sure someone will respond saying they are sorry to hear about this and are working to rectify the situation. However, the manager had many opportunities to rectify the situation and instead ignored my clear instructions to cease work on my car and continued with the repairs anyways (I assume because he knew he would get paid by GEICO). AGAIN DO NOT USE THIS SHOP! read more

My car came back to me in better condition than it was before my accident! I really couldn't have picked a better place to bring my car. I got my car back a day earlier than expected as well which is also a bonus. Ask for Jon if you choose to bring your car to Gerber, he communicated very well with me through the whole process. I couldn't be more happier with my experience. read more
