Cleanup and finished detailing left something to be desired. There was grit and pieces of old gasket from the old window removal inside the cab, dirty hand prints on the door exteriors, some adhesive on the inside driver window and outside passenger side verticle window frame that was not cleaned up. If the cleanup had been complete this would have been a 5 star review. I sent an email about the cleaning issues but have not gotten a response as of yet. UPDATE: Rich from Defender contacted me first thing this morning and apologized then offered to send out a tech today to finish up a 10 minute cleanup. Terrible, godawful experience. The work was fine, we have a new windshield, fine job…read more I had a scheduled appointment through our insurance for a windshield replacement at 8 am on a Tuesday morning. I was kept waiting so long that my phone died, but my wife received a text update claiming the work was done at 9 am. She attempted to text back asking for an update but never received a response. Meanwhile, I was physically present in the waiting room fully visible by both receptionists. No one ever updated me while my wife waited to hear back, eventually growing anxious as to whether something happened to me. Around 10 am I asked for an update and one of the receptionists reached back to find our file and keys in a mailbox. She explained that "usually they call out a last name". At no point during my extended wait did I hear anyone reach out to me nor did they do so in person. I do know during this time an individual waiting outside was approached and got their car back. They additionally parked our car behind a larger vehicle so that it was not visible. We both work hourly and missed out on pay due to this. And while I understand a deductible is a deductible the fact that I paid in full despite losing money due to the time waiting is infuriating. I cannot recommend highly enough going to any other provider if you at all value your time! Because they sure do not.
