I had an accident and had heard good things about this establishment. So when my insurance adjuster said I would need to get an estimate, I requested this shop. On day 1 I was greeted by Gabriel, and he was very nice and knowledgeable on what they do. And immediately took me out to inspect my truck, and then we went to get me an estimate. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and that made me happy. I wasn't expecting to drop off the car that day, but Gabriel said they could reach out to the Rental car agency. Unfortunately, Enterprise only had one vehicle and it was out of the price range that insurance would cover, so I said I would have to look somewhere else. That's when Louie reached out to Enterprise, and was able to get me the vehicle for the amount that the insurance covered. I was very impressed!! I was told that it would take about a week for me to get my car back, but actually it only took about five days. So I was happy to get my truck back before the holiday weekend. I was called on 7/1 and was informed that my truck would be ready in a few hours and that it was being washed. When I arrived, my car was in pristine condition, Jesus and his team did a wonderful job. I felt like a VIP client. And I'm sure everyone that's taken their vehicle there, feels the same way. I returned to get my car waxed a month after service was completed. Gabriel got me an appointment the next day. Matthew gave me a ride back to work and picked me up once my car was done. I was referred to Gerber from a friend when I needed my side mirror of my car completely replaced. I stopped by to get a quote for replacing my side mirror and they walked me through line by line what each part would cost. I was hoping to get it fixed quickly so Gabriel overnighted the parts I needed, and the next day they were ready to do the repair. They took great care of my car and told me it would be a half day repair job, but they got it done in less than hours! Service from the beginning, with inspection and estimate, to delivery sooner than expected, was professional, pleasant, and very prompt, with a ride to and then back from my home quickly provided and the needed repairs expertly done. Its been awhile, but I have been here before when they were Precision Auto Body. I didn't realize the name had changed, but I was happy to see that most of the staff remained under the new company. Customer service was fast, efficient and friendly. Once I arrived, my car was analyzed and I got a quote. Very reasonably priced. I was able to leave it on the same day, which was convenient. They also work with Enterprise, and kindly gave me a ride down the street to pick up my rental. Everything went so fast and smoothly here! My car was even finished earlier than the date I was originally given. I couldn't be more happier with the repair. It looks like nothing ever happened! They also cleaned it up nicely and made it look super clean and shiny. I attempted to capture pictures, but it was kind of difficult because my car is black. Very disappointed by their lack of integrity. My son took his car there, and apparently the body work they did on his car dent was good (hence the 2 stars), but while his car was in their possession, the windshield, somehow, got cracked. It was NOT cracked when he brought it in. I called to speak with them about it and they tried to sluff it off saying "it had a ding in the windshield, when he brought it in, so it can crack over time", I said the "ding" had been there for a year and had not cracked, so in the 4 days they had it, it randomly cracked? They took absolutely NO responsibility! They kept trying to make excuses. If they would have just owned it and said, yes, it happened while we were working on it and we're not going to pay for it, would have been better. Instead, they made excuses and took no ownership. It obviously happened there...just own it and don't lie. They said they would contact my insurance to see if they could add it to the claim, which clearly would not work. They said they would call me back and NEVER called back. How rude, and disappointing that something so blatantly obvious, and probably, to them, would not have been a big deal since they apparently do glass! To me, this small item is a big mark on their reputation. read more

Gerber went above and beyond for us once again! We used them before when we lived in Santa Barbara and they were so great to work with--so much so that we now live in San Luis Obispo and drove down just to use them again. Louie is so personable, and customer service is clearly his #1 priority. When it was time to pick up my vehicle, I needed to take the train. Because of my schedule, I needed to take a later train that arrived after the shop was already closed. Even though they were closed, they had somebody communicating with me and waiting for me at the train station--and the train was even 30 minutes late! Gabriel was so wonderful, personable, and made me feel like it was truly his pleasure rather than a massive favor they were doing for me. Now that I am back home looking at my vehicle the next day, my kids say it looks like we have a brand new car thanks to the flawless repair job and the beautiful detailing they did before returning it to me. The paint on my car is special and a pain to fix, so what would have been a very expensive repair for minor damage became an easy fix when he and a technician provided a compromise and they quickly straightened out the fender and molding right then and there. I could not ask for a better experience with auto body work. I first came into Gerber a few days after my accident and after an estimate I was told that the most probable outcome was a total loss. After speaking to my insurance I learned that Gerber Collision could repair my vehicle and avoid a total loss because of price agreements between them and the insurer. It was a pretty bad accident but Gerber Collision managed to have my car repaired in about 2 weeks! They provided updates along the way and made sure I was satisfied with the information they gave me. Once they presented me with the finished product, my car looked brand new. Gerber Collision also provided a diagnostic check for me, aligned my car prior to turning it over to me, and gave me a lifetime warranty for the repairs.
