I had an accident and had heard good things about this establishment. So when my insurance adjuster said I would need to get an estimate, I requested this shop. On day 1 I was greeted by Gabriel, and he was very nice and knowledgeable on what they do. And immediately took me out to inspect my truck, and then we went to get me an estimate. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and that made me happy. I wasn't expecting to drop off the car that day, but Gabriel said they could reach out to the Rental car agency. Unfortunately, Enterprise only had one vehicle and it was out of the price range that insurance would cover, so I said I would have to look somewhere else. That's when Louie reached out to Enterprise, and was able to get me the vehicle for the amount that the insurance covered. I was very impressed!! I was told that it would take about a week for me to get my car back, but actually it only took about five days. So I was happy to get my truck back before the holiday weekend. I was called on 7/1 and was informed that my truck would be ready in a few hours and that it was being washed. When I arrived, my car was in pristine condition, Jesus and his team did a wonderful job. I felt like a VIP client. And I'm sure everyone that's taken their vehicle there, feels the same way. I was referred to Gerber from a friend when I needed my side mirror of my car completely replaced. I stopped by to get a quote for replacing my side mirror and they walked me through line by line what each part would cost. I was hoping to get it fixed quickly so Gabriel overnighted the parts I needed, and the next day they were ready to do the repair. They took great care of my car and told me it would be a half day repair job, but they got it done in less than hours! They also work with Enterprise, and kindly gave me a ride down the street to pick up my rental. Everything went so fast and smoothly here! Terrible experience! I went there to have some work done in August and after picking up my car and settling the bill ( paying what they asked for) I left. 3 months later I get a call from Gerber saying I still owe for my repairs. I was stunned after so long. I then asked the person in the phone to have the manager Luis call me to let me know why this was. I asked for a statement as well so I could see what they were going on. Heard nothing back. A few weeks later I get a letter saying I'm being sent to collections. I called the number on the letter ( turned out to be a number that was for a different body shop on their ltr head) and decided to take it up with my insurance company progressive then said they would work on it. Two more weeks went by and they said there put in several phone calls to resolve it and heard nothing back. I then kept calling my mins contrastive the matter but was still waiting. So I paid the Amt owed but still never really resolved the matter. Instead of Luis at Gerber reaching out to me personally to resolve it he got aggressive on what was an acct error instead of dealing with me appropriately. The insurance co( their employee Marc) may have made the mistake but no one would deal with me about the Terribly frustrating. Clearly not going back. read more
