The first time I was there, a young driver who was just learning to drive crashed into the front of my car, causing extensive damage. Iron Horse did an incredible job restoring my car, working with the insurance company, and making the entire process as stress-free as possible. They even took the time to reassure my son, who was driving at the time even though the accident wasn't his fault. Their kindness and professionalism meant a great deal to us. Recently, while my car was parked at Gelson's, I noticed a light orange, powdery residue that looked like it had dripped down the side of my car, leaving long streaks. I was concerned that something had happened to the paint, so the first place I thought to go was Iron Horse. The owner came outside, carefully looked over my car, and immediately put my mind at ease. She explained that she didn't think there was actually any damage to the car and suggested they try removing the residue first. She asked their technician, Pudge, to take a look. He came out with a polishing compound and a buffer, and within just a few minutes every mark completely disappeared. I was absolutely blown away. When I asked what I owed them, they simply smiled and said, "Nothing." I was so appreciative that I gave Pudge a tip. Businesses with this kind of honesty and integrity are becoming harder to find. They could have easily charged me for the service, but instead they chose to help me. Their workmanship is outstanding, but it's their ethics and genuine care for their customers that have earned my trust. He was getting $150 per day for storage so made an extra $1000 by doing that. He charged the insurance company another $1500 or so to determine its condition and then left it partially disassembled in my driveway. Its damage was minor and so I was easily able to reregister it after a few repairs. I would certainly NEVER return to that business for any work of any sort.
