From start to finish, my experience with Caliber Collision was exceptional. Every staff member was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring -- especially my service advisor, Adeli Marquez, who went above and beyond to make a stressful situation feel manageable after my rear bumper was crushed by a car wash company. I truly appreciated the consistent communication and updates throughout the entire two-week repair process. The coordination with Enterprise Rent-A-Car was seamless as well. I was picked up and in a rental car within 20 minutes of dropping off my vehicle at Caliber. When I picked up my car, it was ready earlier than expected and looked absolutely stunning. The paint match was flawless, and the car honestly looked brand new. Knowing the repairs are backed by a lifetime warranty gave me even more confidence in the quality of their work. I highly recommend Caliber Collision and their talented technicians to anyone looking for top-notch service, excellent communication, and beautiful results read more

Very friendly and helpful staff. My daughter's car was totaled and towed there by AAA for an estimate. Manager was super kind and helpful. Staff helped us retrieve the wheel locks. Only so so experience was when calling once and the receptionist was rough on the edges. read more

Caliber Collision - Body Shops Near Me - Santa Barbara, California

Very fast and easy experience. The actual service costed slightly less than the quote, and they found an additional dent which they resolved. They also cleaned the interior and exterior. 5/5 easily. Service done was: appx yard long side swipe including dent from passenger door to rear quarter panel, plus a quarter sized area on hood with paint cracking. read more

Highly Recommend Caliber Collision!! Great experience with Dennis & Allan--super nice guys who not only got the job done in less than half the time I was told by other bodyshops; but for several thousand less! They do quality work and I was more than pleased with the outcome. Great communication and excellent customer service which really impressed me the most! Thank you Caliber!! I'll be spreading the word and returning again (well, I hope not too soon as I don't want any more accidents heehee) read more

Alan checked out my sons car. He let me know the damage was not that significant and they fixed it on the spot! Perfect fix and the best experience I have ever had at any body shop. Dennis and his crew were amazing. I was rear-ended and his crew and he made the car look new again. He was efficient in ordering the parts. So, I was only 2 days without that car. I had a lot of questions and he answered everyone. I have told friends about Caliber. LF read more

I called to make an appointment for replacing my brake light (it was very difficult to remove the panel to get to the brake light) and they told me to just stop by. I was greeted by a friendly worker that showed me to the front office and was helped by Josh. He told me it would just be a moment and it was! They had it fixed and ready to go within 10 minutes free of charge! Thank you Josh! And thank you to the guy that replaced the bulb! (I didn't get his name). I'll definitely be sending customers your way! Very friendly staff and clean reception area. :) read more

Excellent service and more importantly, results. Extra good work right on time. Couldn't recommend more. Talk to Wade.!!

Customer service is a HUGE deal in our house and Josh (and Luz) were extremely welcoming and helpful for us during this whole experience of getting a quote. Josh even took our car and buffed out the scratches free of charge in 10 minutes so it looked almost brand new. He emailed me a quote and I had a few questions and he modified the quote to benefit my request almost immediately. Hopefully we will not have any more damage to any of our vehicles, but if we do, we will DEFINITELY bring it to this business because we appreciate how comfortable they made us feel. Thank you again for all of your help and support read more

They're the best. Great service. Great work. They're honest, reliable, and they stand by their work. And they're great people.

Fast quote and well organized shop with polite employees that worked with my insurance company directly

Really bad customer service. Know it all attitudes from the manager and service advisors. Take longer than they say to fix your car. Overall an untrustworthy place to take a vehicle for repairs. The older woman behind the front desk is mean and snarky. Poorly run and unprofessional corporate body shop. Take your vehicle elsewhere if you can. read more

I recently made a dent in my car which left my front bumper offset an unable to be pushed in! I came here hoping that someone could help me either do that or simply put a zip tie on it because I wasn't sure what else to do. Josh was so nice to help me out in a speedy manor, not making me feel unknowledgeable or guilty for asking and then swiftly did the most they could to put a sturdy bandage on my costly mistake. Thanks so much guys!! If you want nice people and less confusing hoops to jump through get on in there. read more

Phenomenal in every sense, great people who do great work. They went above and beyond taking taking of, repairing, and returning my car.

No one likes to be in a car accident. It just flat sucks. The anxiety... uncertainty... anticipating of arguing and advocating with your insurance company... your anticipated out of pocket... etc. It just sucks. I was the 'victim' of road rage. Which made it even worse for me. Gratefully the other driver and their insurance company took full responsibility for the accident and I was soon set up to bring my car in to Caliber. From the very beginning this group was an A+ class act. Kind. Accommodating. Embracing. Even toned. Overly invested in making sure I understood each step of the process. They set realistic timelines for repairs with thorough explanations about the why's of everything. They set up rental car company transfers. They kept me abreast of developments as they occurred. And, they finished 3 days earlier than they had quoted. When I returned to pick up my car - perfectly put back together with a deep clean to boot! I was greeted by name. Walked through the process. And handed back my keys with a ' thank you for choosing Caliber ' . THANK YOU CALIBER! Bravo!! read more

I was a last minute walk in. My Saab bumper cover clips deteriorated and broke over time (it's a 2007 9-5!) The bumper cover on both sides flared out with nothing holding them in. I took a chance and spoke to manager Josh. He said "Bring it in and I'll take a look." I left the car with him for about an hour. He then called and said: "We're all set." Somehow he had screwed in both sides despite the missing bumber cover tabs and said: "This should hold fine. No charge." I was so pleased and grateful that he eliminated what had become a real source of anxiety for me i.e., "Is the bumper cover going to fall off?" A good guy: knowledgeable, polite, helpful. I recommend him and Caliber highly. Thanks again, Josh! read more

I had a large streak of pain on my 2021 black Acura TLX. Felipe removed the paint and touch up a couple spots and wasn't going to charge me. I almost cried as I forced him to take a small amount of cash . Years ago they repaired my 2005 Acura TL and their skill is top notch. Not only that but their customer care is wonderful. I highly recommend them and tell Felipe that Ruth with the black Acura sent you. He is honest, fair and thorough. read more

When you get in an accident, you usually have to deal with endless mode. But seriously, I'm really impressed at the operation here, and after getting my baby slammed by another vehicle, they took care of it in the most comforting way possible. I don't feel ripped off and it appears these guys are super honest. My car got looked at, took a rental car for 3 weeks and they had a driver drop me off to the Enterprise, then got my car back smoothly, no complaints. Thanks for the good experience Caliber! read more

Terrible. No communication. Do not take your vehicle there. My car was there for 2 weeks and they didn't even touch it.

I rarely leave negative reviews for businesses but I feel the need to warn my community about this Caliber Collision location. My Audi Q5 was damaged in an accident and I chose this location to repair my car, as it seemed like a reliable choice. They did repair my car, however, the door handle completely fell off of my car after having been repaired. I contacted Wade (who initially assisted with the repair) and he let me know they would take care of this warranty issue. It has since been weeks since I have brought my car back in with this warranty issue. I have called two weeks in a row now, multiple times, asking about the status of the repair, both times being told that the repair would be done that same week. Upon calling this business, I have been given conflicting information regarding when I will receive a call back. I was told earlier this morning that Wade would give us a call back after his lunch break today. When I did not receive a call back from Wade, I called back again later in the afternoon and was told by Luz (Luce?) that he was busy and would "call when he can". I have not heard from Wade in weeks and this error on their part is now causing financial strain on my family. It's very unfortunate that their error in repairing my car has caused this horrific delay. I understand that there may be a labor/parts shortage, but I was told that they do indeed have the part and that my repair is "in queue". As a business owner myself, it's extraordinary hard to believe that they wouldn't prioritize correcting a mistake they clearly made and admitted to. If you are looking for a quality repair, especially if you have a luxury vehicle/Audi, do not bring your vehicle here. I highly regret my decision in choosing Caliber Collision and would not recommend them to anyone. We still have no idea when this will be fixed and have received no communication on this. read more

The reference for this review is: The upper film of overnight hotdog water. In recent times, I have unfortunately got into an accident due to the rains and hydroplaned and hit the side rear of my vehicle. I had the 2021 mustang gt premium fully equipped towed in cause I didn't feel like driving a recently impacted car anywhere and if I hydroplaned once going 60 I'm going to do it again and my side curtain airbags deployed so I couldn't really see out the side unless I strapped them and I just didn't really feel like going through the whole ordeal I have triple. Anyways I drop off my car from the tow company and Erik whom I spoke with over the phone because I was in the Drs office getting a ct scan because I have recently recovered from getting hit by a truck and recovering from a 1 month coma. Aside from that Erik whom I'm speaking with over the phone tells me that he'll get the quote for me tomorrow but if super packed it may take 48 hours. 30 hours are passing by and I get off work and go visit a little before 5pm to see how things are going and maybe I can motivate them with extra cash for repairs, and low and behold my car has not been touched and was dropped in the corner of the lot occurring storage fees which was not relayed to me that if I leave the vehicle there overnight I would accrue 200$ in charges. I am totally fine with if that's normal practice but for some odd reasons Luz didn't want to write any of the reasons on paper but would like to just discuss the reasons instead. In conclusion, if you want quality work go to a quality place and that was my first mistake I take accountability for. As soon as I seen the whole lot of cars just sitting there with insurance policy's on the front of cars collecting dust and when I was speaking with the "manager luz" I seen about 8 techs and 6 office workers all hanging around watching. When I left all the techs were giving me thumbs up telling me to rev it on my way out. Also I might add manager Luz wanted me to sign a paper stating that I'm signing because I'm acknowledging that my car is deemed a total loss and I was not going to sign that as I drove off and revved my 2021 mustang gt premium fully loaded with custom parts on it out the lot and totally safe and deemed ok to drive by a police officer I spotted on the way to the next shop which I fell in love with. read more

Vehicle was in an accident on the way home from Northern California in Santa Barbara and was taken to Caliber Collision. After the initial estimate we found out the Insurance Company totaled the car. My parents who are in their 80's drove 60 miles to clean out the vehicle. They forgot the garage door opener and once realized, called to advise it was still in the vehicle and asked if it was possible to have it mailed to them. They were told yes, it will be mailed and to look out for it. After multiple phone calls, and multiple weeks of waiting, my husband drove 75 miles to pick it up. Disappointing to say the least. I understand businesses are busy, but either follow up when you agree to do something, or just be up front and say it can't be done. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! Someone decided to back out into me in the Trader Joe's parking lot & it left a good scrape on my back bumper. Caliber Collision was one of the AAA approved shops and, since my brother had a horrible experience at the other shop down the road, I decided to give Caliber a try. I am SO glad that I went with Caliber! The entire staff is friendly and professional, kept me updated on the finish date & progress through text messages, and it looks like I never got hit! They also have a nice waiting area with coffee and popcorn if you like. I also thought the estimate was fair and they handled everything through my insurance company since they deemed it the other person's fault. I hope I never have to get an collision repairs in the future but, if I do, I'm definitely coming back here for those repairs! read more

When Caliber first opened, I was concerned they looked like a production shop but the people are friendly and all the small mistakes were made good by the manager himself got it straightened out subsequently I took two or three other jobs there the quality seemed to be slipping down. The managers kept getting changed, and twice I took jobs back there with their guarantee, and their answer was oh there must be some mistake that guy doesn't work here anymore. Last week I went in there to get an estimate on a small job on my expensive car. It was only one woman in the office she seem preoccupied, and when I ask about making good on their warranty, she was completely unhelpful.she became rude. I think they live a quick insurance jobs and could not recommend the shop anymore. I guess it's probably worth the drive to Goleta to get a good job anymore. read more
