We contacted Caliber Collision while we were in Santa Barbara on vacation. Unfortunately, we blew out the window of our hatch back when backing into a parking spot at our Air BNB. We needed a temporary fix to get us through our visit and during our drive home to the Bay Area. I was very please with the service and support provided by Tonya Lagunas. She was very kind and helpful both on the phone and in person. Also the service technician who wrapped our window with crash wrap was also very kind and attentive to our request. My poor car has been hit twice on separate occasions parked on the street in my neighborhood. I called Geico for help and they immediately connected me with their partner shop Caliber Collision. The location is easy to find on the corner of Gutierrez and Santa Barbara. They assessed the car, gave me a rough overview of what I can expect and timing for the vehicle. I had a rental car waiting for me (courtesy of Geico). In a few days I received a call with a damage estimate of over $3K, but was required to pay the $500 deductible. I've received periodic text updates which have been great and looks like from start to finish it should take 1 week. I am pleased. read more

Caliber Collision was recommended by Farmers Insurance and after a days evaluation they were able to give me an estimate, communicate with my insurance and start the repairs on Cookie. I have never been treated so kindly as I was at Caliber Collision on Gutierrez this week. I needed a repair on my car's bumper, which wasn't covered by insurance. I had been putting off getting it fixed because I was afraid it would be troublesome and expensive to repair. Ruben at Caliber Collision was amazing. When I brought my car in for the repair, they went SO ABOVE AND BEYOND. Not only did they not overcharge me, but the bumper was fastened back on perfectly as if nothing had ever happened. In addition they completely cleaned the car, (which admittedly was in real need of a wash). So not only did I come back to a car which was much safer, but also much more beautiful than I had left them! Aside from the service and excellent job they did with the repair, I really was treated with so much kindness. There communication is subpar. Even the insurance guy from triple A never called me back. How do you schedule an appointment for Saturday when you are closed. I could've picked my car up yesterday on Friday, but the mechanic insisted on making an appointment for Saturday. Little did I know Saturday and Sunday they are closed. Terrible service. read more

I have had such great experiences every time I've needed a repair. Recently I had my Honda Hybrid in - it was hit in a parking lot. These guys are a joke, they provide the worst quality in town! Most insurance use them because they are the cheapest. You get what you pay for, as the old saying goes. Avoid this shop at all costs. Just because they are your insurance preferred company does not mean you have to use them. Go elsewhere, your insurance company will still pay. read more
