If you need auto glass work done in the Santa Barbara area, this is the place! I had a MB Sprinter van windshield replaced in the Seattle area a couple months back. As it turns out, the guys in Seattle botched the job. The first issue I had was that my windshield wiper sensor didn't work. I stopped by the shop to ask if they could help, and they told me to stop in any time. I showed up the next morning and Juan spent over a half-hour re-installing and sealing the sensor- got it working like new. When I asked where to pay, he told me no charge and he'll see me when I need something else taken care of. And then I did. A few weeks later I was driving in a major rain storm and water started streaming in from the top of the windshield. I brought the van in and Juan quickly identified the issue. I was expecting to pay several hundred dollars to remove and re-install the windshield, but he was able to re-seal without removing the glass - the bill was less than half what I was expecting. This shop does quality work and will do the right thing for their customers. They deserve to be on your list of go-to service providers!! read more

Really appreciate the team at Tri-County Auto Glass!! James had answered my call during the holiday season and gave me recommendations and advice for some leaking issues I have been dealing with that I believe to be the windshield (replacement was done in another state years ago). After a failed attempt at finding the issue myself I called again and they were able to get me in same day to check out my vehicle. From the beginning I felt confident and comfortable with the communication and really feel there is a sense of care and respect. Everyone at the shop was kind and professional. I am very happy to have found them! read more

I realized that this place and Best Price Auto Glass are the main 2 players recommended in town. Even though Best Price had the "best price" the woman on the phone, Suzanne, made me feel uncomfortable. Like if there was a problem, she would be a problem to deal with. I then called Tri County and spoke with Kirsten. I was specific that I wanted to be sure there were no leaks and she assured me they guarantee their work, so I gave them the business. Within an hour after dropping off my car she calls me to tell me there's rust around the windshield frame and that the other people did a really bad job, blah, blah, and that they wouldn't be able to guarantee the work because of it or I could take it somewhere and pay $200 for them to fix it, I was not pleased at all. I asked if this was common and she said it is. Then state that up front before I bring my car in, so I can look somewhere else instead of finding out you're reneging on the guarantee AFTER my windshield is already out of the car. Then she calls me at 2:00 p.m. when I'm 15 miles away to tell me my car is ready. I ask when they close and it's at 3;00 p.m., so I have to bust a** to get there in time. Who closes at 3:00 p.m....?, and you need to say that IN ADVANCE. I finally get my car out of there and it's obvious right away there's a weird squarish sticky mark right in the center of the windshield. And as the next 2 days go by, it just keeps getting worse. Sticky square marks everywhere, nice work. I call and speak with James the owner who tells me that the Fuyao windshields have been problematic and this is the 3rd time in several months they've had issues. Hmmmm....and yet you keep coming back for more? I decided I'd had enough and took my car somewhere else. I was even nice enough to return the sticky squares windshield back to them. At the end of it, I realized that nearly everything Kirsten and I discussed went into some vortex where in the next hour or day, she acted like we'd never discussed it. This is no way to do business. Don't go here, it doesn't work. read more

These guys are impossible to beat. They offered kind, gracious service over the phone; they found glass perfect for a 30 year-old, long-defunct car; they finished the job very quickly, and ahead of schedule; and they charged much, much less than they had originally imagined, and far less than Safelite had told me it would cost. I would go to them and only to them any time I have a problem with my windshield. read more

We have been helped by these wonderful professionals for years. They have replaced a few windshields in various vehicles expertly. They are a joy and pleasure to work with and their work is extraordinary. They work well with insurance providers and obtain the highest quality glass available. As new vehicles often have FCW cameras is is extremely important to replace windshields with OEM and Tri- County is experienced with this necessity and the ts process- both with insurance providers as well as the actual installation. We are grateful to be able to use their services. read more

The guys at Tri County Auto Glass were friendly, professional and detailed in their work. They always go above and beyond to help their clients. I highly recommend this shop for all of your glass repairs. They explained everything thoroughly and were quick and efficient. Hans even helped me with something on my car unrelated to my repair. I will happily refer friends and family. Also a great price. Janis read more

I've had the glass break on one of my cars in the past and I remember the process being a huge headache at the last place I took it. Tri-County Auto Glass was the opposite. I had my passenger front glass window break on me around Isla Vesta and found these guys not too far. The lady at the front desk is very kind and transparent and we made plans to drop off the car. When I did, they quickly got to work and had it done super fast with no traces of it being broken in the first place. Replaced glass, vacuumed all the shards out, and no pesky pieces left in the door. These people made a headache turn into a short pitstop for me, not to mention the really fair price and quality of glass. Really awesome people. read more

The only reason I give Tri -County 5 stars is because 6 stars is not an option! Jody and Kolin went the extra mile to give my 1999 Suburban a good as new result despite a couple of challenges you might expect with a 20+ year old car. I recommend them without any reservations. They stand behind their work! read more

My experience with the folks at Tri-County Glass embodied integrity in customer service. I was a Customer Success Manager for a start up in the legal engineering space, and I recognise great customer service when I see it. I took a small rock in the windshield of my VW Golf and the nick started to spider web. I had driven by Tri-County Auto Glass countless times over the years so I knew where they were. My VW mechanic recommended that I have them replace the windshield, so I made an appointment right away. I took the car in on a Tuesday morning. After I dropped it off, Juan called me and asked me if I could come back to the shop because he wanted to show me something. I was at the cafe next door, so I walked right over. He showed me a nick in the replacement windshield, which had just been delivered (I saw it come off the delivery truck from the cafe). The nick was tiny - had he not mentioned it, I probably would have missed it once it was installed. Juan offered me two options: 1. go ahead with the installation, and he would offer me a discount; 2. order a new windshield, but it would take two days to arrive. He said that he would inspect it before hand and I could have it installed on Friday. I chose the option 2. The installation was flawless. I paid cash and received a discount for doing so. Tri-County Auto Glass exemplified great customer service: quality work (the original inspection), honesty (advising the customer of the situation), offering the customer reasonable options up front (install with a discount or get an unblemished product ASAP), finish the job with quality workmanship. I would recommend Juan and his entire team and would go back to them again - but hopefully I won't ever have to! read more

Really good experience to replace the windshield of my car. They were super responsive with scheduling and appointment and the price was reasonable (under $400) when other companies quoted me closer to $500. There was an issue with the first windshield they put on and they were quick to correct it read more

Had a very large crack in windshield. The replacement was very complicated as it involves cameras, lane change technology, etc. The replacement was costly and not sure if our insurance would pay for "factory" replacement. Jodi went to bat for us and got it done. It entailed a great deal of calibration. She said four hours....and we picked it up in four hours. Everything works perfectly. In the next month, our car was parked in an underground lot in a hotel. The windshield had several large drips from overhead pipes that would not come off with normal cleaning. We stopped on our way home just to ask what we could use to clean it. Jodi immediately grabbed a couple solutions and went to work. She even gave us some of the cleaner to finish when we got home. We offered to pay her and she would not accept. That is CUSTOMER SERVICE at its finest. read more

So helpful and fast! I wish everyone was so on top of it for both job done and customer service.

Tri-County Auto Glass is the place to go for windshield repair! Fantastic service, quality, and quick. I work nearby and a rock hit my windshield. I went next door and was quickly greeted by Juan who was warm, friendly, and quickly got me a quote and an appointment. I walked away feeling very assured I reached a reliable business. I also interacted with Jody who was also amazing with updates and payment. My windshield is now perfect and left with warm farewells. Truly a spectacular team! Thank you so much :) read more

LMAO. The owner finally got back to me three years later... Original post: I called this place three times to get an estimate. The first time the guy I spoke to said he would call me back the next day with an exact quote. That didn't happen, so I called back two days later. The woman I spoke to was very nice, apologized for them not returning my call, and seemed very competent. Unfortunately she needed a VIN number to look up the quote, so I had to call back because I wasn't near my car. I called the next day with the VIN. I believe I spoke to the same guy I spoke to the first time, gave him the VIN, and he told me the woman would call me back later. Again, I never got a call. It's pretty disappointing considering all of the good reviews they have on yelp. Because of the poor customer service, they lost business I would have given them. read more

These guys are absolute pros. From start to finish everything was so easy. My insurance company sent me here because they are one of the few glass replacement companies that understand and can recalibrate the cameras where sensors are embedded in the windsheild. It was them or the dealership and the dealership hadn't returned any of my many calls, so I was relieved with all the help TRi County gave me even on the first call! I'll never go anywhere else now. Hats off to this well oiled team! read more

I sent an after hours email on a Thursday and they responded first thing the next morning! Was able to give me a quote and appointment for that Monday as the window needed to be ordered. Replaced the window in about an hour and the tint matches perfect. Hopefully I won't need to replace another window but if I do will be using them again! read more

I finally got around to calling AAA to get my cracked windshield fixed. They sent me to Safelite who sent me to one of their partners in Santa Barbara, Tri-County Auto Glass. They replaced the windshield while I waited in the office. Looked like a pretty god job to me. But after the last heavy rains in January of 2023 I found a lot of water intrusion on the left front and right front corners of the cab. The glove box was wet as well. So called up AAA, they said to call Safelite as they covered the warrantee and while I was on the phone Safelite called Tri-County Auto Glass and Jody said to come in the next day, so I did. Juan sprayed a soapy solution around the seams of the windshield then used pressurized air from the inside to see if any bubbles arose, NONE appeared. So their job was proved to be perfect. I said, my god, where is the water coming from? Juan said why don't you meet me at the carwash next door and we will do a high pressure water test. So I met him across the street at the at the carwash. I sprayed water on the windshield while Juan looked for the source of the leaks. He found the source on the right, but he said the source on the left could be a number of places. Not sure how I am going to plug the leaks, but now I am pointed in the right direction. I asked how much I owed him and he said nothing. I was a bit shocked so I thought I would post a review on Yelp to let you all know my experience at Tri-County Auto Glass!!! read more

Tri-County is the real deal. Pricing was competitive with the big chains. Super quick response when I reached out via email, worked with me on timing and got me in for multiple repairs quickly. I took my 2015 RX 350 in for a new windshield. The whole process was seamless. Gave them my vin the gave me 2 options OEM or another brand, the other brand was much cheaper yet still safe. I can not tell the difference. The installation was smooth. Thank you. read more

Terrific customer service - they're the best! A part from my windshield cover panel had fallen off and they told me to come on in, and they re-set it then and there. Weeks later, a couple of the clips holding the windshield panel broke off (it's a 13-year old car), and again, they were immediately responsive and ordered new clips. As soon as the clips came in, they scheduled me within a day. I brought my car in and they replaced the clips and re-fit the panel while I waited. Fast and painless - thank you!! I highly recommend them. read more

Everything was PERFECT! My passenger window was shattered during a trip to LA and I needed to get it replaced ASAP. I live in Goleta and called 7 different auto glass locations, no one else had a Yaris window in stock. They were fast, efficient, and friendly. They're located right behind the French Press, it was a great place to wait. They even vacuumed out the rest of the glass bits I couldn't get to, without me asking. I'll recommend them to everyone in the future! read more

I had to replace my back windshield. The piece itself is hard to find because of the tint and style, but the staff at Tri-County Auto Glass did a great job in receiving the windshield in a timely manner. I had to have my windshield replaced (for a second time within a year) and after a poor experience my first go around with another vendor I decided to try Tri County Auto Glass. The experience was AWESOME! The office was very helpful with processing all the details with my insurance, including asking for OEM glass instead of aftermarket, which I forgot to request. The installation service was also great, quick, informative with post installation info and they were able to schedule me in for replacement very quickly after the part arrived. Very pleased with the outcome, would return for future glass work but hopefully won't need to! read more

Last night I got a visit from the auto burglary fairy. While I've never seen this creature, I'm picturing a crack addled waste of life who is no longer human and deserves to be brutally tortured to death in the most humiliating and painful way possible and... ...sorry, things got a little cathartic there for a second. Anyway, I had a broken passenger window with glass all over the place in my truck to boot. I called around town and the folks at Tri-County offered a very reasonable price and were able to send a guy and a work truck out the same day to replace my window. The guy showed up to my office and did the job in about an hour in the parking lot. He was very professional and even did an excellent job of cleaning up all the broken glass pieces in my truck. FABULOUS!! This business is just fabulous - they went above and beyond for us! My daughter in college lives in IV and sadly came out to go take a midterm only to find her driver's side window smashed in. I do not live in the area so started the scramble to find an auto glass business to get it repaired. I Googled auto glass repair businesses and read a couple of good reviews about them so called Tri-County. From the first phone call with Drew to subsequent calls with him, as well as ones with Scott and James, not only were we accommodated but we were given the best treatment possible. Just a few examples: They allowed us to leave her car inside one of their garage slots overnight to keep it safe till her ordered window arrived. Her car door no longer opened due to the smash/glass pieces so they worked on it for over 2 hours to get it opened so that we wouldn't have to take it to Honda at an extra expense (AAA could not get it opened). We were allowed to leave her car at their garage over the weekend till we could pick it up on Monday. Very reasonably priced! All of the glass pieces were vacuumed up and the inside of her car was cleaner than I can ever remember it. Another great touch was Keith being helpful when we would pull out into that busy street from their parking lot. I would recommend them to everyone. I feel better knowing my daughter has them to help her should she ever need it in the future while she is in SB for school. Thanks for such a great experience during a stressful time! read more
