I can't speak for every doctor associated with this group but based off other bad reviews, I too…read moreexperienced a lack of concern or professionalism. I seen Dr. Tiu for debilitating swelling and leg pain in my legs but specifically my right leg. The first visit I explained what I had been experiencing including the issue sending me to the ER because I have problems walking, standing, and sitting for more than 30mins. Every time I sit my feet turn blue and my toes go numb. Initially he has stated he didn't know what was wrong with my legs but because I had pulses in my feet that meant it's not a circulation issue to him and said to have my primary refer me to ortho. I told him it takes so long to get into a specialist and I didn't feel I was getting proper care. He than agreed to order an ultrasound of my veins in the legs. Which the report came back stating I do infact have blood flow issue in the back of both knees. I had my follow up appointment with Tiu and once again he initially told me he doesn't know what's wrong with my legs but that its not a circulation issue and that it's not a big deal. I reminded him that this condition is literally affecting my daily life and quality of life as well as causing me extreme pain. He said to buy compression stocking from amazon. I informed him I had shown my cardiologist who also does vascular care the report and my cardiologist had some concern due to my heart issue. Dr. Tiu said to have him treat me. He has a concerning careless attitude towards patients and I do not feel properly evaluated by him. I will not be returning as a patient.

Being that it was my first time getting this service she walked me through the process. She had a great touch and it was very relaxing. She recommended derma-plane as well. I decided why not since I was saving a great deal on the facial. She was very knowledgeable and recommended some skin care solutions that might help with a minor breakout I was having in recent weeks. I look forward to seeing Sydney again for esthetic services at Dr. Newman's, I highly recommend the HydraFacial with Sydney!

I wanted to give my son time to completely recover from a full blown open heart surgery, back on Aug. 25th, 2022. It is now going on 4 months. He has slowly but surely come back from such a life-changing experience. Dr. Howe, it is with heartfelt respect and admiration, that I come on this social platform, to greet you, and your colleagues for the utmost professionalism and love you displayed for my family and I, during one of our most terrifying moments. How does one repay a human being, for saving his life?? There are no real words to define on YELP, what you mean to us. Our son is alive because of you. Born with a bicuspid heart valve, you and your team, went to work and did everything humanly ( beyond human ) possible to explain to us, and our son, what had to be done. 5/2/23 Dr. Howe, you are an amazing Surgeon. I hesitated to post this for fear of not being able to convey, to the general public, how special a man you are. Words cannot EVER define how thankful we are for you. Our son has returned to work, and is in the best health. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

So of course on a Friday evening I had a major attack. I called their office after hours and left a message. I prayed I would make it to the hospital as it was in San Diego, an hour drive. Within about 15 minutes Dr. Burgess called back as he was on call that weekend. He assured me that the hospital knew that I was on my way and that he would take care of everything. He even engaged Dr Schultzel that evening. Dr Burgess performed my surgery and did a fantastic job. He calmed my nerves before surgery with confidence and useful information on what to expect afterward. I recently had shoulder surgery and was concerned about the after surgery gas pain so many people talk about in the shoulder area. He reassured me that he tried to remove as much as he can during surgery. I had zero pain from the gas. It is NOT possible to find a better surgeon. Dr. Burgess is hands down, the best. Also he is humble and not arrogant like so many other surgeons can be. Thank you Dr Burgess for your care.
