I seen Dr. Tiu for debilitating swelling and leg pain in my legs but specifically my right leg. The first visit I explained what I had been experiencing including the issue sending me to the ER because I have problems walking, standing, and sitting for more than 30mins. Every time I sit my feet turn blue and my toes go numb. Initially he has stated he didn't know what was wrong with my legs but because I had pulses in my feet that meant it's not a circulation issue to him and said to have my primary refer me to ortho. I told him it takes so long to get into a specialist and I didn't feel I was getting proper care. He than agreed to order an ultrasound of my veins in the legs. Which the report came back stating I do infact have blood flow issue in the back of both knees. I had my follow up appointment with Tiu and once again he initially told me he doesn't know what's wrong with my legs but that its not a circulation issue and that it's not a big deal. I reminded him that this condition is literally affecting my daily life and quality of life as well as causing me extreme pain. He said to buy compression stocking from amazon. I informed him I had shown my cardiologist who also does vascular care the report and my cardiologist had some concern due to my heart issue. Dr. Tiu said to have him treat me. He has a concerning careless attitude towards patients and I do not feel properly evaluated by him. I will not be returning as a patient.
