He was very thorough in communicating the results from all the various tests performed on my neck. He actually took the time to listen to all I had to say and answer in detail my questions. I needed the surgery during the time when the hospitals had no beds available due to covid. He managed to arrange surgery with a great outcome. This is my neck so I was certainly concerned. I have no words to express how grateful I am for his ability and competence. The surgery was performed on the front and back of the neck. The surgery could not have had better results. The scar on the front of my neck is difficult to find. And my vocal cords are not just as they were before surgery. Follow up appointments with Dr. Oh just proves how caring and compassionate he is with his patients. He is truly a gifted an amazing neurosurgeon. If you need a neurosurgeon, pray that you are assigned Dr. Oh.

Unfortunately, my post-surgery experience has been made extremely stressful due to the office staff and management. When my EDD paperwork was first submitted, the staff only gave me two weeks off work, even though the doctor clearly stated I needed six weeks due to lifting restrictions. After multiple calls, I finally spoke with Julie, who was rude, argumentative, and dismissive. She even said sarcastically, "Fine, I'll give you six weeks off," which is completely unprofessional. I later spoke with Emily, the office manager, who apologized, but Julie's poor attitude continued. Despite Emily's assurance that she would personally handle any future issues, she never returned my follow-up calls. Since then, communication has been inconsistent. Some emails were answered, but usually with short, unhelpful replies, and many others went unanswered altogether. Each visit I've made to the office has been met with cold or dismissive attitudes. Even when my doctor extended my recovery another two weeks, Emily questioned it inappropriately in front of other staff. I've had to show up in person multiple times just to get updates, only to be brushed off again. The doctor and PAs are wonderful, but the back office is disorganized, unprofessional, and lacking empathy. I've felt ignored and unsupported -- especially regarding time-sensitive EDD paperwork that directly impacts my income. It's unfortunate because Dr. Schultzel deserves better representation from his staff. Patients shouldn't have to fight this hard for basic communication and follow-up care. I asked for his advice. He sarcastically asked my husband if he should get an X-ray. He said I was chasing diagnoses since I saw a cardiologist to rule out heart as the source of pain. He was completely inappropriate. I have never had a more inappropriate interaction with a physician. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for back care. I had originally been referred to a different ortho specialist and had a horrible experience there. When I asked to get a new doctor doe a second opinion I was sent to Dr. Pacheco. Now when I first went to see him I didn't expect much, I knew my back was bad and there probably wasn't going to be many options for me. But Dr. Pacheco was a kind and understanding person, and luckily enough he had experienced similar people with my type of pain. Ultimately he provided me with the option of a spinal fusion, I won't lie I was nervous, but I could tell Dr. Pacheco was trustworthy and he was willing to give me another shot with a repaired back. It might not be brand new but he fixed me up. Dealing with chronic back pain as bad as mine really had me in a dark place mentally but Dr. Pacheco was able to give me hope again.

I've been seeing Dr. Kelling for about seven years, and he's been an incredible doctor throughout…read morethat time. He's performed my cervical spine epidural injections for years, and they've always been as pain-free and efficient as possible. He walks you through every step of the procedure, keeping you calm and comfortable. His skill and precision make the process quick and smooth unlike my experience with another doctor I saw once, which was far less pleasant. But what truly sets Dr. Kelling apart goes far beyond his technical ability. At one of the lowest points in my life, he looked at all of my symptoms as a whole instead of just focusing on his specialty. He told me something that completely changed my life: "It's not just one thing that's the problem, it's everything adding up and compounding on each other. You need to address each one." That one comment set me on a path to getting my life back. I went on to have three surgeries, the most significant being artificial disc replacements at C5/6 and C6/7. It turned out that I had an undiagnosed chordoma tumor growing around my C5/C6 nerves, pressing on my vertebral artery and eroding the bone. Catching that early may have saved my life.
