We have been going to Georgio's for years but had not visited in several months due to health issues. We decided to go back this past Thursday as I remembered they had Meatloaf as one of theIr Thursday specials. First the service was not very good as we seated ourselves and waited easily 10 minutes for someone to wait on us. I ordered the Meatloaf with two sides and tea. The tea tasted old and I told waitress and asked for a fresh glass. Same taste so I just sipped very little. I love Meatloaf but this was so dry and the ketchup I used from one of those red plastic bottles tasted awful!! No telling where that ketchup came from!! Not Heinz or Hunts for sure!! Our waitress was so non attentive and acted like she was in another world throughout our visit!! Bottom line, this is not the Georgio's I remembered and enjoyed!! And to top our visit off they are discontinuing SpotOn which we use at different locations for earning free entree's,etc. We will never return here after having such poor service and food!! read more

My husband and I have been coming here for years. Longer than I would like to admit. If you are looking for a good meat and 3 type of place, then this is your spot. We mostly eat here for lunch and the specials are reasonable. You shouldn't expect fresh at these prices and the speed (which is pretty fast) at which you receive your order. I was playing music in town last weekend and decided to have a bite before setting up. I had noticed their sign on the way in to town and thought I'd check things out. Georgio's is in a strip center with a Food Lion (nasty company in Charlotte - never go there), a chinese place, and a pizza place. The pizza was out of the picture; just didn't feel like being disappointed with a mediocre pie today. I like to do Chinese since I can usually get something that might be healthy but I looked in the door and saw styrofoam plates which totally blew it for that place. That left Georgio's. I loved that this was obviously the place the locals ate. This is always a good sign that people don't get sick from eating here. In a small town this is an important place to know about. I ordered the Hamburger which was made to order, juicey, and made with high quality meat without fillers. The tomatoes were also tasty and probably local. This was probably the best burger I have had in a good while! The help was very friendly and everyone seemed to truly enjoy their food. I was a happy man and will be back. Oh yes! The prices are too low for the quality of the cookin'. I would have easily paid 20% more. Georgio's is located just off route 74 on the way into Cramerton. read more

The chicken noodle soup was delicious. The special on the day that I came was beef tips which were pretty good, I also had the mashed potatoes (which were homemade and very tasty), and Mac & Cheese (which had a weird consistency but it was ok). Overall my meal was a 3.5 out of 5, but if I was scoring them on their service it would be a ZERO. When we walked in all of the tables except the one we sat at were covered in mounds of dishes. I counted 3 waitresses, a guy that came out of the back (maybe a cook) and looked to be an older lady (maybe a busser). So 5 people and the restaurant is covered in half eaten plates of food. There were some cops sitting near us and the lady who was running the cash register would not leave them alone! She was not offering service , but she was being OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD and showing off her daughter (the little girl was adorable). Not to mention while I was paying she talked over me, never making eye contact with me several times to the cop that was behind me while I was trying to ask her a question. I don't know if she was trying to hook herself a husband or what, but by the looks of it he was not interested. We waited 7 minutes before our waitress came over to take our drink order, but the food came out pretty quickly. The waitress never returned to refill our drinks, but did stop by once to check on us. Do not order the cheese sticks, they literally have little to no cheese in them Would I go back inside and eat? No. Would I order to go food? Yes. The prices are not bad. The bill was $30 for an appetizer, 2 specials, and drinks. read more

I've been here twice. Decided to give them another try after a bad first experience. The second time wasn't any better. The food here is a low grade cafe food. The pork chops were dry and tasteless. The mash potatoes were rock hard. Won't be back. read more

The food was fine, the portions huge! So if you are a big eater this is the place for you. They give you soup with your entree, which is simple but very favorful. The owner wife is rude and abusive to the staff, shouting at them in the dinning room. For me this uncalled for and make dinners uncomfortable. Other wise my meal was good. read more

Shocked at great price great smell of food. They were packed and running out of food and more people were coming in. A warm atmosphere. The owner knew a lot of the customers so good clientele. Second time here. Good both times. Very popular, busy place. Took the grandkids yesterday, Valentine's Day, for pizza. Great pizza, for northern Georgia. The place was packed, but the wait was only about 15 minutes and we got 3 delicious pan pizzas served right away by a very pleasant waitress in a warm and pleasant atmosphere. I wish more restaurants were like this one. Makes me want to go back. read more

I've been eating at Georgio's for over 15 years. I'm impressed with the consistency of the food and the service. Servings are nice and big. You'll be hard pressed to finish a pasta dish by yourself. The home-cooking daily specials are wonderful. Just what the doctor ordered after a few days of eating fast food. This place is popular with regulars so can fill up fast at rush hours. Servers are friendly and rarely rattled by a large crowd. Always a pleasure coming here! read more

The food is always DELICIOUS!! I love the turkey/chicken and dressing the best. (Gotta have my cranberry sauce,too)The barbecue chicken comes in second. It has a great flavor and is always tender. The owners and staff always make me feel welcome and appreciated. Over the years I have enjoyed both dining in the restaurant and ordering take out meals. The food is always excellent, the portions are always generous and the prices are always affordable. I often bring friends with me to eat at Georgio's for the first time. The people there are very friendly which is a biggie for me and my wife. The waitresses are very friendly and always greet you when entering. cant think of any place that serves foods any better especially when all there are is hamburger joints around everywhere. The waitress is not as friendly as she use to be I guess it's because they are so busy. We we're there before a lot of the other people in the restaurant and we placed our order before everyone else but we still ended up waiting 25 minutes for our food. I really didn't understand why everyone was getting their food before us we had a simple order. Oh well like I told my husband I don't plan on going back there not unless he goes there. Not my choice now but maybe if they changed their customer service then I would love it there. The food is great though. read more

Good food great price. Dirties place I've ever seen. Floors look like they haven't been cleaned all day. Everything was sticky, napkin holders, condiments, even the menus were filthy. Hostess was standing around doing nothing with plenty of time to clean menus. It's like they don't care about cleanliness. I wonder how clean the kitchen is. read more

Good home cooked food in a small town atmosphere. The family-owned restaurant is quite busy with regular patrons and the daily specials provide quite a bit of food. The vegetable soup can be really great, though inconsistant and at times be filled with more pinto beans than anything else. Every dish is unique and freshly prepared. Once a regular, the owner's may indulge you with some creation not on the menu but prepared with their own special greek flare. It's all really good food. Though other's have raved about the coffee, my taste leans toward a bold cup of smooth, dark brew and this simply isn't available here. Otherwise, a definite must for anyone who likes home-cooking in a small town. read more
