Buyers Beware I…read morepurchased quartz from Stone Showcase in Buford, Georgia, for my kitchen. During the selection process, the representative was friendly and helpful, which gave me confidence in my decision. However, about two years ago, the quartz began to chip multiple times, not just once. Unsure how to handle it, I contacted my builder, who advised me to contact Stone Showcase directly. Unfortunately, that proved unproductive. When I visited the store, I spoke with Hillary, one of the managers, who asked whether I had completed the warranty paperwork. I explained that I had gone through my builder and never received any warranty documentation. Rather than offering a solution, she dismissed my concerns and told me I needed to contact the fabricator, even though the quartz itself came from their company. To make matters worse, this would likely mean additional cost on my end for a product that is clearly failing. The fabricator has not returned my calls, which has only added to my frustration. During my interaction, Hillary spoke to me in a condescending manner and implied the chipping on the edges of the countertop might be due to improper cleaning, handing me a care sheet as if that explained the issue. I chose quartz over granite specifically for its supposed durability, and from the recommendation of their sales rep., so this explanation was both disappointing and unconvincing. At this point, I'm left with damaged countertops and no resolution. Based on my experience and no resolution. Based on my experience, I would be very hesitant to do business with a company that does not stand behind its product or support its customers when issues arise. Overall: extremely poor customer service and lack of accountability.

They don't sell directly to the public, but the staff was friendly, greeted us quickly, asked us to sign a waiver before entering the warehouse, put bright yellow safety vests on us, showed us the selections that we thought we wanted (based on small samples and web site pictures), then also showed us some alternatives that worked even better with the cabinet samples we brought. There was no rush or sales pressure (again, they don't sell directly to the public). They even used an overhead crane to move a slab in just a few minutes so it was easier to see and compare to another slab. Kudos.

Southern Landscape Supply not only had the best prices but the lowest delivery charges. We decided to stop off to look at the products to ascertain the quality of the product and to verify which sand was the one for the job. Chris, the General Manager of the location, was there that Saturday and extremely helpful with advice on which product of theirs would be best for the job we were working on to get the best results. We originally requested delivery for the same date, which they could accommodate. After leaving we realized that we had a few projects to complete to make our project run more smoothly. We called to change delivery for to the next weekend. They were kind about our needing to delay the delivery and worked with us without any issues or attitude - in fact they were really friendly and understanding about the requested change for delivery date. The next weekend they let us know when the driver would be headed our way instead of just having him show up. The driver who delivered the sand was also fantastic -- he had to back down a hilled driveway and through a narrow gate to get the product as close to the area we needed it as possible. His great driving prevented us from wheelbarrowing two tons of sand all over creation. My back sends him my sincere gratitude too! Next time I will not call all over to get a price -- I will call Chris and the team at Southern Landscape Supply FIRST. They will be my go to for any of their products from here forward.

I…read morecontacted Armex to correct the issues and have been met with nothing but unprofessionalism and a complete disregard for my time/money. This company has shown that they have no integrity and no desire to assist their customers once they have your money. I have been blown off for weeks before even getting an appointment time to come perform repairs. When they did respond, the "only time" they had available was over a month away. I agreed, the day came and went with no one showing up or calling/communicating in any way that they would not show. I AGAIN had to contact them (twice) to even get a response and which was so pathetic that I was insulted enough to leave bad reviews everywhere I can think of. (advised 'last minute decisions based on no gas'- yet no call or correspondence until I initiate? come onnnn.) See my photos showing email dates and responses. Also, it's worth noting that the day of the installation I have on security camera footage that they broke my outdoor step leading up to my front door by resting the stone countertop on it. No one informed me of the damage they did, instead the owner Cristian and his worker just set the piece back on with a dollop of silicone-- which nearly anyone can tell you will not hold brick onto brick. So of course it fell off again after they left and I checked my camera to see what transpired. How little do you respect your customer to not even advise of damage you caused to their home? At this point I would rather just pay another respectable company to come repair the shotty countertop they installed, I don't even want these people near my home again.

Yet it is a beautiful looking operation from the outside and we continue to purchase their when the other yards don't have the products. Our other concern is that the team that works the property are not helpful and less congenial than ALL the other stone yards, and after this many years we have been to all of them. I guess you have to be a BIG customer for anyone to care. But why do I write this review now???? Well, for the second time in the last several weeks, we purchased a few pallets for $ 700+ dollars. We carefully picked up the product ourselves. As we continued installing a patio on a concrete base, we had a hard time finding good pieces of quality flagstone. OF course some cracked and smaller pieces are normal, but when over half the pallet is very damaged, it is very had to make a living with this ratio of bad stone and high prices. This was also the problem a few weeks ago. The other bad thing is that we have to pay our men to re stack it and then return it (that is time and money!) And of course there are signs everywhere, declaring no returns for partial pallets. This I think is fair, because everyone will bring back piles of broken stone. SO even with some returns accepted, it takes time..... BUT... the last but... I promise.... 700 dollars for a 50% waste???

PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE!…read more While driving in the area, we noticed a sign for Art Rock Creations. This shop specializes in fabricating countertops, (primarily quartz and granite), so we thought that we would stop in to see what they had to offer. We were immediately greeted by Walter who was our escort for the visit. He did a great job of introducing us to the various products they have available. We were able to go into the workshop to see the slabs and even take photos. Unfortunately, photos never do justice to beautiful stones or other materials as the color is just not as vibrant. However, I did take a photo of the name and description of the slabs that I liked for future reference. Prices are located directly on the products but do not include cutting the openings or specific types of details for finishing the edges. We gave him a rough estimate of measurements and he will be sending an estimate via e-mail. If you need a kitchen sink, they sell them here as well. Don't get caught up on the floors as I did because they are very cool yet very distracting. They have various materials laid on the floor as samples and I actually found a travertine design that I really like. They just allowed me to wander around freely looking at materials which at one point led into an office. The worker was very gracious in allowing me to check out the floor and take a photo. I have found that people are really quite generous if I simply tell them that I am nosy and want to have a closer look at something. Of course that's true and it's hard to look at countertop materials without considering the floor because they all have to relate to one another for a cohesive look. If you are looking for professionalism and great customer service, look no further because Art Rock Creations delivers!
