The facility is very nice and clean, however, the day I went, they were severely understaffed, one server for the entire floor. To the servers credit, she was very good and did not let the lack of staff affect how she serviced the floor. I would give my server five stars. Now let's talk about the food. Our order was taken correctly, and our ticket time was very good. It seemed like, everything that we ordered was frozen product that came out of a bag. We ordered two pork tenderloin sandwiches, one with macaroni and cheese, and the other with fried okra . We also ordered chicken livers with gravy for an appetizer. It was evident when the chicken livers came out that they were not fresh, they were frozen, pre-breaded and fried the breading, of course was falling off of them, the gravy was your standard white gravy mix with black pepper thrown in it. The okra was also frozen from a bag, the macaroni and cheese. if anything more than prepared from a box with some extra cheese added, it would surprise me. The pork tenderloin sandwiches, although not bad we're not what you would expect from a sit down restaurant. I'm pretty sure I can get the same product at Sam's. I would like to impress upon the reader, that for a sports bar, the atmosphere of this place is great, however, you cannot set yourself apart from your competition when your food isn't fresh, but frozen and coming out of a bag. I would like to say that I would be back, but I won't. I don't mean to beat this place up, I'm sure the owners have poured their lives into it, however, quality is important. Is it so hard to batter your own chicken livers and fry them or to bread your own okra and fry them? Homemade gravy is one of the easiest things to make and in every case taste so much better than any powdered mix! I mean a place that calls at Georgia Macs you would think would have an outstanding macaroni and cheese but alas, this is also not the case. I used to work here and recently, one of their employees passed away. It happened in the parking lot of my husbands club he manages...Rumors Cabaret. Their employee Jeff was waiting on an Uber and was attacked on the sidewalk, the door guy at rumors went outside, found jeff and immediately ran to get the manager (shaun wallace). My husband ran out to Jeff, checked his vitals and he had no pulse and shallow breathing so my husband immediately started CPR (he's a retired army medic) while someone called 911. my husband did CPR for 3 minutes straight until the ambulance arrived. Jeff survived 20 days because of my husband bringing him back. I have a pic posted of what made me leave this review. The owner was very unprofessional when all my husband did was try to save their employees life. Do not support a business where the owner speaks negatively of the man and business that helped their employee. RIP Jeff and I hope they catch those responsible and they are brought to Justice!! read more

We heard about the expanded outdoor seating area and came out to listen to the live entertainment. Initially we sat inside for cocktails and food. Our waiter was disengaged however the service was adequate. The food was good but it was luke-warm. When the entertainment began it was too loud and we couldn't hear to have a conversation plus it was freezing inside. We moved outside. It was a cool evening (low 70's and low humidity). Our new waiter, Adam, was awesome! His service was excellent and had a fun, interactive personality. We couldn't hear the music so I propped the pedestrian door open and it was very enjoyable for about 10 minutes...until the owner came over to remove the prop and utter that she wasn't paying to a/c the outside in a very gruff and unprofessional way. (Outside temp was 70 and inside thermostat was set to 67). Will try it again in hopes of improvement. read more

What a great new restaurant/bar in Southeast Springfield. This was the old Cody's South location that has been completely renovated into a fresh new establishment. The adult beverages are generous and cold. The food is southern comfort food with a great selection of burgers. I have had several items on the menu and the chicken fried steak served with green beans and mashed potatoes with white gravy was just like grandma would have made. For something lighter the Cajun Salad with blackened chicken and shrimp was off the charts. I could go on and on about Georgia Mac's, but you be the judge and give it a try for yourself. I was a bit skeptic since there were only 8 reviews for this restaurant but we gave it a try on a Friday night around 8 pm. The place was busy and we enjoyed the live music by Chris May. I was super excited by the Keto menu--never have seen a Keto menu before at a restaurant! (Though any Keto dieter knows you can adapt at almost any restaurant). I ordered a lettuce wrap burger and grilled veggies--both were good. My daughters split a generous portion of hand breaded chicken strips that looked amazing. They said they were delicious. Customer service is awful do not go here to eat the staff will treat you like trash and ignore you. I sat in here for 20 minutes waiting for a menu. Waitress said she would be right back with a menu and proceeded to disappear and even was helping the tables by me. The burger was too well done after ordering rare...we ordered roasted veggies and received particularly raw broccoli.

I guess I should leave a disclaimer on this review. I did not eat inside the restaurant, my meal was take out. So if the saff or the environment or the atmosphere is amazing, it might add another star, but my review is based on just the food alone. I ordered BLFGT, which was actually really good. It's a BLT served with a fried green tomato, and even after getting my food to go, the tomato with still 1000ﾟ. It would also be nice if they spread out the slices. I know that's so minor, but it saves one big chunk of fried tomato in the middle of your sandwich. It also called for their special sauce, which looks kind of like mustard but the other flavors were so strong I couldn't quite tell what it was. My side was the cheesy corn, and it was disappointing. It would be fine if you've got a plain eater, because it has no spice or no pizzazz to it at all. It's basically canned corn with a spoonful or 2 of sauce and a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top.I would really like them to revisit this recipe lol. Another minor suggestion I might make is for them to get the pre packaged plastic silverware with a napkin inside. When I got my food brought to me, I had a knife and fork but no napkins. And it's not like my sandwich was the cleanest thing to eat, so a napkin would have been nice. That could be the fault of the person who brought me my food, or just a little tweak... but it was an inconvenience. I did notice that the menu here seems pretty solid for the most part. The only reason I didn't give it one star is the staff is friendly. Probably the worst food I have had in Springfield. On the first trip I had the shrimp and grits based on the servers recommendation, awful, shrimp was rubbery and the grits had no flavor at all. Second trip I had wings based on friends recommendation, wings were slimy and undercooked. There won't be a third trip. read more

Went for dinner and to watch the football game. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich, and it was one of the best I've had. It really needed two buns, instead of just the one it came with, it was that big. Everything else all my friends were eating looked just as good, and they said it was. Really wanted to like this place. Came before 3 on a Saturday. Place was decently full. Waitress came right over, brought us water, asked if we were hungry - we said we were starving! - and said she would be right back to take our order, even though we were ready to order then. She proceeded to wait on everyone else, make several drinks, talk to friends, clean the bar, organize straws, etc. never came back to take our order. After waiting 20 minutes, we didn't want to give this place our money anyway. You all should hire someone a little more mature and that knows how to waitress. I have been a waitress and never forgot a table - and this place is too small to forgot a table- but if I did, I would come over and apologize instead of keep ignoring them. read more

Pleasant surprise on the south side. Came here for lunch. My wife had chicken fried steak, I had GM burger. Both excellent. Will definitely come back.
