Stayed here for 4 nights recently, and it was a great stay. I have to say that EVERYONE at the front desk was ALWAYS super friendly and warm. We had the corner room with the kitchenette, and it was roomy, clean and comfortable. I do have to mention that it is pretty noisy outside between the cars, motorcycles, planes, etc. If you are a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend this room/hotel. The breakfast was very good with different breads, oatmeal, cereals, fruit, etc. Good quality teas and coffee available at all times. Great perk of FREE laundry and they even give you a laundry detergent pod for free too. Thank you! Unfortunately we had very spotty Wi-Fi in the room. I had to go to the lobby to use my laptop effectively. I told the girl at the front desk, and she said she would look into it, but it never got better. :( read more

Not familiar with Seattle - I chose by good old Yelp. Many reviews led me here. Let's go alittle backwards. Breakfast Not the usual - Costco muffins loaded with sugar, white flour and preservatives and a hearty tea trying to be passed off as coffee. Nope - organic, delicate fresh muffins from ?? bakery - just wonderful. Yogurt parfaits in perfectly measured portions for those of us who don't want to eat a lot. Fresh fruit, juice, coffee (REAL coffee), and a wide selection of teas, muffins, FRESH granola, parfaits.....oh just good food. Room: I had the King room. Nothing fancy just basics, even the alarm clock just an alarm clock. Bathroom accomodations fine and CLEAN. Lots to be said for cleanliness. Bathroom soaps are from "Pharmacopia". And, the nice sheets, with light down comforter, and exceptional pillows are great. Area: I am here on travel. So small stopover before I head home later today. Will I come back - oh yeah. On business travel - I'd love to come back here. The street is busy but there are ear plugs in the bathroom with cotton balls & swabs. I walked over to Starbucks, across the street, and discovered (2) restaurants. Overall: It's a very thoughtful hotel. The staff is delightful. Anthony's smiling face and the sweetness this am over breakfast is heart-warming. I feel like the staff is genuinely proud of this establishment and want your stay to be safe, warm & comfy! If that was your goal - you've achieved it!!! Thank you!!! I will see you again. read more

I liked this place, especially for the price, however there are some things to note. Cons: We were put in room 315, right across from the elevators. Its an old building, the walls are thin, it sounded like the people were in our room with us when they walked by. Also we were on the side of the building facing the busy street, also noise from the nearby Boeing Field. Tip: Bring earplugs! Because its an older building, old pipes = toilet troubles. Not an issue to the point of moving rooms, but something to keep in mind. Pros: The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfy, the water pressure in shower was good, the jetted tub was very relaxing. The breakfast (although basic) was open til 11am! And coffee and tea was available 24 hours. The women at the front desk was very friendly and refilled our water bottles so we didn't need to purchase waters from the vending machines. We also got a later check out. Location was a little rundown, but Airport Way was within walking distance and had restaurants and breweries. Overall, I'd stay here again but I'd ask for a room further from the elevators! read more

Nice hotel. Very clean. Great location - 5 Fwy is 1/2 a block away. The place to stay in Georgetown. read more

Good value for the price. We stayed one night while passing through Seattle. Small, definitely nothing fancy, but everything was very clean, comfortable, and updated. Room smelled like B.O., but I'm sure that wasn't the hotel's fault :) The area is a little sketchy, so we made sure to get all our stuff out of the car and had no problems. Staff was courteous and helpful. The light continental breakfast was very fresh and tasty. We'd recommend, but only if you have a car. It's not close enough to downtown to be worth trying to coordinate public transportation, IMO. read more

Awesome little inn right off of the freeway and walking distance to restaurants, breweries and funky little shops. The hotel itself is very eclectic from the decor to the music they play in the lobby, for me personally this is a great thing. Rooms were spacey for the price. I was quoted $149 to stay at a Travelodge and this place was less expensive than that. Our particular room had a kitchenette which not all the rooms had. The room itself was very clean, it is in an industrial section but despite that and the proximity to the freeway I did not hear much outside noise. The personnel was very friendly and professional. They do offer a simple breakfast every morning. If you are looking for a quick bite before heading out for the day you can find something to hold you over until you reach your next destination. read more

As others have said, a reasonable priced motel with a central location. Room was nice, coffee and breakfast were good. Very pleasant front desk people. Appreciated the effort to be Georgetown hip. read more

Stayed there for 2 nights. Slept pretty well there. We enjoyed the morning breakfast. Free parking is a must for us. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. In fact, we walked down the back street for dinner. Behind the Inn is a hip little strip for a little night life. read more

This review is way past due... I stayed at the Georgetown Inn for 4-5 months in 2016 and found it to be an exceptional place to stay for someone who doesn't need all the "bells and whistles" that a more pricier place may offer. The inn is well maintained and clean, a courteous staff, (all though, some are a little sensitive?), great management, (Richard, who treats you like a good friend), and has many perks that I found attractive for my stay...Their parking, the great continental breakfast, and plenty of "Seattle" pamphlets / information at your finger tips, plus music serenading thru the lobby...Rooms were comfortable, with OK bedding, kitchenets, and a desk top and cable included. The price for rooms was reasonable. All said, I was a great place for my stay in Seattle and would be comfortable staying there again.. read more

Nice little hotel. Clean, convenient right off the freeway, reasonably priced. Staff is super friendly. Our queen bed was more like a full, even after we asked to make sure, which was weird. They provided a pack n play for our baby which was very helpful. The view of a rooftop wasn't great and outside was noisy maybe because of construction? Would definitely stay here again on a budget. read more

We traveled to Seattle for a cruise, and arrived the night before. Aiming to stay in hotel partway between the airport and the port, this hotel was exactly what I wanted. Clean throughout, a comfortable bed, friendly staff, and a great continental breakfast included - breads, English muffins, a wide variety of spreads (jams, Nutella, Almond butter, jellies, etc.), bagels, freshly made fruit parfaits, fruit, cereals, oatmeal packets, juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. It feels in line with the overall character of Seattle. They compost everything (utensils and plates included) from breakfast! A perfect start to our vacation; we wished we could stay longer but would definitely recommend to others. You're only about 20 minutes south of the city. read more

My boyfriend and I were visiting family for a week and decided that the $80.00/night wasn't that bad. I mean, we were going to spend most of our time out sight seeing with the fam, so where you sleep shouldn't matter, right? Well, we had a late check-in (midnight to be precise), which was no problem for the staff. The neighborhood, however, wasn't all that great at night. I was in a hurry to get into the hotel and settled in. but as soon as we got into the lobby, it reminded me of where i work, which is a medical facility, i felt like i was checking in for a medical exam or something. there are signs everywhere asking you to watch your step and to be careful. When we got to our room, it was...ok. It smelled faintly of un-dusted furniture. The bed was plywood with sheets on top. the pillows felt like they lost their stuffing and there were only two, one for each of us. call me spoiled but i like to have two for myself. There are no asian-influenced decor in the room at all. don't believe what their website tells you. when i woke up, my neck was sore and my back was in pain. we had both decided to find another hotel to check into. the free continental breakfast was offered in the main lobby (they didn't have a separate breakfast area. it was two tables in between the reception area and the main door. we didn't partake in breakfast, just got out of there and into a softer bed in a nicer hotel. sometimes you do get what you pay for. read more

It's a great place! The structure has it's old feeling (with an actual key for the rooms) but the front desk support is awesome.. Conveniently close to a shell gas station and even a Starbucks but who needs it, the hotel has 24hrs free coffee and tea.. :) breakfast is decent.. Muffins, bagels, cereals - basic continental breakfast. Rooms are well maintained and bathrooms are clean.. They have a basic gym and sauna.. Plus laundry is free! :) read more

We love the Georgetown! We stay here through the VA. We usually get a king bed and it has just the right firmness. The room is always clean and fresh. It is in an industrial area but it's quirky and fun. Lots of awesome coffee(all city coffee), antiques, arts and clothing stuff (mighty big man) to look at and the food is good too. Staff is very friendly and helpful and willing to go out of their way. We love it. We don't do the breakfast because of my husband's allergies but it seems like a pretty nice spread. They give me milk at night whenever I ask. And they have a free washer and dryer as well. It is always clean the staff is always willing to help you with a place to eat. We walk all over at night and have never had any problems. read more

Excellent and affordable hotel located in the artsy and authentically-Seattle neighborhood of Georgetown. Close to all major Seattle attractions. The Georgetown Inn is also one block away from a number of cool cafés, bars, restaurants, bookstores and music shops. The room we stayed in was impeccable and very comfortable. The service was warm and friendly. Every single person we encountered at the front desk was incredibly helpful and attentive, and they offered plenty of suggestions about the area. Especially awesome was Richard. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. They even have Stumptown and Fonte coffee (the best)! There is also free laundry. This is the only hotel I will be staying at when I go to Seattle, which I hope will be more often. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to the Emerald City. read more

What a horrible place. I called to make a reservation on a Wednesday evening for the upcoming Friday night. I told the guy over the phone that it would be me and my husband and our 2 children. He told us they only had a king suite with a hot tub available. We figured that would be a large enough room and we could make due because there weren't very many rooms available that weekend due to some events happening in Seattle. When we arrived on Friday night at 9:30 PM, after hours on the road with two children we were told that the room we had booked could only have 2 people in it but that they had a 2 double bed room available but it would be at an additional charge. I asked why we would be charged for something that was clearly their mistake since they allowed us to book the king in the first place. The guy behind the counter had no authority to do anything and was forced to call the manager. The "manager" said, sorry, the price was firm for the double room. My husband said, fine, but understand this type of bad customer service would not get them good reviews. The guy behind the counter said, "Oh, well, I hadn't thought about that, let me talk to the manager again." So he called the manager again and my husband was given the phone so he could talk directly to the manager. The manager a that point told my husband that the double room that had been offered to us and confirmed at the higher price by him only minutes earlier was actually not available and that we would have to find another place to stay. 10:00 PM...family of 4 with 2 children, exhausted from the road, with a reservation...turned away over essentially $30. I sincerely hope it was worth it to them. We ended up at the Red Lion downtown where we were treated to dinner and they paid for our parking because of the trouble we had gone through with this place and how exhausted we all were. I would strongly recommend spending a few more dollars and stay at a place that respects their customers and understands the meaning of true customer service. Thanks to the Red Lion, a HORRIBLE experience with the Georgetown Inn turned into a FABULOUS evening. read more

We recently stayed at the Georgetown Inn while visiting Seattle. Our room, with a queen bed and a small kitchenette, was just about $115/night. We were able to use our Triple A discount, so the regular price would be about $20-30 more. You certainly can't beat that price for a hotel only about 10 minutes from downtown Seattle. We drove our own car into the heart of the city, but there were buses available as well for those sans vehicle. My only two minor cons to this location: -It's located right next to a recycling center, so it's quite noisy during the day. This is really only a problem if you plan to spend time in the hotel in the morning and afternoon, as it wasn't running at night. It's right on the street, so without a fan running you can hear the cars outside as well. -The wi-fi was really spotty. We were only able to connect about half the time. Again, this is only a big deal if you need to be checking email or want to watch some videos, and we were busy enough that we really just wanted to keep in touch with family at home. The pros make up for it!: -Super staff! They were so friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we realized that we had booked a king-bed/jacuzzi room that we just didn't need. The staff happily found us a cheaper room and changed our reservation for no charge. Their positive attitude made us feel relaxed and happy to be supporting their business. -Price and location. Pretty hard to top unless you're willing to pay for a hotel downtown. It took us about ten minutes to and from Pike's Place in the car. You also get free parking, which is a huge bonus. -Georgetown is a fantastic little area of Seattle. I loved the industrial nature of it. You can walk past the old Georgetown Bottling Company which is really well preserved in the original brick. There are plenty of restaurants and bars along Airport Way (I highly recommend Stellar Pizza). We only got to a few of them during our stay and I'd love to check out more the next time we're in town. -Each room has a heat and a/c unit that also allows for just a fan to be on. This helped tremendously with the heat and the noise from the traffic during the night. -The kitchenette allowed us to keep leftovers in the fridge and heat up coffee in the microwave in the morning. It had a small stove that we didn't use but with some planning you could eat all your meals in the hotel and save your money for the museums and attractions! -The staff provides a basic continental breakfast with cereal, pastries, fruit coffee, and tea. Overall I felt that the deal combined with the staff made this hotel an excellent choice for Seattle tourists. I know we'll be returning for our next stay! read more

We recently went on a #WestCoastTour14 and ended our trip in Seattle. Our last night in town we stayed here. The price was right, parking was included, and the rooms looked nice. When we got there, coffee was free and the guy behind the counter was almost too nice! The hotel is non-smoking. This is key. When we got to our room, it smelled like smoke! We called, the staff came to verify, and we were upgraded. The new room was HUGE, had a kitchen, and was an awesome upgrade. A great way to end our trip. Oh, and they had coffee in the lobby. Great location, too. I'm a fan! read more

We made our decision to stay at the Georgetown Inn based on all of the positive reviews this hotel has on Yelp and other websites plus the fact that they were very affordable. They accommodated us before check-in, after check out, and all throughout our 7-night stay. Rich and all of the staff working there are so friendly, helpful, accommodating, and their customer service is beyond excellent and impeccable. Upon our initial arrival, we found a fellow foodie in Rich who recommended us great places to eat around Georgetown and in the Seattle metropolitan area. Our room was clean, we had free wifi, the bed was comfortable, and despite facing the busy intersection of Bailey and Corson, it was very quiet. I appreciated the fact that they were replacing their carpet while we were there so you know they are working hard on taking care of this hotel. The one thing which I feel that needs to be disclosed and is completely out of their control is that they are next door to a marijuana medical dispensary, so you may occasionally smell weed in the hallways and elevator. We had no problem in our room (although I think we were located furthest from the clinic). Anyway, they have the best continental breakfast spread I've ever seen and had. Their blueberry and apple/cinnamon muffins are so delicious and so was their raisin and apple/cinnamon breads. They have good looking whole grain bread, English muffins, freshly squeezed orange juice, cereal, granola, bananas, oranges, and apples. They have complimentary Stumptown Coffee 24 hours, which my husband who drinks 12-16 cups of coffee a day commented how good it was and how it was always hot. They are very conveniently located to 5 bus lines. The closest were bus lines 106, 124, and 60 and were about a 5 minute walk east of the hotel. The other two bus lines were the 131 and 132 and were about a 7-10 minute walk west of the hotel. The 106 and 124 were the ones we used the most since they went straight through to downtown and is about a 15 minute bus ride to get to Pike Place Market in Downtown. I don't know why the previous reviewer warned people you get dropped off and picked up in an underground tunnel, which is not true. You get picked up/dropped off at a regular bus stop. The 106 will go through an underground tunnel at certain stops in downtown, but only for a few stops. I would definitely recommend this hotel in a heartbeat! I only wish I could take this hotel and their staff with me on all of our travels. read more

Really friendly staff, gave us a lower rate than expected. Super clean, easy (free) parking.

We stayed again at the Georgetown Inn on May 8th, 2015. First I have to say that the personal touch from the management and everyone working there is fantastic! They treated my wife and I like family. So I absolutely give 5 stars to Georgetown Inn on customer service and beyond. This time I selected the suite with a hot tub to give my wife a special Mothers Day getaway. The suite was wonderful, every appliance, TV, and piece of furniture seem new and beautiful. The hot tub had a souvenir rubber duck next to it, which my wife thought was adorable. The quality of the suite was great! The complimentary breakfast was varied, healthy, and delicious. The coffee was amazing! Like I said in my first review of the Georgetown Inn, this is the best value near downtown Seattle...Period! Right in the middle of artsy Georgetown, My wife and I walked to galleries, bars, outdoor coffee shops, and the famous "Art Attack" fest, which happens like once a month. In addition to that, the hotel is near SODO, and is an easy 5-10 minute drive to Safeco Field and Century Link, Pioneer Square, and other Seattle attractions. If you are planning to stay in Seattle but cannot afford the ridiculous prices of downtown hotels (avg. $250 and up per night), then come to Georgetown Inn. Quality, price, kind, welcoming staff, this place has it all. This is a real review from a customer who has stayed there twice in the past six months and plans to return often. I am just super exited to have found Georgetown Inn to take my wife away for a weekend every once in a while. We can't wait to go back. read more

This is absolutely the best value coupled with great service and just the friendliest staff ever. Had family in town who enjoyed staying here far more than the expensive waterfront hotel downtown they stayed in previously. Here, you're only 10 minutes from downtown and it's easy to get to and from the hotel and I-5. The neighborhood looks a little rough and tumble but it's fine. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to town. read more

I cannot speak to the state of the hotel. I can speak of the extremely rude front desk worker Anthony. The charge to the room was booked on hotels.com. This room had been booked for an employee traveling to WA with my card. However the charge went to my employee's card he used to check in. I called to talk about the problem and was met with a man mocking me about asking questions and needing help and called me a "bitch" because I was being rude by asking for a bill with the correct information on it. When I asked Anthony why my person was not told at check in he simply said it's on the website that we don't so I should "go read that". When my personb checked in there was not payment verification process as it says they will do upon check in. Nor does it say anything on their website about not accepting 3rd party payments. The receipt/invoice I received has that my cc was charged (it was not). I have not been able to get a correct receipt/invoice that is itemized with the correct information. read more

I love the Georgetown Inn! I have to travel to Seattle about once a month for work and this is the best hotel I have found for my work travel. Incredibly affordable, comfortable, clean and locally owned, friendly staff and conveniently located just south of Seattle make it perfect for me in every way when I am in Seattle. They always have a room when I need one and when my husband comes along, we can upgrade to the suite for a small price that is well worth it for a huge room with a full kitchen and separate bedroom and jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. My work takes me to the industrial area. Found this motel in desperation while at the Starbucks across the street. Not many choices if your trying to be close to the client and not pay $175/night. Selling my place in South Park so needed a base of operations while I was in the area getting it ready, and Georgetown Inn totally surprised me as a high quality place at a reasonable price. Best features were the comfy bed - super firm and comfy, great staff, better than the usual hotel art, and the very green breakfast spread. Not green as in kale (yuk) and spinach, but just that everything is compostable and the spread - modest as it was - was just fine. Also, the staff were very friendly without being overly aggressive like in some hotels. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed each of the staff. Great find and I will stay there next time I'm visiting Seattle! I booked this hotel for my trip to Seattle based on the reviews I read on Yelp. I'm so happy I did. Georgetown is an industrial area with a very cool, up and coming artsy area. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The area is noisy when you are outside, but my compainion and I kept commenting how quiet it was in the room. I shared a double room with a friend and it didn't face the recycling area. While not a 5-star hotel, the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was larger than my bathrooms at home and supplied with extra towels. The beds were very comfy. Breakfast was great, we loved the whole grain bread. If you rent a car, then no trouble getting into downtown. We used public transportation which was easy, just took longer to get to the tourist areas and downtown.
