Two months ago I hit a deer, dealing with the insurance company was only half the problem afterwards, picking Georgetown Collision was easy because I had heard good things about them but in all honestly it may have been a mistake. When I got my car back there were still parts that weren't fixed, my radiator included. A man at the collision shop told us that the insurance said they won't cover it because it was pre-existing damage. The check engine light was also on, the engine keeps getting too hot and as of right now I'm stuck with a dead car because for whatever reason the battery is now bad, bear in mind I just got this car last spring and it's not an old model. My biggest problem with Georgetown Collision was their communication or lack there of. We had no idea they wouldn't be replacing this part until we got the car back. So now it's going to be like starting the whole process of getting it in a shop all over again when it could have been taken care of while my car was still in the shop. And almost every time I called I was told someone would get back to me at the end of the day but no one ever did, I ended up having to drive up there at one point after my car being there for 2 months and after continuously getting promises of my car being ready on soecific dates but then being let down time and time again. They were all nice which I appreciated, they also have a cat there so that's cool. All in all, getting in a wreck sucks, dealing with insurance afterwards also sucks, then not having a vehicle and trying to keep a job without a rental REALLY sucks and it just would have been nice if the guys and gals over at Georgetown Collision could have communicated with me better it would have made things a hell of a lot easier. Also I'll say that I understand they kept promising be dates for it to be ready because that's what they were expecting but I was promised dates many times and let down many times and I just wish they would have told me they didn't know if they didn't know. I was never rushing anybody and I always made that clear to them I was always simply just wondering. The near two months it took to fix it aren't what really upset me, it was having to get my hopes up then get let down and trying to talk to someone was like pulling teeth. I appreciate the work they did, I'd recommend them (with warning though). Just make sure you have all your T's crossed and I's dotted because I'm young and I don't have a lot of experience with this stuff so it was hard to get through it without feeling like I was being taken advantage of a little bit. Maybe no ones really to blame for that and it's just the way it is but still. It was not fun. Also, they did make sure to use all new and original parts which is the biggest reason as to why I would recommend them, it was great that they were able to do that. My family and I have had the most disappointing and unfortunate experience with Fullerton Collision Center. Their website's statements and the reviews on there were completely misleading. My vehicle has been in Fullerton's possession for the past four months. They provided me an estimated time of completion of 2.27.18, and I was only advised yesterday that my vehicle was finally completed, and only because I had to file a complaint with the BBB. Fullerton completely ignored all of my requests for updates on my vehicle over the course of months, as well as others I had reaching out on my behalf. They did, in the beginning, seem apologetic for their gross neglect of doing their job and advised that because they weren't finished with my vehicle by the time they had advised, they were going to provide a rental for me and my family. Over the course of several weeks, I continued to ask for updates on my vehicle (I was always told they would get back with me if I was even able to get a reply) as well as advise that Hertz, (the company through which they provided the rental), kept contacting me that the vehicle was overdue. Fullerton's employee handling the matter advised that the rental was being extended and was fine, that these calls were just automated. It wasn't until an "Investigator" contracted by Hertz corporation advised that if I didn't return the vehicle, it would be reported stolen, that Fullerton's credit card had been declined and the rental had never been extended beyond the original due date. He also advised that Fullerton had told him that they had told me I was to return the vehicle or be responsible for extending it, however, the local Hertz corporation sent me verification that the Fullerton employee who continued to lead me to believe the issue was being handled had attempted to make payment, which was declined, and was supposed to call back with a different form of payment (and of course they never did, so the rental was returned and my family and I have been without a vehicle since.) Also, now, out of what I can assume is only retaliation for my filing the BBB complaint, Fullerton is trying to say that I owe them the deductible, which I was advised was going to be waived in the beginning and signed their contract accordingly. I would strongly advise against dealings with this business. I would not want anybody to have an experience such as this. It is a shame that this company does not wish to be accountable for how poorly they handled the process of working on my vehicle. read more

I am in Hutto, Texas - not California! This is for Georgetown Collision - the noticeable commercial you hear on the radio from SCOTT STARKS or whatever his last name is. Dolly and Lydia were great to work with. That was the best part about Georgetown Collision. First of all, they DO NOT WAIVE your deductible! They only waive $250 and if your damage is more than $2500, they will go up to $500. I decided to try them because my deductible is 1k and sure enough, the deductible WAS NOT waived! Second, they kept my car for just over 60 days! Yikes! They did mention in their call back it could take that long with no real explanation. I'm just glad I had a spare vehicle to use, otherwise I would have paid a lot for a rental! Of course they did not offer one. Third, I was so happy when Lydia delivered my car! They do mention that they have a concierge service. This is also 100% NOT TRUE! It depends on if they have the people or man power to assist. This is not a guaranteed service as mentioned in the commercial. So of course, there was a wind noise coming from the door they repaired. They also missed about an inch of paint on the door frame! They kept it for over 2 months, how could they miss these obvious things??? So I took it back and they worked on it for about another 2-3 weeks. I asked if they could drop off the car and they stated they do not have the man power to do so! So I had to make 4 total trips to and from the business! It is located way in north Georgetown or just north of Georgetown. I expected a lot more from this place. Here is a quick recap to help others decide on weather or not to try Georgetown Collision (which is actually north of Georgetown). * Scott Starks, shame on you! Your commercial is VERY misleading. You DO NOT waive the deductible. Please update your commercial! * They DO NOT provide concierge service. This is only available if THEY have the people to provide the service. This review is for Georgetown Collision. I am writing this to maybe stop others from going through what I went through. Lydia - thank you for scheduling my repairs. You were great to work with but the rest is mainly for Scott Starkes and the techs that worked on my car. Scott Starkes - SHAME ON YOU ! Your advertisement is false and misleading. You did not waive my deductible and you did not provide concierge service as you advertise on your commercial. I expected a lot more out of this company and you did not deliver. I took my car in on April 12, 2022 and just got it back around September 12, 2022. Almost 5 months! Luckily we had a spare car to use so I did not have to pay for a rental. I had to take it back a total of 3 times, yes 3 times to have it corrected! This was to repair the passenger door. The first time I got it back, I noticed wind noise right away when I started driving it. I noticed a small section of the inside frame of the door that was missed or ignored and not painted! The second time I bought it back, I did not notice the damage was STILL there. They parked the car backwards in the parking lot to where the damaged side was facing the other side. I don't know if they did this on purpose or not, but I did not see the damage when I picked it up. So I had to take it back a second time! Concierge service WAS NOT OFFERED - SHAME ON YOU SCOTT STARKES! The photos are how they returned the car to me. Make sure you have someone go over the repairs with you when you pick up your vehicle. The third trip was to repair the damage they totally ignored or just decided not to do the repair. When I picked it up for the third time, the car was clean and looked good. But 3 times and 5 months? Concierge service WAS NOT OFFERED - SHAME ON YOU SCOTT STARKES. I was intrigued by your energetic commercial which is obviously false. I heard about Georgetown Collision on the radio and was intrigued by their "waive your deductible" option, as I have a high deductible. I read most of the reviews and saw a few commonalities. "Poor communication" and "Long repair times" and the fact that the shop allegedly "bought their good reviews" were common themes, but they also seemed to have mostly positive reviews on the actual repairs, so I decided to take the chance. I'm glad I did. My deductible was higher than most (they guarantee at least $500 waived), so they could only waive 75% but that was still acceptable for my budget. The entire repair took about 3 weeks. Given the fact that I know insurance adjusters have to be contacted and parts have to be ordered, this was reasonable. They were 2 days longer on the repair than they had expected, this was also reasonable to me. I will admit that their communication isn't the best in terms of calling and getting updates quickly, but I did get an email update every 3-4 days with any updates to the ETA. This was enough for me. As the ETA neared the end, I would call and get updates on the phone. Phone response wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't terrible. As far as "buying their good reviews". That is absolute B.S. and any review that says that is an absolute disgruntled liar. Yes, part of my deductible waiving was agreeing to write this review, but all they ask is for HONEST REVIEWS. If my experience was crap, I'd have no problem telling you now, with no consequence from Georgetown Collision. My truck looks beautiful again. The quality of repairs literally exceeded my expectations, partially because I was constantly expecting this place to be "Too Good To Be True". Hopefully I never need them again, but if I do... Though I rarely write reviews, there are times when one is certainly earned. This is definitely the case with Georgetown Collision (GC). I have to admit that their customer service and attention to detail left me in disbelief since I was not expecting such exceptional service. When I first called, I had the pleasure of speaking with Dolly who asked a list of questions relating to my vehicle and explained the process. Once I visited the collision center, I was greeted by Bevo, and Dolly had all the paperwork ready for us to go over. As soon as everything was signed, Joe graciously drove me to the rental company. Unfortunately, there was an issue with my car rental, and I had to reach back out to GC to explain the situation. Not long after, Joe reappeared and truly saved me. By the time we arrived back to the collision center, my car had been washed since it had already been marked with highlighters for the insurance adjuster. Despite the unfortunate rental situation, they were very understanding and accommodating. A couple of days later, and after my insurance had sorted everything out with the car rental company, I went back to GC, and Rainy, who remembered me from my original visit, drove me down to the car rental company. Throughout the entire repair process, I received numerous updates which I also appreciated. Once the pickup date arrived, I had the pleasure of meeting Tyler, alongside his impeccable customer service skills. He picked me up from the rental company and drove me to GC where Amanda was waiting to surprise me with their incredible work. To say that I was pleased with GC is an understatement. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend GC to anyone since they not only take pride on their work but represent the customer service that is now rarely found. The worst Customer Service I have ever received!!! I went there on December 17th with a broken mirror on passenger side door. They said they had to order the mirror but I needed to pay in full before they would order. I stupidly did that. Then told me that the mirror would probably be in on Friday the 21st. I asked if I should leave the car there then. They said no because they would be closed from Dec 22 until Jan 7th. They would call when the mirror arrived and schedule then. Did not bother to let me know before I paid about the long closed period. I did not hear from them on Friday the 21st or Monday the 7th. I called on Monday the 7th in the afternoon as was rudely told that the person I needed to speak with was in a meeting and she would get back to me later that afternoon or the next morning. 24 hours later - still no return call. At this point my daughter's car has been without a mirror for 3 weeks and for safety, we won't let her drive it. I called on Tuesday and told them that I was no longer going to authorize the charge on my credit card and I would take the car somewhere else. Still no one calls to try work anything out. The next day I take my car elsewhere and they order the mirror and get it in and installed in 1 day and I didn't have to pay for it before they ordered it. Paid for it at completion. I find the charge from Georgetown Collision and call and tell them I want a refund. They call me back 2 days later to say they will not issue a refund because it was a special order mirror. I have opened a dispute with my credit card. Do not do business with this company unless you want to be ripped off, lied to and treated horribly. If I could rate less than 1 star I would. read more

We chose them because my husband had heard an advertisement on KVET regarding waiving the deductible for repairs. They will waive the deductible if we write honest and fair reviews. The folks are all very nice and approachable up to, and including, the owner. We were initially told it should take around 2 weeks for the work to be completed. We dropped off our truck on 04/16/2019, thinking we would get it back around the first week of May. Due to weather issues complicating the painting, we picked up the truck on 05/13/2019. Also, if you are working with an insurance company, just be aware that there WILL be delays - repair shop might have to send supplemental things for adjuster approval, part orders, part shipping, etc. Here is a little more of a breakdown of our situation so you'll know what to expect. Pros: 1. Very friendly and responsive staff 2. Owner very approachable and stands behind the work they do. 3. It's great that they're willing to waive the deductible - that's a HUGE help when you're getting a vehicle repaired. 4. Their staff does a great job - the truck looks great Cons: 1. Although the staff is responsive and will call back quickly, they don't always have an answer to your question when they return the call, requiring another call. I think that process could be handled a little better. 2. Because they have ads out that they will waive the deductible, they are a VERY busy shop. Plan accordingly because the lobby and employees are busy and you may have a bit of a wait. Bottom line, if you give them time, they will take good care of your vehicle and have it looking awesome when it's returned to you. read more

On September 12th at 6:20am a large tree fell on my car, the damage was mostly on the hood, but the left headight and the left and right front fenders both had some damage. After speaking to my insurance company on September 26th I took my vehicle to Georgetown Collision. I was told the vehicle would be ready in about 30 days. During the time of waiting for my vehicle I was updated with frequent e-mails. On October 25th my car was ready but upon Gerogetown Collision inspecting it they wanted to correct something and kept it over the weekend. I was told definitely on October 28th I could get the vehicle. I worked till 5pm that day and was not able to get there until 6pm. Gerogetown Collision arranged to wait for me to arrive, they close at 5:30pm. When I got there I saw a couple of flaws in the paint, when I pointed them out immediately they had two workers stay and correct the problem. I don't know of anywhere that would be willing to stay after hours and wait for a customer to arrive and then pay overtime to two employees to fix the problem. When I got inside my vehicle I noticed they had vaccummed out the inside of my car and had placed in the front floorboards to protect the carpet. I feel my car was well taken care of. If I ever had to have work done on my car I would not hesitate to go back there and have them fix my car again. Also they only use OEM parts on their repairs. I don't want used parts on my vehicle so this is important to me. If you need your vehicle repaired you should think about going to Georgetown Collision. Our van was hit by an uninsured driver who gave the officers false information at the time of the accident and it took us two months to straighten things out with our insurance. By the time we arrived at Georgetown Collision, I just wanted my car fixed and to be done with this situation. From the initial phone call, they were amazing and flexible. Everyone in the office was helpful and thorough at drop off. They were upfront about the timeline to fix our van, and you could tell by the parking lot they were very busy. They let us know what to expect in terms of communication and the best ways to reach them on busy days. We received periodic updates, and our van was ready on the day it was estimated to be complete. They even stayed late for us to pick it up. The exterior damage to our van was repaired seamlessly. You'd never know it happened. The van was washed and interior detailed, it looked nicer than when we bought it. We discovered a few things off with the door once we started driving around. They were things that you wouldn't notice without having a family in and out of the car multiple times. I emailed Georgetown Collision about it, and even over the holiday weekend, someone replied to me within the hour. They picked my van up from my work parking lot, repaired the problem, and had it back in my parking spot before the end of the work day. We are thankful to have our van back in working order, and had a great experience at Georgetown Collision. They are a busy shop, but they are very upfront about their timelines and communicated well through out the process. read more

I ran my RAM off the road into a ditch full of water trying to avoid hitting a deer. There was a loud pop in my steering wheel and my entire front end was damaged. I picked Georgetown Collision Center because of Scott Starkes commercial: "I will waive you're deductible!" Boy, am I glad I did. I dropped it off and the ladies in the front (especially Makenna and Rainie) took care of the intake. They make sure to get the full details of the accident, inform you of their policies, and talk to you about the Deductible Assistance Program. Everything in their paperwork answers every question you could possibly think off, and they make sure to address their timeline in detail with you. Unfortunately, my email was not entered into their system correctly, so I did not receive any other their updates about my vehicle, but as soon as it was corrected (the day I thought my car was supposed to be ready, but was not) I immediately started to get the email updates. My truck was in the shop for about 60 days, but again, their timeline and any setbacks that could take place, are described in their paperwork. By far that made everything worth taking my truck to Georgetown Collision Center was Courtney. Her beautiful soul found things during the intake process to mark that I wouldn't have noticed, and brought things to my attention that could have been during the accident. She made sure that Christian Brothers (outsourced for mechanical) knew the specific problems with my truck that I described. She personally kept up with their updates to make sure my truck was taken care of. read more

I am so thankful for Georgetown Collision. I heard about them on the radio and they drew me in with their claim to waive my insurance deductible if I needed to ever bring my car in. I had heard this infomercial for months before I ever needed their services, it was basically drilled into my head and when it came time to take my car in I didn't want to take it anywhere else and I am so happy I chose this place. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly faces and casual conversation as I waited to talk to Katie about my car. I also needed to be set up with a rental and (I can't remember her name) one of the girls drove me to enterprise to pick up my loaner vehicle, no questions asked, she was happy to take me! I was quoted about a 30 day turn around time and it was completed a few days before expected! When I got my car back it was PERFECT, I mean, it was cleaned and detailed and shiny and looked better than new with the new parts they put on. The best part is is that I knew my car was close to being totaled with the damages and I begged them to try to work with my insurance to let them work on it (I had just finished paying off my car a month prior), and Victoria got them to approve all the parts and labor and I paid nothing out of pocket, because they waived my insurance deductible! I have been so happy with their work and am telling everyone I know to take their vehicle(s) here if they need work done bc these guys are great! They are sooo accommodating and so kind, and I truly can't say enough good things about their service and work on my car. read more

While my experience with GTC was mixed; overall I expect to give them 4 out of 5 stars. Initial contact and set up of my claim was excellent. I was treated respectfully and professionally. I was given a ride to the car rental. I have no complaints with my initial experience; 5 out of 5 stars. The end product was also very good but for a couple of problems. First the overhead console was broken. Secondly, there was a tool lodged within the trunk frame. Lastly, while my headliner was replaced, it appears there is a section which was not attached properly. It also looks as the roof could benefit from a good buffing. These issues appear to be easily fixed, but I will have to go back up to Georgetown and wait of the corrections. Normally this would not be a problem but for the near hour long drive through Austin traffic which is always a delight; 4 out of 5 stars. My least favorable rating is for the time it took to get the repairs done. 5.5 weeks for damage to the roof from a garage door is difficult to understand. I had a rental care but my allowance ran out after 3 weeks. The last 2.5 weeks was a choice between blowing what I had saved on the deductible or bumming rides. Needless to say it was a long 2.5 weeks; 3 out of 5 stars. Once the last several issues are resolved, I will be able to grade Georgetown Collision's service and product at 4 out of 5 stars. Put this body shop on your go to list! It's a little past your major Georgetown exits but the service is worth the drive. The car accident I was in, turned out to be an uninsured motorist so I found myself needing to pay my deductible. I made a call on Friday around 4:45 pm after their commercial came over the radio. Dolly assisted me over the phone and took all of my information to set me up for that following Monday morning. She was really busy since it was close to closing time but she answered all my questions. The initial drop off was as smooth as could be. I was there signing paperwork and having the photos taken within 20 minutes of arrival before being taken to go get my rental car. I spoke with the owner Scott soon after and just as promised they worked smoothly with my insurance company (USAA). I was given an estimated finish date which was quite reasonable and then waited for the call that I could come pick it up. My front bumper looks better than brand new and my hood is now flush with the rest of car. I am so pleased with the service I received and the quality of work that got put into my vehicle. It truly puts me at ease because I just bought this car last year and now have a very big move out of state to make in 3 weeks. I'm excited to share with you my experience with Georgetown collision after a fender bender I need a repair and paint on my 2017 440i BMW after many frustrating calls to other auto repair shops I couldn't get the answers I was looking for . One phone call to Georgetown Collision I got my questions answered and they use OEM part I chose Georgetown Collision from the time I enter the door I was taken care of -every thing was address paper sign I left feeling good . ( now we've all had some work done on our vehicles before so we know how long it can take we play the back-and-forth phone calls ) OMG I DIDN'T HAVE TO CALL Georgetown collision not one time they call and text me updates ( I know what the heck ) my car was finish ahead of schedule ( well ahead of my schedule) I couldn't pick it up ( are you ready for this part ) Georgetown collision brought it to my home after going over it with The representative from Georgetown collision that drove it to me it's PERFECT LIKE A NEW CAR ! Georgetown Collision was a pleasure to work with. They have an amazing staff always willing to help throughout this stressful enough issue. My vehicle looked brand knew and was completed in a timely manner. Scott called me personally to make me aware my car was ready. I read the reviews prior to taking my car, but the fact is you drop your car off and there is really no much if any communication needed. They appeared to be very busy every time I was there. If you're car takes longer than average it could be a part on back order or any numerous of issues. I grew up with my father owning a paint and body shop, there cannot ever be a specific time any vehicle can be promised unless a shop is using parts they have gotten from a junk yard, or other used or fake parts store. Reviews for me are to look for quality of work, and that's exactly what I got! It ran a little behind on a date they suspected but also let me know parts ORIGINAL parts from Mazda we're running late. I cannot speak of their call turn around because I had no reason to continually call them. If you want quality work, quality parts, and inspected by the owner before leaving the premises WITH a lifetime warranty. Georgetown Collision is the place to go!! read more

Start to finish Fullerton's staff and shop crew did everything possible to make sure the outcome of my repairs were completed in a timely manner with quality that would put a smile on my face. My car is a BMW M3 and the damages were bumper damage, undercarriage damage, transmission and headlight damage and it was all repaired flawlessly. The staff in all departments are kind and courteous with an endless amount of patience. Patience to deal with customers like myself that called almost every single day with questions ranging from dealing with insurance adjusters to completion date and everything in between. The best part of Fullerton's Collision Center to me was the shop crew, they work together as a team creating a collision center unit like none other. The shop crew has a vast level of expertise with a high level of pride in the work they do. They treat customer vehicles as if they were their own from when the vehicle enters the shop to the time the vehicle leaves Fullerton's Collision Center. Rest assured any vehicle entering Fullerton's Collision Center will be taken care of by a staff and crew that will genuinely put their passion into any and all repairs needed to get you back on the road. read more
