    Mamma's Baklava Pancakes

I cannot believe I haven't reviewed this place already! This spot is an absolute stand out in downtown Kirkland. I've been here for breakfast more often than I can remember (2-3 times a month going back to 2022), and I've always come away happy. I usually get the Keto plate or one of the omelets, but enjoy this picture I took of the baklava pancakes! For dinner, I've had both their gyro and their smash burger and loved them. It's worth pointing out also that their french fries are possibly the best you'll get at any spot in the area. If all of that weren't enough, their staff are delightful and charming!

Highly recommended. This is a great place for breakfast. Love the ambiance. Service is 5/5. Food is 5/5 and there is parking in front of building if you arrive early. There is a pay parking around the corner. Loved the breakfast I had for my birthday . Totally amazing, so much food . Love the coffee, I ordered a fiesta omelette with sour dough bread. Everything was amazing. I will be back for sure. They have a bar and happy hour I think I saw on the menu. Prices very reasonable. Overall rating 5/5 no issues everything excellent!

Uncertain of what we wanted for lunch, we stumbled upon George's in Kirkland. As we walked by and saw that it was busy and plates were empty were indicators we should go in. We were not disappointed. Hubby and I family styled the pot roast melt with crispy tots and the Greek hash. Both were delicious and we both agreed the pot roast melt was our favorite because of the tender beef that was melt in your mouth delicious! Hubby also appreciated that the French roll that it was served on did not cut the roof of his mouth. The caramelized onions were a little underdone and on the crunchy side. We were seated right away, food came quickly and we were outta there in time for our next stop. Service was friendly and our water glasses were always filled. George's has a vast menu - there is something for everyone. It's a great spot for breakfast, brunch/lunch and is family friendly. Parking was not an issue on a Saturday afternoon.

Stopped by this place for weekday brunch after an early morning errand. This place has a cute vintage vibe to it, with tables & booths with a bar seating area as well! The service was wonderful, the staff were kind and efficient and let us hang out for a bit after we finished eating, which was nice as it let us catch up a bit. It seemed that there were many Greek food influence in their menu yet some typical popular choices as well. I went with the baklava pancakes as it sounded good & i haven't had pancakes or a baklava in awhile :) Some of the other dishes chosen were the greek omelette and the chorizo benedict; both seemed to be well received too! I would definitely come out again & hope to soon!

This place is amazing every time! Got the meat lover's scramble and it was a great portion size and delicious. The caramelized onions were a great touch. Service was a little slow, but it was also packed!

My mom recently had a 75th birthday and the woman loves a sweet treat! I know that when I would fly over from NY, this would be one of our first stops. I wanted to take both my parents out for coffee and dessert. Our waitress was an absolute dream. The service was so stellar that morning. Yes, we ate cake at 9:39 am but it was way after our breakfast and before our nice walk in downtown Kirkland. We looked at the desserts before sitting down. There was a tray of a rhubarb crumb that looked good. I asked for that and the chocolate cake. I ordered a large cappuccino, my dad an americano and my mom got a latte. While the coffees were being made someone came in and snagged the whole tray because of Mother's Day. We made a decision to get the carrot cake. Secretly I think my dad was hoping for a Carrot Cake. We enjoyed both cakes and the cake slices were huge! I love baking myself and understand ingredients are not cheap so I believe they are very much worth the price. The space was nice and clean. Everyone's food around us looked delicious. I will definitely be back to try out the food next time I come to visit.

Since we stayed at the Woodmark hotel, this restaurant was across the street and made Carillon kitchen an easy choice. Food/Drinks: During our stay, we ate here three times. I had the kitchen breakfast that comes with scrambled eggs, smoked bacon or sausage, and fingerling potatoes. The eggs were scrambled perfectly, and the flavor of the potatoes were delicious. One of my favorites is the Woodmark breakfast wrap, which is vegan. It comes with salsa, eggs, avocado, caramelized onions, peppers, potatoes and cheese. I think it was wrapped in a tortilla. There was a slight kick. If you're hungry, add a protein for $3, I did and did not regret it. It was yummy! Service/Ambiance: It is an order, sit down and the food will be brought out to you type of restaurant. The food was prepared in a timely manner and the servers are helpful. They are highchairs for the young ones and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. Overall, I will return and look forward to dining here again if I ever visit back. The food is good quality, and freshness is enjoyed in every bite.

This place would be great for date-night or get a drink or have a family meal. Our server was attentive and helpful, making a change for us last minute with a 'I gotcha ya' attitude - LOVE! I have the urge to say 'hmmm, hmmm' dining here! Yum! Parking is free under the building, and nearby street parking tends to be available, too. The Food: Blackened Salmon, $33 - 5 Stars Menu: Salmon, corn soubise, fried plantains, fried okra We both wanted this as our main dish, so this is a 2X. The salmon is perfectly seasoned and grilled. You can SEE the seasoning on the fish. So glad they included pieces of okra. The frying/searing gives it the perfect chew. Fried Green Tomatoes, $15 - 5 Stars Menu: Green tomatoes, panko, egg, onion, Buddha's belly seasoning This dish is known as their must order. I have no clue what Buddha's belly seasoning is, but I can tell you it is tasty. Fried green tomatoes is a perfect southern dish (and I will always think about the movie). Wings, Jerk seasoning, $18 - 5 Stars Like many, we're suckers for wings. Even better if the seasoning is different. Jerk wings is rightfully popular, here. The sauce is generously applied, and every bit is delicious. The flavorful foods will have me returning for sure!

Even though we had a reservation for 12:00 PM, our group of six had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. When we finally got a table, they put us in a small booth meant for four people. I asked for a bigger table, but was told all larger tables were reserved--yet many stayed empty the entire time we were there. We brought flowers for the celebration, but there was no room for them because the table was so cramped. When we asked if there was a vase or bucket for the flowers, the hostess seemed visibly annoyed, just like she was when we asked about changing tables. Our waitress, however, was wonderful and did her best to make the experience better, which we really appreciated. We were also told that we had to leave by 2:00 PM because of an event, but it seemed like we were the only ones asked to leave, and no event ever happened. To make things worse, the doors were left open, making it freezing cold inside. We were so uncomfortable that we left after only an hour to go somewhere else and warm up. I'm very disappointed. After years of coming here, I expected much better service, especially for my birthday.
