Poor, unprofessional, overpriced service. A year after I had my car worked on at this specific location, the paint on the drivers side door of my vehicle began peeling and chipping off. The overall work completed on my vehicle was sub-par and taught me never to bring my business back to this specific location. Not worth the time or money when you are obviously being scammed. This review is for the towing service only; I cannot comment on their automotive repair. My car had an electrical issue which resulted in a no crank condition, so I needed my car towed to the dealer to have it diagnosed (the downfall of working on modern cars, but I digress). I called up George's Auto Body because they're along the way to the dealer. George told me he could have me towed in 45 mins, or right away if it was an emergency. I told him it wasn't an emergency, and 45 mins was fine. About an hour and a half later, the tow truck arrives, but I noticed that the AWD system was forcing the wheels which were being engaged by the tow truck to spin. Not wanting to risk damage to the AWD system, George set my car down at the entrance to my street and drove off to get a flatbed. I can't really blame him for not showing up with the flatbed in the first place because I hadn't mentioned that my car was AWD, but I was a bit annoyed that he set my car down 2 feet off the curb. I had my hazards on and people were still able to maneuver around to get into my street, but it was still a bit embarrassing having everyone stare at me wondering why I was partially blocking the road. I would have appreciated him taking an extra minute to help me move the car a bit closer to the curb. Finally the flat bed arrives and we make it to the dealer, but since the lot is on a hill, the car didn't make it all the way into the parking spot. In his defense, it was partially my fault because I held the brakes down somewhat because the car in the adjacent parking spot was very close and I was worried I would hit it if I rolled back full force since the flatbed wasn't lined up perfectly straight with the parking spot. George told me I was supposed to just let it roll and just said "I think it's good enough, thanks" and then went to leave. The attendant told me it was fine to leave my car halfway in the parking spot, but again, I would have appreciated if he went the extra mile and helped me put the car in the proper spot. Hopefully I'll never need towing again, but if I ever do, I don't think I would use this service again simply because there are a bunch of other towing services in the area and I would like to believe they are capable of providing better service. George definitely got the job done, but I can't say I was 100% satisfied with how it was done. read more

If one needs to have repairs done during a pandemic (or anytime) this is the place to go. Raffe accommodated my schedule (home with grandkids remote learning) and since I opted to wait outside (he has a waiting room, but the south side of the building has a safe, sunny, comfortable courtyard where I relaxed. I brought my own director's chair and folding table, which I started doing during the pandemic) and got a lot of work done while Raffe expedited my repairs. He was very respectful and patiently explained everything to this grandma who is not car savvy and I know that he did not take advantage of my naïveté. His work was top notch and reasonably priced. Raffe is very professional, friendly and straight forward when it comes to pricing, which is why I shall patronize this repair shop if G-d forbid I need repairs in the future. These guys are miracle workers!! George and Raffe both went above and beyond any level of customer service when I brought my really beat up BMW to them. I had parked my car under a bridge while I was away for a few weeks and when I came back, my car was covered in tar! I took it to 6 different auto body shops in the NY area, they all told me that it cannot be taken out and the whole car would need to be repainted. Then a good friend recommended George's, I took the car there and they said they can take care of it without having to repaint the entire car, I was ecstatic! A few days later, they calls me and tell me that my car is finished... I run to the shop and I am not lying, I almost didn't recognize my own car! It was so shiny and beautiful, as if nothing ever stained it. They even fixed additional scratches that I wasn't aware of. George's auto body saved me A LOT of money by fixing the stains / scratches without having to repaint the entire car. I am so thankful and grateful for all of their help! This business is a total rip off, husband skidded on ice and hit a snow embankment but couldn't get out on his own. The police called this business for a tow truck and he had the nerve to charge $148 just to pull him out and not even tow him anywhere. Seems a bit steep just for a pull and kind of suspicious that he only wanted cash. read more
