Mancuso auto is the ONLY place I will ever bring any of my cars for repairs. Nick and his wife have always been a pleasure to deal with and the crew they have their is top notch. My mustang has been in two different accidents and each time they have been able to perfectly paint match the color, and more importantly make, sure my 11 year old paint looks just as good as the new paint. After seeing the work they had done I also had them ceramic the whole car as well and couldn't be happier. The car looks better then most cars coming off the showroom floor and It's been a full year since they had done the work on my car. Not only was the service there excellent from start to finish, they went above and beyond to manage the horrendous experience we had with a local car rental place that we used while the car was being repaired. 5 Stars because: 1. They handled our entry into the shop seamlessly and explained everything they were going to do. 2. They called the same day to give us the date that the car could be picked up. 3. They checked in over the 10 day period to give us updates. 4. They had the car ready the day they said it would be ready. 5. When the local car rental place continued their nonsense, they called and intervened on our behalf and everything was taken care of. I found Mancuso because they are a registered body shop with Liberty Mutual and my wife just had an accident. I read the reviews on Yelp as well as their rating with the BBB (A+) so I figured I would try them. I am happy I did. As soon as my car was towed there, I received a phone call explaining what the process would be between that moment and when I would get my car back. After the damage assessment was complete I received another phone call explaining the damage and everything that had to be replaced as well as the time estimate it would take to repair my vehicle (about 3 weeks). What was very surprising is I received text updates from Mancuso every few days giving me an update on the percentage completion of my repairs. What a great service to offer!! Then, most importantly, when I picked my car up, the repair job was second to none. It didn't look like anything happened. Another thing I was very happy about was Mancuso was not shady or sleazy any step of the way. They are completely by the book when dealing with insurance agencies which I appreciate because it means they take their business seriously and their quality of work seriously. Wonderful place to get your Car done if you get into an accident. I was in an accident where a older lady ran a stop sign and T boned my two driver doors. So my mom said lets go to the auto body down the block. Found out it was this place and said ok to it. The minute they saw how upset I was that my brand new car I got a week ago was already in accident,they instantly calmed me down and gave me info on how long my car will take and what they will be doing while its there. Every time there was a new update they called me or my mother instantly. After a month later they called me back and said my car was ready. When I came to them my car looked brand new. They greeted me with open arms and let me know that the car was all good and they were nice enough to install my new license plate on my car for me. What I like most about them was that they never give you attitude. I've been to a lot of other shops and store when I had my last two cars and usually when shop owners see how young I am and how much questions I'm asking they usually roll their eyes or sigh every time I asked. Nope, not with these guys they gave me eye contact,they answered all my questions and they were very patient with me. Had an accident, USAA recommended Mancuso. They were phenomenal - straight forward, told it like it was, let me know up front the job could take 9 working days, only took 5. They made the car look good as new. When I dropped the car off, they gave me a ride to the train. When it was time to get the car, they picked me up at the train. Needed body work and was given an estimate which sounded great, main reason they earned my business. They kept my car longer than needed. When repairs were finally finished, they charged me an outrageous amount, double than previously told. I was then handed a receipt which did not show I paid for the service, instead, I was given a receipt showing that an insurance company paid more than I actually paid. The people at Mancuso are indecent, untrusting, and scammers. I would not recommend...ever! read more

The whole team at Mancuso is great! My car was vandalized and my insurance company put me in contact with Mancuso Auto Body here in my town. My insurance company said the shop would be calling me within the next day or so to bring my car in or have it towed. I received a call not even an hour later from the most kind, empathetic and friendly person I think I've ever dealt with at a body shop. She explained to me in detail the paper work process; she answered all of my question with no frustration or irritation. When I first went to the shop I walked into this office and was greeted with a welcoming smile from the women I assume is whom interacted with on the phone and Nick. Nick took over the reins from there, he walked outside with me to take a look at the damage to my car and then told me what he would be doing to repair it and even to try and prevent a similar occurrence. Then Nick explained when to expect my car; Four days later I received a call from nick updating me about my car which I appreciated because shops don't do that commonly. Two to three days after that call, I received another call from nick that my car was ready. I have never gotten my car back from a shop after just one week. I was pleased with the work done on my car and the team of people at Mancuso are truly great. If I ever need work done on my car again they will be who I go to. read more

Mancuso Auto Body in Mt Vernon near the McDonald's is a great place and worth going out of your way. Family operated and run, I can give a glowing 5 stars ! I had a broken bumper from hitting an ice bank in the horrible 2014 winter and the plastic bumper had to be re welded ( bumpers are made of plastic.. Who knew !) I went to my local guy just because he was walking distance and said it would be 200.00 bucks and that he could fit me in after 6 weeks ! Actually I was hoping to get this done this season. So I went to the body shop next to my mechanic in New Rochelle. He said he did not have time to look at it and to call and set up an appointment.. Fair enough. I called and left a message; he never called back. So I remembered that I had some insurance body work done on a car that I had 20 years ago at Mancuso. They looked at it right away and said it would be 150.00 then explained what the job entailed. To my delight they offered me a ride home after I dropped off. I also had a mud flap that had come off during some snow spin out which they put back on for no additional cost. While backing the car into the shop Nick noticed that a break light was out. Again replaced the break light, put the mud flap back on and did the bumper for 150.00 ! And the final super hooray came when they picked me up after the job was done in 2 hours ! Ok so I know the guys at AutoZone will help you change a break light... but they wont give you the bulb.... Save yourself the grief, go see Nick at Mancuso where honesty and customer service still exist..... I wish I could say this about my other car related vendors... read more
