So on one occasion, the regular caregiver found him on Monday a.m. in his living room asleep on the floor in the fetal position, with the same clothes on that he had on Friday. Clothes obviously completely soiled. The caregiver from Goodcare basically did nothing, while I paid well over $500 for the privilege. But, I realize things happen and I called Goodcare to let them know. They were nice enough and said they would take care of it. Several weeks later, the same thing happened. And of course they billed me for the privilege. So I called again, and told them I couldn't use them any more - I actually need someone to TAKE CARE of my dad on the weekends. Like shower him, change him, tuck him in. The kind of stuff that home care agencies are supposed to do. Jo Beth assured me she would speak with the owner and that he would contact me. I also asked if there was anything they could do about my bill, since I am paying for SERVICE that was never performed. She assured me that SOMETHING would be done and that I would hear from someone soon. Three weeks later, I've heard nothing but crickets. Sorry folks, but as far as I'm concerned, Goodcare is actually "No Care." And you pay $25 an hour minimum for "no care." Good day.

They've always been punctual with times and dates. I started with them here in my home in Silverton Texas. That's quite a trip for them to make. I placed mom in a group home in Amarillo and the staff never wavered one bit! They were right on top of things. I was given the absolute best team they have! I have names but I best not mention on here! . The care has been top notch. I cant be there when they go to see mother, but I know in my heart she's given the best care. I receive text messages informing me of any details I need. If you ever need home health or hospice care I urge you to call the number listed. I'm truly blessed to have Kinder Hearts in my corner. Sent a young lady to talk to my 83 year old Marine dad with Dementia about his feeling. Dad is 83,…read morehe doesn't have feelings he just feels grumpy. Renting unnecessary gear for him and putting it in his room. Dropped/discharged him when he went to the ER. Problems keeping up with his medicine, the nurse or I always needed to remind them. The call center is always polite. Nurses are overworked. Usually 15 to 40 minutes after you call the call center before someone calls you back. The person calling you back is not necessarily the nurse in charge of the patient you called about. Did not respond to patient issues when he fell and hit his head causing the facility to call an ambulance and send him to BSA (over 10 times).
