NO WAY, it shouldn't be an argument to get information about a service you provide, ie physical therapy. I am from a different state, have an old, previously closed workmen's comp claim for surgery due to injury at work. I need to reopen it so they can pay for some therapy because I am having some flareup at the surgery site. Your Doctors want me to use my current medical insurance, which means that I would be required to provide copay and deductible....uhhh not going to happen. None the less, I was simply trying to find a new hand doctor nearby, I will continue my search. read more

Dr. Creed Paris is the best doctor for hip replacement surgery. I had my first surgery with him in October 2023. Afterwards, I was released immediately from the hospital (one overnight stay) with all the medications, the exercises I needed, and confidence that all went well. I was doing so well that I thought that I could go dancing again. On Friday night in November (3 weeks after surgery) I went and it was the Coors Ranch Rodeo event. The dancing venue was full of cowboys and everyone was dancing. I was afraid I would fall down and get trampled on. I didn't have the confidence and decided to wait a little while longer. I had absolutely no pain. The next day I was wearing my cowboy boots which were slick and worn out. I wore them to work the next night and walked too fast and slipped and crashed straight to the floor. I had broken my femur and couldn't walk on it. My hip was so strong. I was transported by ambulance to BSA where Dr. Paris came to see me right away. On a Sunday, November 12th by about 1:30pm or 2:00pm I had a second surgery to fix my broken leg. He wrapped two wires around the broken part. Took out the old metal stem and replaced it with one slightly longer. I threw away the cowboy boots and still haven't gone dancing but I will. I thank Dr. Paris and the staff at Amarillo Bone and Joint Clinic. He gave me my life BACK!! AND he is very cute TOO! I TRUST HIM FULLY. His PA, Brian Gillette is also very good and was helpful. My son fractured his forearm while at summer football camp this year. We were referred to Amarillo Bone & Joint and I am so thankful that we were!! The office is fairly new. The waiting room is very spacious with ceiling to floor windows (which I love), 2-3 flat screen T.V's one that is playing the news and the other usually has cartoons on for the younger patients. The office staff has always been courteous and professional. The medical staff has always been excellent!!! We were not seen by the Dr. we were seen by his PA Mindy. She was AMAZING!!! From the very beginning Mindy was SO warm, comforting, and had excellent bedside manner. We expected to be in the cast for a month. We are going on week 7 and we are 100% on board with that. Mindy is a mother and views her patients as if they were her own when she treats them. She went over the X-Rays in detail all 3 times and answered my questions as well as my 9 year old sons questions. I highly recommend this practice!! read more

Amarillo is so very fortunate to have Amarillo Bone And Joint! Everything from the moment you walk in is perfect. The receptionists are efficient and welcoming and the doctors kindness and skill are beyond reproach. I have been blessed with having Dr. North to perform both knee and hip surgery. Without his skill and caring concern I shudder to think where I would be today. His PA, Simon Cano is also fabulous! He is compassionate and very knowledgeable. I also did PT at this office. Doctors are very laid back and very professional. Love the staff. They always take care of any issues with paperwork right away.

Staff needs to be able to communicate with patients better and not let thing go that need to be told to the patient in a timely manner not at the last minute. The Doctors I have no problems with and are very good at what they do. Only other problem I had was that a prescription was supposed to be called in on three separate occasions and it never was. I give an A+ to the doctors. Communication needs to be worked on with staff I understand that things get busy and things can be overlooked in the busy office they have. But it's not good practice to wait too long to let people know things at the last minute read more

I should've gone to Denver for my specialized hand surgery, but was assured Sims was experienced at it, as well as a Christian man. He admitted to my family that my surgery was a far more intensive and extensive one than he had ever done. Had I known this BEFORE surgery, he would've never touched my hand. But this explains why I have had nothing but problems since I had the surgery. After getting a post-op opinion in Denver with a hand surgeon, he confirmed from surgery to post-surgery rehab my hand has further damage and left it worse than before I even had the surgery. What I want to know is what's a middle-aged guy to do without the use of ONE hand... read more
