The came in with a broken collarbone and multiple broken ribs. I was the second person in the waiting area, with an appointment and I came 25 minutes early. They didn't see me until 30 past my appointment time. The receptionists handed me my paperwork to fill out and shut the window in my face. Not even asking me what brought me there, or she would have noticed I couldn't write because of my dominant writing hand was immobilized. Both of them were snap chatting and cutting up instead of doing their jobs. When I finally got to see someone they didn't take a thorough patient assessment which resulted in an incorrect documentation of my accident and a insurance conflict. I had to leave and go see a different doctor. Unless you are a rich sports injury they don't care.

I also am a surgeon in a different specialty and am right arm dominant. I have patients that have had the same surgery (by different but very competent surgeons) who unfortunately had complications and had to give up their jobs because they lost the use of their dominant arm. So I took on several risks: Only a 75% chance of a successful surgery plus the risk of post op complications that could end my career. About 2 dozen of my patients had either themselves or someone they knew that had surgery by Dr. Sims and every single one of them praised him. I had dozens of my patients praying for me on the morning of the surgery, including Dr. Sims! Needless to say, the surgery & post op all went well & I was back operating on my patients in 4 weeks. Dr. Sims staff, techs and nurse practitioners were all excellent, caring and treated me wonderfully.
