During my consult, I was quoted $4,200 for TRT pellets -- a treatment I've been receiving for $1,200 from a urologist five hours away. Only after explaining that it would literally be cheaper to drive across the state, stay in a fancy hotel, and dine at a 5‑star restaurant did the office manager magically drop the price to $1,200. That alone felt shady. But the real nightmare started with the procedure. The provider wasn't there. Instead, a man who had never performed the procedure before was sent in to cut me open. He admitted the provider (who wasn't even in the building) told him he could "go ahead." I've had this treatment four times before -- nothing compared to the pain and complications I experienced here. The incision wouldn't stay closed, and I dealt with bruising and swelling for six weeks. Round two was just as bad. I confirmed multiple times that the actual provider would perform the procedure. I was rescheduled last‑minute, then rescheduled again, and reassured every time. I showed up -- and once again, the provider wasn't on site. A different person walked in to perform the procedure while I was already on the table. The next day, I tried to get help with the wound and bandage. I was told they "don't do that." Not one staff member even looked at the wound until I insisted. When they finally did, the bandage was soaked with blood. Even the staff member admitted this was not how post‑care is supposed to work. I'm still owed bloodwork for what I paid, but I won't be back. I genuinely hope my experience prevents someone else from going through what I did.
