I tried placing an order online but it never went through. Called them multiple times and was sent straight to voicemail. Couldn't even leave a message because inbox was full. So what do I do? I still wanted my order because they had a 50% coupon which I really wanted to use for dinner. I ended up going in person and reordering. The host had to go ask another employee whether or not to honor my online 50% coupon. The employee really thought about it and eventually told me fine they'd do it. My family and I took my visiting niece to this location to eat. Upon being seated and ordering our drinks, the server returned with our drink order to only spill it on my niece! The hostess was nice and explained menu. We did the build your own bowl. I had noodles and my husband had fried rice. They give you a ticket and you go through and choose everything you want. When we got our bowls they had mixed up my food with the fried rice so we let her know that wasn't right which she took back but basically just picked out the food and mixed with noodles instead. My husband didn't have baby corn and I did so when he got his new bowl it was obvious they just kinda picked around it and switched. It made my noodles bland as they didn't have any sauce I had chosen and he had some of my baby corn still in his rice. First off the food was good. But here's the worst part. The service and pricing was horrible. Until the end of September, they have endless bowls but they neglect to tell you they are $25 per bowl. The service was so bad. We had a brand new waitress that didn't even know what unlimited bowls were. Every time we got our cooked meal. It was short our vegetables. It was like we weren't getting our full meals. If we wanted to refills on our drinks, we had to almost go find any server any employee. We ordered Long Island iced teas and they were out of tequila. The drinks were so sweet they were almost undrinkable. We watched the brand new server/hostess look at everybody else but us. When being sat down at tables, they sat people in groups right next to each other, even though the restaurant was almost empty. If you choose to go, ask for a better table and ask for prices upfront. During covid you have to scan the qr code for the menu and I swear it took 10 minutes to download both on and off their wifi. We also had to have a temperature check before being seated. Went with my wife and kids for lunch yesterday and loved the food. They have kids bowls which is a plus having children. We were impressed by the variety of different meats, vegetables, seasoning, and more to choose from. Our waitress Alexis was very nice and welcoming considering it being our first time there. They do supply gloves and hand sanitizer to use before you build your bowl. The food and service was great which is why I had given 4 stars. A woman who identified herself as a manager was very aggressive with me as lowered my mask to ask a question. Beyond the stench, I had no idea how things worked and the staff wasn't very helpful. I fumbled my way through the line awkwardly, holding up everyone behind me. I had no clue how much season to put on my protein, so that didn't work out so well. I had the same problem with the sauce as well. The vegetables had frost on them, so clearly the ingredients aren't fresh. The final product ended up being bland and not worth what I paid for it. I understand that building your own creation is part of the novelty, but how many bad apples should someone eat in hopes of finding a ripe one? No thank you, Genghis Grill. My parents love this place and I'm not sure why. At Genghis Grill you pick one of three bowl sizes. After getting your drink order, you take your bowl and fill it up with the raw meats, veggies, and sauces you want in your dish. The cooks will take your ingredients and add your selection of starch (pasta, rice etc) and cook it up. Lately I think the raw seafood options have been running low. Also, since they use a grill, be mindful that you will get some burned areas ingredients in your dish. read more
