I went to Genesis 1 Auto Concepts after another shop totally ruined the clear PPF on my Rivian R1S. Genesis was recommended to my by my brother-in-law who had wrapped his Porsche Taycan with them. I was fortunate enough to deal with the owner Jay who was simply amazing. He showed me how the other shop charged me for XPel PPF and installed super cheap and sticky crap. Genesis took care of my vehicle, carefully removing the old PPF and working with me to select a gorgeous Profection Diamond Blue PPF. Jay is an honest guy who definitely earned my business for life. His staff is a total reflection of him and they truly care about what they do to your car. DONT GO HERE I spent over $5,000 on repairs and upgrades, and the experience was deeply frustrating. Despite multiple visits, they never resolved the issues I had, and I had to return multiple times without any fix. It sucks because I spoke so highly about them to everyone I knew and also recommended them to others, on top of that they even installed a grille incorrectly. A part I ordered through them took nearly a year to arrive, way beyond the promised timeframe, and they tried to charge me an extra $300 after the part arrived which was never disclosed upfront they messed up and said tariffs but that should have been disclosed upfront they're exact words was "if we take a hit you take one as well" so I'm supposed to pay for there mess up ? Additionally, communication was poor they took forever to get back to me. They performed an oil change but forgot to reset the maintenance light, which is a basic step for a professional shop. Overall, their work felt rushed and unprofessional, and I strongly advise caution if you consider going there. They will try to Up charge you for the smallest things. read more

Well, once again, Genesis hooks me up. But what I mean by that is that my truck got completely detailed looks freaking awesome. No more scratches but then again that's what they do. Fantastic work. They also hooked me up by notifying me that my alternator was bad what did they do? Replace my alternator if they didn't replace my alternator I'd probably be stuck and all pissed off. Also they installed dash cam and rear cam because with all the accidents that happened this is one way that I can protect myself if I got hit by another car or even a truck cover your bases that's what I did. They hardwired everything in. Did a great job works great. Also they did an oil change and rotated my tires. Just another great job. No problems. You gotta love these guys, Jay and Sal and the team are just fantastic people if you're looking for your car, truck motorhome or whatever to be detailed taken care of. It looks like it's been hardwired. My daughter loves it! It's working great! I then brought in my car to have a dash cam hardwired in my car. They did a great job again! Brought my '22 Raptor in with the factory B&O Unleashed system, which totally felt "leashed". Now it's a different truck. It's perfect! I couldn't be happier. I've had various trucks/cars in my lifetime, all with audio upgrades that were improvements but the installers just seem to install. These guys took their time, tuned it to properly. Every song, from various genres sounds amazing. I am beyond satisfied with the service. The time I spent with the owner, before and after they were done. To prove how well they did. Got home earlier today. Noticed something was off coming back on a long drive from Long Beach, CA, in the rain. If any of you Southern California kei owners plan to get air bags on your #hondaacty #keitruck, avoid this shop at all costs. Importantly, your life is on the line. Apparently, I had ignored the red flags from previous customers and the locals, thinking maybe just maybe they'll do a better job with me this time around. They own 8 different amazing kei trucks. So, seeing them in person, you would be like.. Hey, I would love to restore my Japanese vehicle because they have the knowledge and know how to know. Today, I almost lost my life on the freeway!!! Luckily, these vehicles do not drive fast. Believe me, if this were a bigger rig at high speeds, you know it would be much worse. Realizing later in the day hitting just the slightest bump, I felt my truck swerve like it fish tails; but on a 4WD vehicle, this is odd, right? Here's the culprit. Welds with zero penetration and set at low heat only a beginner would do. My only regret is researching this shop more and not wasting my time with runaround excuses. I needed brake service for my car so I emailed Sal at Genesis 1 and asked if I could bring my car in. He quickly got back to me & helped me out. I was able to get my car into the shop the following day. When I got there Abel greeted me and so I told him what my car needed, he recommended a few things some of which I told him I'd hold off on for now and was understanding but did such a great job in helping me out & getting me the best deals. I'm extremely grateful that he takes his time to explain cars parts and how they work. I was absolutely delighted with their customer service. I even got a complimentary car wash. Thanks guys! I went to Genesis to restore a Camaro that my wife had similar when she was younger. They gave me an estimate on all the things that needed to be done to make it "showroom condition" it was a total of $34,000 in March 2023. Before I brought it to them, I had taken it to a couple other mechanics and had a new air-conditioning put in plus a windshield. All of the interior power worked perfectly, the door locks, the windows, the hatch release, the mirrors and the dome light. When I dropped it off the power windows worked, and I could open the car from the outside with the key on both sides. I took pictures of the vehicle when I dropped it off and several people saw the car before I dropped it off. When they gave me the car back this Monday the paint had some running spots, missing areas scratches and blemishes. I had given them the molding which I had purchased and they did not properly install the molding. The car doors did not shut well you have to slam them now. They also did not install the lights which I paid for because they said they were not in yet. They told me they would need for the paint to harden for two months and bring it back. They would touch up the paint, wet, sand, and address the molding issues along with adding the lights. I had paid them ahead of time to do the work in advance and after nothing was done I asked why. They told me that they decided to farm out the paint job with a guy on Ruther named Carlos. I spoke to Carlos and he said he had not done the work because they had not paid him yet. Apparently they moved to a new location and I believe used my money to help move instead of fix my car. Originally they showed me a paint booth and said they were going to do it themselves. This is a case of bait and switch. They paid a small percentage to have someone else paint the car from the money that I gave them. When I received the car back on Monday, there was a lot of new damage to the car. I emailed them, text them and left phone messages along with showing pictures and proof that the car was in good condition when I dropped it off. I had asked them to make a list of anything that needed to be done for it to be showroom and they did not put any of the things on the list that became new damage while in their possession. When I got the car back, none of the interior power worked. The electric hatch release did not work, the power mirrors did not work, the power locks did not work and the dome light doesn't work. I gave them the car with floor mats and a full tank of gas and it had new tires with no missing lug nuts. They put on new tires again, even though I told him it wasn't needed charged me for it and returned my car with different lug nuts and one was missing from one of the tires. They had painted over my factory paper on the driver's door, detailing the information about the car. The passenger window was scratched, as if whoever was painting it use it a sander and scratched the window. The driver side mirror was scratched. I believe they got paint on it and used a Brillo pad to get the paint off, which scratched the mirror. The car was returned to me with no floor mats and the gas tank was empty. I tried several times to ask them what we could do to resolve these issues. Over the years I've treated these people like family, and I trusted them. I even paid them for the work in advance, which I should not have done. After not getting a response to my text emails or phone calls I contacted Sal today by phone asking if there was a good time for me to bring the car back and discuss these problems. He laughed at me and said there was no good time and that he was not gonna do anything to address the issues. He said the issues were there before I dropped the car off. I don't believe he is a very honest person and I would stay here from this company. I left several messages with the owner Jay and he refused to return any of my calls. I'm now being forced to report this to the bureau of automotive repair and hire an attorney to get a refund. read more

Stay Away!!!!!! I brought this shop an Import to work on. They tried claiming I needed work that was recently done. Then they gave me an unreasonable time on how long the repairs take, Maybe because they thought I was a girl I didn't know my stuff but my dad has been a mechanic his whole life. After googling the owner and spending less than 60 seconds doing research online about them I came to my conclusion I was not wrong. read more

Me and my dad bought a beat up 2000 F-150. It had many issues like the wrong lift kit, different tire sizes and horrible brakes. DO NOT COME HERE, do not let these guys fool you. It's a trap from the beginning, you might think this shop is trustworthy because of all the high end cars you see parked on the lot, you'd be wrong. All show, no go. I would rate this zero stars if i could. It's unbelievable how poor they treat their customers and their cars. They will scam, manipulate, and overcharge you. I took my 2014 BMW 428i for a bumper replacement. I noticed when I took it back from them, the fender and the bumper was held together by a nail resulting in a big gap. I asked the manager there Jay why he couldn't close the gap. Legit lied to my face saying I needed to replace the whole fender to close the gap. Took it to a different mechanic a few days later and there's normally a rubber padding between the fender and bumper to close. Apparently, search up "Jay Nieto" on google, the guy stole millions of dollars in artwork. That alone should tell you not to come to this shop. During the time I had my car there, they parked my car in a handicap spot and got a ticket sent to my house. KEEP IN MIND, they will be doing mods to your car you didn't ask or request for. These guys also worked on my exhaust prior and i've never seen such horrible and lazy work. They also welded my exhaust in a way where i got an exhaust leak a few weeks later. Had some wheels bored out and "fixed" here. These guys know a little, but they really lean on the fact that they work on "lambos and ferraris" all the time apparently. I didn't find them to be very good at all. They bored out my wheels, and for some reason couldn't fully get one wheel to sit right, so they put on a spacer and new lug bolts and then charged me for them after it was done- they also charged me for the other side to "match". Once the wheels were on the car, the wheel wouldn't stop vibrating like they weren't balanced. When I called back they proceeded to tell me EVERYTHING that was wrong with the wheels- but none of the at was mentioned until I had issues a day later. They also gave me some lame excuse about how they needed to "program" TPMS and it was justified to charge a crazy amount when I ended up doing it in my garage with OEM sensors. These dudes are shady, I've been dealing with high end modification shops for 10+ years and I think these guys were the worst. Definitely won't be back- it's a shame because it's close to me but I guess my 2018 X5 wasn't high end enough for them to do a good job. They can keep the rest of the stuff I ordered. read more
