a sandwich and chips on a boat

There may have been some growing pains, within the store and with the parking/street work in the area, but they were always headed in the right direction. My local convenience store, they have a bit of everything and a great team in place. Was most recently greeted at the door and asked if I could be helped, where do you see that kind of service??? The sandwiches are on the pricey side but made to order and worth it. Headed off to work or for a day on the water, you will know you have a good deal when you grab that heavy bag of sandwiches!

    Large Italian,

Used to be a great place , I live right down the road been coming here for years. I say stay away from this place this is the last time me or my family come here. They messed the order up completely. The subs are trash there's three pieces of ham and some cheese, some shitty tomatoes. I ordered a tender meal with fries for my daughter they gave me 8 fries with it. This is horrible I'm so upset I'd like to go up there and throw these subs in someone's face. I've worked in kitchens for ten + years so don't say idk what I'm talking about. Keep serving shot like this you'll be the next local business to go out of business..,..

I was honestly blown away by the salted pistachio latte, it was the highlight of my visit!. The bakery items were also quite good and paired perfectly with the drinks. The entire menu looks delicious, and I already have my eye on a few other items to try next time. The environment is very nice, clean, and has a great vibe. To top it off, the service was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Wonderful brunch!…read more Stopped in on my birthday for brunch and had a lovely experience. We had the Pistachio Honey Latte, Shakshuka, beef soup, salmon toast and maple veggies. As a Shakshuka lover who has spent time in Israel I am quite picky about my Shakshuka but I can confidently say I was pleasantly surprised by this one and enjoyed every bite! The beef soup was a bit bland unfortunately but the salmon toast has copious amounts of salmon and was delicious. The maple veggies were also wonderful. The pistachio honey latte was perfectly balanced not being overly sweet. Service was nothing to note as you seat yourself and get your own food here but staff was nice. Ambiance was alright, we had to sit out in the patio area which while heated was a less than desirable location to eat but it wasn't bad. Overall we truly enjoyed our time at The Station and will be back without a doubt.

A Solid Bagel Stop in Lewes…read more I've eaten at Surf Bagel before, so on the way home from a recent business trip I decided to stop again and grab breakfast to go. I ordered a sesame bagel with egg, cheese, and scrapple, along with a hash brown. The bagel was nicely toasted and very fresh, which is really what you hope for when you're stopping at a place that specializes in bagels. The sandwich itself was simple but very satisfying. Nothing over the top or crazy fancy, just a well made breakfast sandwich that hit the spot. The service was friendly and quick, and the place itself has a unique feel to it. Inside they sell quite a bit of Surf Bagel merchandise, which gives it a fun local vibe beyond just being a bagel counter. I included a few photos because the shop has a cool look to it. I stopped in around 9 in the morning and it was still pretty busy, even during the off season. That tells me this place probably gets packed during the summer months. Overall, everything was fresh, the staff was nice, and it's definitely a place I'd stop at again when I'm in the area.

This place is very clean with some cool caricatures of celebs on the walls. The latkes are massive and perfect in every way. The matzo ball soup is simply the best. It has a classic huge matzo ball in a delicious savory chicken stock. This would be enough but you can get the "mish mash" which includes white chicken meat and noodles - yum. The salads are all fresh and well done. The tuna and egg salads are my my favorites. All the sandwiches are of a reasonable size but you can upsize for a price. They offer fine deli quality corned beef, pastrami and home style roasted turkey all of which are phenomenal. You can't go out the door without taking some dessert and/or cookie on the way out either!

The young lady behind counter took my order and then looked back to the kitchen and apologized to the person there. I seemed strange, so I asked if they were closing. She stated they close at 6p. It was 5.45p when I looked at my watch. Never knew having a paying customers (at $18 a sandwich) needed apology, but not a great impression. It was prepared in less than 5 mins and I was on my way. In the end, it was decent food but nothing special. Probably not coming back any time soon. Word of advice to the owner....employees shouldn't feel customers are an "inconvenience". Best wishes to you
