We ordered a large Italian and a large homemade turkey. The Italian sub was good. We were very disappointed in the homemade turkey. Our guests could not tell what it was, initially thinking it looked like tuna fish. It was dry shredded turkey meat. There were no condiments to provide flavor, even though we ordered the sandwich without any modifications, except we asked them to put the onions on the side. So the sandwich was extremely dry, and we were unable to eat it until the next day, when we added our own condiments to it. Adding some sandwich spread helped to moisten the sandwich, but it still does not pass for a good turkey sandwich. Unfortunately, we were out on a boat, so I did not take a picture of it. All that said, I would still come back, however I would stay away from the homemade turkey.

The portion sizes were more than adequate and quite tasty. I ordered a slice of plain cheesecake which was generous in size and rather tasty. You may wonder why I included a photo of one of the 2 unisex bathrooms: my theory is that if the bathrooms are clean, which these were, then sanitation in food preparation and handling by staff is a priority for the dinind establishment which it certainly is for me! I've included photos of the menu which can likely be found on the website which is updated. The prices are rather high, however I consider quality and value important, particularly for something which I shall ingest. Definitely check out Rosenfeld's Jewish Deli, either for eating in or takeout!

The Latkes were good, as were the onion rings. The French fries didn't impress me. The mushroom barley soup was tasty. Pastrami was good, not so much for the corned beef or brisket. I was actually disappointed with the brisket, it tasted by boiled beef. Being a 70+ year old kid from the Bronx who grew up with kosher deli's on every other corner I was spoiled. Nothing is like it used to be. But thankful that places like Rosenfeld's are still around and keeping memories alive. In a week I will be visiting the Bronx again and going to the last kosher deli in the Bronx. So if you're in the Bronx stop by Liebman's. Keep the memories going.

We had been there once before in the Winter, and thought that the food was very good. I remember having a Monte Cristo, which was tasty. We arrived and placed our order: Southwest Turkey and a Chicken Caesar. Neither sandwich had any substitutions or changes. They were ordered as is. The receipt (see photo) shows that the order was placed at 11:47am. There were others ahead of us, so we sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. After about 15 or so minutes, we noticed that patrons who came in and ordered after us, we getting their orders. Finally, at apx. 12:25pm my wife went up and asked where the food was and wanted a refund. The cashier apologized. Suddenly, the food came out and we were told we could have a bag of chips on the house. We grabbed a bag and left. When we arrived home, we found out that not only did the order take over 30 minutes but that it was wrong! We got two Chicken Caesar sandwiches (see photos). One looks great, the other not so great. So, our second visit will be our last.

At times, it tasted a bit salty but it could have been the Taylor Ham added to it. Although I have no pictures, you must try their $1 hash brown. It is crispy, brown, and good taste. It reminded me of the golden days when McDonald's had their $1 hash brown and not the $4 hash brown that is barely cooked. This hash brown is a must have and I would recommend get more than one. Their coffee is also really good. From their wide selection, I got their blueberry and coconut coffee. These coffee tasted so delicious. You could taste the fruits as if they have put real blueberries and coconut in the coffee minutes prior to it being roasted. I brought some coffee bean bags to take home. As for the location, it is nice and packed if you show up after 12 like I did. There was no table available as they were used but got a booth. They had SurferTv on. It seemed interesting but I did not understand the channel, must be a northern thing. I got a regular slice of pepperoni pizza and, while the entire piece (fresh cheese & pepperoni) was great I really liked the crust. Tastes like these fine folks use "00" grade flour!
