Cumberland Farms, colloquially known in the Northeast as Cumby's, is a regional chain of convenience stores based in Westborough, Massachusetts, operating primarily in New England, New York and Florida. Cumberland Farms operates over 560 retail stores and gas stations.

If you become a member, you save 10¢ off every gallon of gas you purchase there. I typically find that their prices are competitive and they have a lot of good deals on the app usually as well. As far as the inside of the stores go, I can't really complain. It can get busy at times but that's not really the stores fault. The bathrooms have been clean every time I've used them. The food and drinks are pretty reasonably priced too, as convenience stores go. Parking, however, can be a challenge. This is why I am only giving 4 stars, not 5. Because inside the store can get busy, it can be very difficult to park as there are only a few parking spaces that are not at pumps. Getting in and out can be tricky, but if you use the adjacent road with the traffic light instead of trying to get out from the front of the parking lot, it is much, much easier.

However, upon opening there are "no" Mobil signs. In this respect, we will not use the service station. The station shows GARRETTS. Pictures enclosed. While the building…read moreremains from the Shell station, the underground gas tanks and gas pumps have been replaced, and the parking lot repaved (roughly coinciding with the much-needed repaving of Reservoir Avenue). Because Reservoir Avenue is a very busy four-lane road, with no turning lane, I would only stop here if I was traveling northbound, because trying to take a left turn out of here to go south on Reservoir is a difficult task during peak traffic. There are a decent number of cool-looking fuel pumps, and the parking lot is amply sized. But, it is truly a stretch to call this a 'convenience store'. Selection of drinks and snacks are severely limited, and the only option for coffee is a Keurig coffee maker. I bought a protein bar and a cup of coffee. Thus far in my life, I have never had a bad cup of coffee from a Keurig machine (not that Keurig coffee is good, either), but as they say, there's a first time for everything. The cuppa Joe I got tasted so bad, I couldn't drink it. Surprisingly, they do have a public bathroom, despite the store's small footprint. That is the only reason I gave them 3 stars, instead of 2. During my visit, the younger female cashier was having an animated conversation with a male coworker, who was leaning against the counter (despite several gaps in stock in the beverage coolers), about her future. "I need to go to school," she told him. "I can't do this (job) anymore."
