That dream didn't turn into reality, but what never changed was my love for this store. Even after years of going, it gives a sense of nostalgia that only 2000s kids would remember. The owner of the store is super kind and friendly. Shes a bundle of joy. Even if you're not purchasing anything, I really recommend to just go in and have a look! It could possibly bring back good memories especially if you're a fan of sanrio! A tip, they're still giving out the friend of the month keychains from last year. If you are missing some, there's still a couple of characters left if you spend $50 or more. I also got a free chococat sticker sheet for spending over $35+. The quality of the sticker sheet is very nice and I'm super happy to add this to my sticker collection.

What an END OF AN ERA…read more I can't believe this store location is closing but I suppose it makes sense since they have other locations and since there's so many other imported Japanese skincare and make up competitors out there too, though I always do my due diligence to shop around since prices can vary greatly and if there's sales. Most items are already out of stock since they've been scooped up by people but there's items here and there. There's a cashier at the front and not much interaction, but I prefer this over some of the older locations where they'd hover over you. Stock here is decent, but it's nowhere close to the RH location, but ever since going here as a high schooler (rare visits), I'd love to ascend and descend the stairs and look down and look at the decorations and random Ghibli and cute character goods they have up there.

I managed to snag a couple of refill bags for off&relax since I heard good things about the brand. Service is pretty nonexistent, which is fine by me since I prefer to be left alone. I'll still be at the Arcadia store though!

SERVICE: To preface, I did not get a piercing here (yet). I lost the back of my earring for my flat and needed a replacement ASAP. Kat greeted me warmly and asked if I needed anything which was very nice. I was browsing and wasn't sure what I wanted. Lev soon came out shortly to help me look for a piece that was in my price range and helped me put them on clamps to hold up next to my ear. This really helped me decide on what to choose as I could "see it" on my ear. Both made me feel so welcomed!! They were both so friendly and cool that I made a mental note to come back to get a piercing from this place. The pieces here are a bit on the higher end but most piercing studios with higher quality pieces usually have the same price range. I ended up getting a cool lil dagger that was within my price range. It was so nice that Kat was able to put in the earring for me and transfer the temporary one back to my lobe as well. I didn't expect that service which was really nice. OVERALL: Love the decor and the vibes! I definitely will be coming back as soon as I know which piercing to get next!

Absolutely recommend this studio!!…read more I made an appointment online for a hidden helix and two lobe piercings, and I had such a great experience from start to finish. 1.) The studio is incredibly clean! Everything felt very organized and sanitary. Each piece of jewelry is sterilized for 7-9 minutes before being used, and the jewelry displays were spotless and beautifully organized by brand. Every piece they carry is gorgeous, so be prepared to have a hard time choosing! 2.) Friendly, patient, and knowledgeable staff My appointment was with Boge, and while I was waiting, Lev helped me choose my jewelry. Both were incredibly kind and patient, especially because I am very indecisive. They never pressured me to choose anything and were happy to show me different jewelry sizes, talk through my options, and help me calculate the total cost. 3.) Honest advice and genuine customer care This was probably what impressed me the most. I originally came in wanting a hidden helix, but Lev actually advised me against getting one at this time because of the potential healing concerns with my ear anatomy and piercing history. They also took into consideration my upcoming events and helped me plan which piercings to get first and when it would be best to get the others. Although I was initially disappointed that I couldn't get the hidden helix, I really appreciated their honesty. They easily could have done the piercing, but instead prioritized what they felt would be best for my healing. That made me feel like they genuinely cared about me as a customer rather than just making a sale. And the customer care went above and beyond! I hadn't eaten before my appointment because I was nervous, and Boge noticed and offered me one of her own chewy granola bars so I wouldn't risk feeling faint. Such a small gesture, but it meant a lot to me. 4.) Fixed my messed up Claire's Piercing I had a piercing on my right ear that was pierced at the worst location as I have a mole there so I never bothered wearing earrings. Boge was able to work her magic and made everything look even! Please see my photos for before and after. Seamless experience (I have a super low pain tolerance and prone to fainting with needles). She was so kind and talked me through it all and let me lay in the chair for a bit before even getting up. I never felt rushed, pressured, or uncomfortable at any point. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, and I left feeling really confident about my piercing plan. Thank you to Boge, Lev, and the rest of the team for such a wonderful experience! I'll definitely be back when the timing is right for my helix.

Other than a couple of their staff, I was the only male present, and the women shoppers were going crazy for this stuff. Holy cow, that was an experience! The tent was set up in the back parking lot and contained racks and racks of brightly colored clothing (blouses, pants, dresses, etc.), swimsuits, and shoes. Shoppers were even trying stuff on right out in the open in the back of the tent...it was an experience! Trina Turk's clothing style has a cool vibe, and the clothing is all brightly colored. We have a second home in the Palm Springs area, and their fashions go great with that midcentury modern/contemporary look. Regular prices are what I would consider very expensive, but this tent sale had stuff marked down to incredibly reasonable prices. From what I gather reading other Yelp reviews, this is an outlet store. In addition to clothing, their stores also sell accessories, books, and décor items for midcentury modern/contemporary homes.

The jewelry is handcrafted, and many pieces include the artist's name and a short bio, which adds such a personal touch. They also carry candles, bags, greeting cards, and products for men, women, and children. The variety is impressive, and I especially appreciated the large selection of handcrafted items. The associates are friendly, welcoming, and genuine. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and I noticed they recognized and acknowledged repeat customers. That's impressive, especially considering the number of tourists who visit the store. Another thing I appreciated is that they don't overwhelm you with emails. Their emails are event-focused and purposeful, which is refreshing. You're paying for quality, craftsmanship, and unique items you won't find just anywhere. The prices reflect the specialty merchandise they carry and the care that goes into selecting it. Parking... well, it's Pasadena! It can be challenging, with mostly metered street parking and paid parking garages nearby, but it's a pleasant walk to the store. I highly recommend Homage!
