Gemma did a wonderful job repairing my favorite coat. She returned it promptly at a very reasonable price.

Very nice place. Family owned and operated. This isn't one of those "corporate chains." Instead…read moreit's simply a welcoming place. Are there some drawbacks? They might not be as fast as the big companies. Yet if this isn't an issue, you might save a little bit here. In this economy that's a positive. Have been pleased by the clothing results. Trust them on the starch work. They have this down, so please go with their recommendations. Friendly employees and in/out when a hurry. Yes it's on kind of a back road, but they've been in business some time. I'm happy to recommend them to everyone. You'll do your clothes good here, and look great for that interview or special occasion!

I used to go to this place regularly back in high school (around 2015) and the woman that worked…read morethere then did a wonderful job with alterations. Because of that, I went back a few weeks ago to get a dress shortened. I went to pick it up twice on the day it was supposed to be ready, and the second time I went, the man that now works there pointed out the van that pulled up and told me my dress was in there and that it'd be better for me to pick it up the next day. When I finally picked it up and tried it on at home, it was completely uneven (long in the front, short on one side, uneven on the other side, perfect in the back). I had to take it to another tailor to get it done right, as it's clear this place doesn't do alterations in house anymore. I also tried to call to get in touch over the phone multiple times, and was hung up on every time before I could get one word in.

So this review is a long time coming, but I wanted to have some 'After' pics to show off,…read moreunfortunately the official photos are still pending so audience photos will have to do. I originally reached out to Ada and a few other businesses in June to get my 'pre-wedding' (aka small, unofficial family-only ceremony) dress altered for September; it needed to be properly fitted, hemmed, and at the last minute I wanted to see if pockets could be added. Ada got back to me within a few days where some others never did and her prices were by far the best; she quoted me at a little more than $200 when the boutique I got the dress at estimated ~$800 and another business quoted me ~$500. The timeline for alterations was also significantly better which I later realized was because this is a small business where she can spend dedicated time working on the project. In total, from first fitting to final fitting, it was just a week as everything was perfect and fortunately I didn't need any later fittings as my size didn't change over the following months before the ceremony (I did try the dress back on at multiple points just in case). Overall she made the process comfortable and easy which was so nice because I was definitely an anxious bride. I hope to be able to go to her again in the future for general alterations and possibly again for my big, official wedding next year once I find that second dress! Thank you so much Ada! (and sorry it's taken me so long to review!)
