Highly recommend! They do great work! I had jeans hemmed here and they were fast and it looked great!

Loved this place! I came to get an alteration very last minute for work. And she delivered!! I brought a small button up shirt for men, and she turned it on a small button up shirt for women! Exactly what I wanted! If you'd look at it, you'd think I bought it exactly for me. Fast, reliable and for a great price! Definitely coming back read more

New ownership. My Lei retired. New owner doesn't speak English. It was a big obstacle and my alterations were all wrong. Waste of money.

I was honestly so amazed at the work they did on my shirt that was way too baggy in the arms. More than reasonable price given the quality of their work! Nice family oriented feel to the place as well, super kind! 10/10 would recommend read more

I have used My-Le for all my alterations since 2013. I love her work - it is careful and always exactly right. Her prices are very reasonable. read more

I've been meaning to get some clothing repaired and brought them all to My-Le - including an inherited fur coat that I worried may have been beyond repair. Not only did she salvage it, she quoted a very fair price for it and everything else right up front that helped me figure out if it was worth rescuing the items or letting them go. She even said she might be able to save the fur coat. She was very upfront and honest about the time it would take, why it would cost that much, and I felt very comfortable with the service. When I came back to pick everything up, it was like magic. She really is a miracle worker, and managed to save the coat. I will be coming here from now on for any clothing repairs I need. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reasonable, quality clothing repairs. read more

I started going here a few years ago to alter a bridesmaid dress and have been coming back ever since! Very quick turn arounds and always willing to make the alterations perfect prior to leaving with your garment. Thrilled I was given this recommendation. read more

Excellent work. I had 2 dresses hemmed . Owner was very friendly and professional. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend them read more

Went to My-Le's Needle to get my wedding dress hemmed and she did such a great job, the bridal shop I got my dress from was very impressed. It was quick and affordable. read more

The hours listed online are wrong. Apparently they close at five. The owners knew that I needed my dress today for a wedding that I am in tomorrow. I was supposed to leave tonight to go to the wedding. I got to the store at 5:10 and they were closed. There was no one to be found, and no one was answering the phone. Even if you close at five wouldn't you think you would be around for 10 more minutes especially if your hours are wrong and on the website, I will be waiting at the store until 7 PM so I can pick up my dress. If the owner sees this please call me on the number I provided you with my dress. read more

Very friendly and helpful. The quality of work was really good. I will definitely use them again when I need any alterations done.

Bad customer service. I called to check availability and price. After she told me how much she will charge, she hang up on me while I was asking her for a discount. read more

I just tried here for the first time to get a Bridesmaid dress hemmed. She was the most reasonable seamstress that I checked out of 4 locations and did a great job. Give her a try! read more

So glad to have taken my dress in here! I needed my dress taken in two sizes, and everyone was so professional and fast! It took seven days for my dress to be finished and it fits like a dream, I'll be going back for sure!!! read more

Bad customer service. I assume you gotta call first and ask for quote first. The lady gave me such an attitude when i didnt agree to do the alteration since the price is higher than what i paid for the clothes itself. Quote to quote "you wasting my time.. and i dont want to work on sunday." Smh. Maybe you should have a fixed price for consultation instead giving your customer an attitude. read more

I went to My-Le's needle to have a few pants hemmed and a couple opened up from the waist. My-Le was wonderful and she had me try on each pair to pin them to perfection. I received the pants in a timely manner, tailored perfectly, and at an affordable cost. I would highly recommend My-Le's needle! read more

Small family owned business. I came in needing a sleeve sewn on the back of a quilt, they provided the fabric (which even matched the back of the quilt, even though it wouldn't be seen) and did a great job! Really quick turn around too, would definitely recommend! read more

Awesome service!!! We were seen right away for same day alterations (hem up 2 pair of pants) very affordable pricing, recommend very highly!!! read more

I work volunteer EMS and needed to get a couple of men's uniform shirts altered to fit my non-masculine figure and My-Le did a wonderful job! Her pricing was amazing (less than half of what most places were quoting me), turn around time was super quick (only a few days and she offered to do it even quicker than that), and the quality of her work was phenomenal (you can't even tell where the original stitching ends and hers begins). She took a huge men's polo and a massive sweatshirt and tailored both of them so that they fit my slimmer, shorter and curvy frame -- now the sleeves are short enough and the torsos slim enough to not get in my way when I'm trying to treat patients. I'm definitely recommending My-Le to others at my fire station and I'm planning on taking her a whole closet of dresses that need to be altered before summer hits. read more

I've used My-Lee Needles off and on for years, and they've never let me down. They do a great job at a reasonable price. I just recently had a winter coat taken in because it's a great coat and I didn't want to give it up. They did a fantastic job ad I was very pleased! read more

My-Le is fantastic! I've been here several times to get clothing altered and recommended her to many people.

The best place ever! I got my dress fixed here and she is amazing! She is also fast at her work I took a dress there today that I need to wear Friday and it will be ready for pick up! I highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

This isn't a fancy place by any means.. but that's what makes it so great! I was so thankful to have found this place thanks to the yelp reviews. I went in during prom week to have my dress altered for a wedding 3 days away. She fitted me and corrected me on what I thought would be an appropriate height because it didn't match the sides of the dress.. which I would have never thought of. She only charged me $25 for a 3 day job. And it came out perfectly! Definitely recommend! read more

Can't recommend. Had pants hemmed. Agreed to have it done a certain way, but when I picked them up, it was not done that way and I was told it can't be done that way! Why didn't they say that in the first place!!?? Also, bunchy stitching and a bit too short. Not what I wanted. I paid, but have to have them done over. With all the great reviews, I thought they'd be good--no way to go back. read more

I have been using My-Le for about 6 years now and think she is wonderful. I have followed her to her new location. Prices are reasonable for the DC area and her turn around time is fantastic! I haven't come across anything that she can't do so far. I will keep using her as long as she is in business. read more

I wouldn't use My-Le's needle. They made all my pants too short. The person that pinned them was not the person that sewed them. I will never go back to them. read more

Came in to get my trousers shortened and tapered at the leg. Everything was quickly done at a reasonable time and the price was very affordable! Will be coming back in the future for other alterations! read more

My wife and I have used MyLe's Needle for over ten years. She is a wizard with both women's and men's alterations at very reasonable prices. She has built a very loyal following over the years and deserves that following. We wouldn't even consider anywhere else for dresses, men's and women's coats, suits, etc. A truly outstanding seamstress/tailor. read more

My-Le does great work. For a while, we thought she'd retired. But, happily, we found she had just moved. If you need any tailoring, don't hesitate to stop in and see her. She does excellent work, will tell you when you are asking her to do something that won't work out the way you think it will, and she charges reasonable prices. She's fast too! read more
