We moved back to Southern California awhile ago and one day I was washing dishes and then went to go lay down for a quick minute before starting dinner for the kids. I looked down and my diamond was gone!!!!! I cannot tell you the feeling I had in my stomach and heart. So began the hunt for my diamond by all my family members. My mom even came running over to help the hunt. She eventually found it in the garbage disposal! Thank goodness for mothers!!! After what felt like the most intense hunt I realized I didn't even have a jeweler I knew and trusted since we had moved. I did so much research that night and found Rock Martin. The next day my hubby and I went straight to Rock Martin with my ring and loose diamond in a ziplock bag. They were able to fix my ring so quickly with such attention to detail and care and the price point was so reasonable even my husband couldn't believe it. Horrible customer service…read more I was really disappointed with my experience here. I stopped in earlier today to pick out some beads and bubble letter charms. The employee initially told me she thought the bubble letter charms were around $3 each, but she wasn't 100% sure and needed to double-check. Because she was busy helping other customers, I told her I'd leave everything under my name and come back later once she confirmed the pricing. When I returned, I found that she had already threaded every letter charm onto a chain. I never asked for this service, and it was never discussed with me. She then told me the charms were actually $40 each, which was much more than I expected based on the initial estimate. I politely declined to purchase the charms and said I'd still like to buy the other beads I had selected. That's when she told me I owed a fee for the letter charms because she had put the chains through them. At no point was I asked if I wanted that done, nor was anyone tell me there would be a fee for it. I explained that I wasn't comfortable paying for a service I never requested, but she continued to insist. Because of how the situation was handled, I ended up leaving without purchasing anything. Unfortunately, they lost a sale and a future customer. Beyond that, the customer service during both of my visits felt rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming. I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing her simply by asking questions and trying to make a purchase. I value good customer service just as much as the products themselves, and this experience fell far short of that.
