My son, my mom, and I went to Junction Gelato today and my son was very sad that the whole kids section has been taken out. It was such a good idea to keep the kids busy. Perhaps the new owners could add back a few items. Getting ice cream is the perfect family outing. Just today alone we saw quite a few kids. Just my opinion of course! Also, maybe there can be more gelato flavors than ice cream flavors since it's called Gelato Junction. I will say though, the almond Gelato was devine, the staff was wonderful and it's very affordable.
After my family and I worked up a sweat from doing an escape room down the street and shopping, we wanted something to cool us down and satisfy our sweet tooth. I ordered the single scoop but split it and had two half scoops. Half was yellow cake ice cream and the offer was strawberry cheesecake. Combined made for a delicious treat but the yellow cake was superb. The staff was a friendly, portions enormous and the cost justified the quality, taste and large scoops. The tables are perfect for enjoying your dessert while catching up with loved ones. Keep doing what you're doing, Gelato Junction!
The kids scoped this place out and adored all of the options they had to chose from. Emily ended up with a rose gelato cone, Xavier had an Irish mint that would wake you up with a kick! It was a delicious end to lunch and definitely a place we would recommend to any gelato lover.
It's all about service. The gelato was good but the young women, who served me, we're fantastic. They even gave my puppy a doggy treats.
When I saw that this place has vegan gelato, I knew we had to come try it while we were in town!! They unfortunately didn't have any of their vegan gelatos this day, BUT they did have a ton of other vegan options! They had an oat milk ice cream, and a whole row of sorbet! The staff were super nice when I asked about the vegan options as well, so thank you! I got some red orange & some Italian ice sorbet, and they were so good even my non vegan partner kept eating mine! Tasty stuff!
Excellent gelato and ice cream. They offer free samples so you don't just get stuck with a flavor you dislike. And there are a lot of flavors to choose from, of both ice cream and gelato. I recommend you trying the more unusual flavors at least once! You'll be surprised how delicious those typically savory flavors are in gelato form! I like that there are the typical "safe" flavors or kid flavors for the less adventurous individuals or my kid, who shies away from those flavors that make her hesitate. They offer cups (different sizes) or cones. Friendly service, with seating inside and outside. While they offer coffees, sweets, even soups, and more...the ice cream and gelato are the reasons I come back.
First stop in but loved it. Service was nice and friendly. Ice cream was delicious and so were the shakes. The pistachio ice cream has pineapple chunks which was interesting but not my fav. I had a whole scoop though, so I can say it's good despite the strange pineapple addition. The strawberry had a jam taste throughout- good but a bit too "fake" sugary for me. My brother loved the Jack Daniels' Chocolate, and I was very much intrigued by the wine sundae (maybe next time!). They also serve hot dogs and sandwiches for lunch. Downside- a bit expensive for a cone of ice cream. I guess it's competitive with the other local places, but it seems a bit much for multiple visits. I guess it needs to be more of a "special treat" place. I spent $16 (not including tip) on two shakes and an ice cream cone. That being said, the service was awesome and definitely earned a tip. Tip your ice cream servers, especially if they're knowledgable and nice like ours was today! In sum, good place. Would come again.

My family had stopped up the street for breakfast and coffee. They didn't have any lactose free options so my little girl and I took a walk and decided to go into gelato Junction! Best treat ever! Their coffee was exactly what I needed I ordered a Carmel coconut hot latte with oat milk. They had baked goods and since we were in town celebrating my little boys I was curious if they had GF options and they did!! When I tell you those chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing was AMAZING I not joking also very reasonably priced. I truly believe this little shop has a sweet treat for anyone. read more
Delicious gelato on Main St. Easy to walk to after our dinner at The Goat. So many flavors to choose from, not just gelatos, but also ice creams. The ladies working there were speedy and knowledgeable with their recommendations. The parlor was spacious and clean. Definitely will be back again when we're in town. Such a cute little spot with delicious desserts! read more

Answering the most recent negative review: Thank you for the comment, Valerie. It is not an employee's fault that the website wasn't updated. I had checked google the day of and the times had been updated to our winter hours on there so I'm not sure why they weren't on the website. I was not sure what you wanted me to do. I said "the website must not have been updated because we change hours in the winter." And you kept repeating "your website said 6." As if there were something I could do about it. You asked if I could serve it because it's icecream. The first thing we do when we close is take the gelato out and stick it in a different freezer, while covering the icecream tubs. It would have been rock-solid and the scoops had already been washed and sanitized. Honestly you stunned me for a moment. I was dumbfounded that someone was THAT entitled that they would go to an employee of a small business and demand that they be served icecream in a closed shop because they were "supposed to be open for the next half hour." To each his own I suppose. We'd love to have you come during our business hours and hope to see you soon! read more

Ice cream, Gelato, chocolates and much more. I stopped in after eating lunch looking for a quick mobile dessert on the way back to work. I was overwhelmed by the choices. I walked in wanting chocolate ice cream and left with just that. I could have easily been swayed if I had more time to decide. They have 12 or so different flavors of Gelato. 16 or so different flavors of ice cream and tons of different toppings and sprinkles. If ice cream is not enough, they also have great looking chocolates to fix that sweet tooth. Great local sweets shop if you are visiting from out of town or are just in need. read more

I'm here from California on vacation and we stopped by to have some gelato. The girl was so nice and I asked what Ube was, since I never heard of it. And she told me it was a yam from the Philippines that tasted like buttered popcorn. So I decided to try it. OMGOSH. It's amazing. I have been telling everyone they have to try this place. Love it. read more

How much are the scoops of gelato in a cup?
I had their ice cream double scoop. I would think the gelato scoops are a similar size. The scoops are of a generous size. Mine were 3-4 inches in diameter.
