In all seriousness, this location is in a high traffic area and there's usually a line extending out the door (granted the interior's not very big). You can see the menu from afar so you can decide in advance before ordering. Let's just say I came back to this very location three times in the span of two days we spent in the city. Three scoops each time - at just $9 AUD mind you - with different flavors. I always defaulted to two fruity flavors and one savory - my favorites being blood orange and tiramisu. Seriously though, the gelato texture here is spot on; creamy, smooth, easy to eat, and most importantly, the fruity flavors aren't JACKED with sugar. That's a struggle with a lot of other places I've had, but this spot nails the true-to-taste flavor profile. I didn't even take pictures of the gelato bc I got too excited to down it all. :( But give it a try - it's some of the best gelato I've had, and it's so accessible here. A few nights later, our last night in Sydney, my son and I were finishing up dinner and looking for a treat. We remembered Freo and headed over. It was a Friday night around 9p, and when we got there the line was stretching out the door. We decided to wait. The anticipation built as we got inside, continued to make our way to the frozen yogurt and then to the counter with all of the toppings. In addition to a lot of the usual toppings, they had whole lychee, which was a wonderful surprise. We loaded up and found a seat outside. The yogurt was amazing - the perfect creamy texture with a wonderful tart flavor. It's the closest thing I've had to Yogorino in all these years, and a wonderful treat to end our adventures in Australia.

I didn't get a strong espresso flavor as it would have, but the ratio of almond bits and gelato was just right - occasionally crunchiness hidden within the creaminess of gelato. The second flavor we ordered was the poached strawberry with balsamic vinegar. The acidity from balsamic vinegar and strawberry was muted yet complimented the gelato base. I plumped for a white chocolate and hazelnut scoop in a cone (though you can also get them in a cup) and was quickly transported to 7th heaven. Sweet original doesn't change (I usually hate the originals in other froyo shops, but the original here is number one for me), and the other three can be anything from lychee to snickers.
