Didn't have a lot of time so was only able to stay for a quick drink but looking at the menu was mighty tempting. They have a wide range of options for the sweet toothed out there. Thick shake menu looks great and then the hot chocolate came in an option of either Chocolate Fudge , Honey comb and one other that slips my mind. I decided to order the Honey comb. It arrives and it had marshmallow and honey comb on the side of the plate as well as some more honey comb inside . Was beautiful . Perfect temperature and the chocolate was delicious as well . I will definitely come back to check out the rest of the menu. Friendly staff who even asked if I enjoyed it too...

In recent times, in fact the last three; the service and attitude of the staff has been getting worse. On arrival I chose the large table with a lounge, but it wasn't cleared and looked dirty. So I moved to a cleaner looking table. A waiter promptly came with water and delivered the menu. Nobody came to take my order for ten minutes. Where's my waiter? Oh there he is - on a break in another booth. Finally another waiter comes and asks what I'd like to order and at the same time gets my coffee order. More waiting and more waiting until I thought that why should I disturb anyone to follow up my orders? Today was so bad that I got up and walked out after waiting for my desert and a coffee that never came. What a horrible place and absolutely shocking service! I've had the Micky taken out of me now - forever!

And on a late weekday afternoon, they were sold out of the drinks that caught my eye. The desserts are fine, but some of the prices are so expensive that I don't feel like I'd miss out on much if I didn't get them. The average price seemed to be $28 for a dessert smaller than the size of my palm. While some of the flavors were more unique, based on the ones I tried, they weren't actually good combinations or just blended together so that you might as well be eating one flavor.

After eating dinner somewhere else, my friend and I stopped at Koi for dessert. We go there only 30 min before close, so there weren't a lot of desserts left. We tried two of them - a pandan cake and a mango dessert. They were both beautiful looking, but don't recall being blown away by the taste. And it was very expensive. I thought to myself that it was not what I hoped. But I'll give the benefit of the doubt that maybe at the end of the night all they have the less popular desserts left. Next time I'm there, I'll give it another shot.

On numerous occasions I have found myself in Moore Park, also known as the Entertainment Quarter. A…read moreconfusing name given that it's not as entertaining as many other districts. But upon these journeys to said quarter, I've often been in need of a coffee, a place to sit, a place to meet and occasionally a place to have a milkshake or smoothie. And there is a place which I have frequented more than any other place in the quarter and that place is Dolcetto's Desser Bar. Dolcetto has a small interior with seats for about 15 people, then it also has outdoor seating, both open to the weather and enclosed beneath a plastic sheet. The coffee is good coffee and the milkshakes delicious, though they never feel like they're enough. I remember when I was a kid I'd go to the Bakery Cafe and get a milkshake and it wasn't enough that they gave you the milkshake glass, they gave you the metal cup they mixed it in for top ups. But that's a different kind of place, Dolcetto is full of people dressed in suits and smart attire who journey in from their offices for lunches and coffees, often I'll see people like Mario Fenech or AFL coaches who have come in from training for a cheeky caffeine injection. Moderately priced with plenty of seating, it's not a bad place to meet.

It might sound…read morea little odd, but as soon as you spot the Campos sign, you'll know you're in good hands. The morning rush sees all the staff from the surrounding Fox Studios descend here, so there's more reason to try it out. The coffee is consistently good - even at peak times - my only gripe is that I wish they had more quick breakfast options. I bought a muffin once and it somehow managed to be both too sugary and bland. I'm told the egg and bacon rolls are delish, but that's sometimes a bit too much for a morning. With a delectable gelato display and all sorts of other cake treats, it's a bit strange that they wouldn't have some banana bread or good quality muffins on offer. I've yet to succumb to said gelato stand, but from the happy faces of the Bent Street kids I see, it seems like a worthwhile indulgence. For now though, the Campos coffee hits the spot.

I preferred the pistachio Kurtosh. The hazelnut one was like candy on top of the cone and very crunchy like candy. These are made to order so take around 10 or 15 minutes. Not really ideal for a grab and go but was worth the stop. They have a ton of other pastries as well that are pay by the pound. The kurtosh was really good, especially with coffee. It's quite good. Honestly, I'd say forget the pastry twister and go one of the Slab Cakes instead. Oh, so good! So far, my favourite has been the Catastrophe Flourless Choc Cake. Or mayyyybe actually the Lemon Crumble Cheesecake. Pretty much mention Mum's Chocolate Cake and I'm ready to trip someone over for a bite! If you can't choose, you could order a sliver of each and call it day. This is the best bit about Kurtosh - everything is sold by weight, and there's no minimum (or maximum) for what you buy. So you can literally order a sliver each of four kinds of cake. Hoorah! Extra bonus: open late so you can pop in for after dinner dessert.

Love love loved this place…read more Sunday sessions with a live band in the back courtyard. Greeted upon entry by the staff who had his hands full w on his way to deliver food to a table. I had to tell him to attend to what was in his hands before me. I like that. Not ignored just because they are doing something. To be greeted with Buonesera was a bonus!! True Italiano!! The front footpath tables, the indoor seating and the courtyard out the back provided totally different atmospheres. The staff were attentive, yet easy going. Felt right at home and even though it is on the side on pricey, don't mind paying the price for such a great ambience, and the way the staff made you feel. Enough to tend to the customer so that you can enjoy a true dining experience and the company you're in. Noticed the other patrons were Italian with family groups as well as couples. Not sure how long this place has been around, but it certainly ticks all the boxes of a good place that never fails to deliver. I'm all about the energy and this place has the right energy!!

It was "Mad Monday" so $20 for all you can salad and pizza ($10 for kids under 12). Waiters come around to your table offering you different pizzas and give you one slice of each if you want it. When we told them that 3 of us were vegetarians they seemed openly annoyed by the inconvenience and nonetheless offered us every pizza with chorizo, prawns and ham on it... When we wanted some more tap water for our table my friend saw a tray full of bottles and brought one over to us. A waiter then angrily came up behind her and without a word grabbed the bottle from her hand, ignoring her apology for taking it herself and took it away. He also yelled "hey" at a customer who almost bumped into him on their way to the bathroom. All in all the staff was incredibly rude and did not look after us at all checking for drinks etc. Two stars because the food itself was good and maybe mad Monday is an exception for them but I won't be back.
