    Strawberry Waffle & Choc Pot
    Audrey L.

Great place for dessert in the heart of Sydney's downtown area. We ordered the Strawberry Waffle with a scoop of ice-cream on the side, and the signature Choc Pot (a chocolate fondant). They were both delicious, the waffle came covered in a generous amount of melted chocolate, and the chocolate fondant is definitely popular for a reason! Would come here again on my next trip to Sydney.

This place should be illegal because it's soooooooooo goood. I miss it so much. During my holiday in Sydney, I frequented Regent Place so many times that I practically lived there. I think some of the employees remembered my partner and I. The desserts, brownies, the chocolate or caramel syrup was perfect. You do have to wait about 15 minutes for the choc pot to be made but, it comes out fresh, hot, and soooo good. The display they give the desserts in is always on point. There are no lazy days. It always looked good! Their drinks are also good. My partner tried the snickers milkshake which he loved. I recommend The Choc Pot, the Peanut Butter brownie sundae, and the honeycrumb waffle. Everything was awesome!

    Churro Choc Explosion: $15.00

Ugh. You know what? FIne. Fine Choc Pot you've gone and done it. Beautiful and delicious dessert concoctions that are as enjoyable to eat as they are to take pictures of. You win. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? The Choc Pot feels as much a high end dessert bar as it does a casual coffee shop, which is a truly dynamic vibe that I really appreciated. Service is friendly, and while the orders take a while to make (think 15 minutes or so), that's because they're made fresh to order, and that's a good thing. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Luxury desserts come at a cost, but I more or less knew this coming in, and thus didn't really bat an eyelash when my Churro Choc Explosion special came to $15.00. The portion wasn't huge, but hot damn it was worth it for a dessert that I couldn't find more or less anywhere else on the planet. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Good lord. Plain and simple? This was divine. Absolutely divine. A moist cake housed delicious liquid chocolate and caramel, and the churros used for dipping added to the dish as much as the little balls of chocolate that populated the side of the plate. Fantastic. Dual Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Absolutely, and I can't think of why anyone else wouldn't unless they hated chocolate. Star Granted.

Had a bit of a sweet tooth tonight and this seemed like a good choice and located within Regent Place where there has been a proliferation of dessert places especially anything to do with ice cream! Service was lovely. I wanted something chocolately and there is no lack of choice for that here. I went with their signature dessert of The Choc Pot. Once delivered to me it smelt so good! It was an explosion of molten chocolate once you dug into the fondant cake. Tasted great but struggled to finish it as it was so rich. I had a Red Velvet Hot Chocolate to accompany it. It was a delicious drink and definitely needed the cream cheese whipped cream to temper the sweetness too. Chocolate overload tonight but definitely worth trying!

When that late night dessert craving hits and you walk by a place that has strawberries covered in chocolate...you must indulge yourself. I had a feeling this place was going to be good as line was crazy. The ordering system off of a computer left something to be desired and seem to takes things a step back when it seemed trying to help advance. The dessert was delicious.

Diet? What diet? That's the thought that I came cross my mind since so much temptation about this place. My sister bragging about this "green tea Pannacotta latte" that cost you $12. It's bit confusing for me since Pannacotta as far as I know is set milk with some of gelatins, and they call this latte? I just don't get it! Ok, let's try l, so both of us waking into this place and have a good warm greeting from "live cheeky" staffs. So the Pannacotta was very strong on matcha flavour, and on top they have sort of jelly lychee pearls tha burst into your mouth when you bite those swimming around coconut froth ( more like soup to me rather than froth) I do like it however I think the portion a bit to big for Pannacotta that make you feel full. And for my self, I had "lemon meringue cheese cake" that cost my pocket $14, served with blueberries compote and rosemary and olive oil crumbed biscuit base. Very rich dish, even though I have a sweet tooth I feel this combination is too sweet and not enough sourness or tartness from lemon flavour curd to cut though this super sweet dessert. Not to mention that hat the meringue was soft and not crunchy. I would comeback to try different dessert for sure To try 'ninja turtle matcha brownie'

Choc fix right here... Ive been here a couple of times - i call this place the sweeth tooth delight. If you dont have a taste for sweet things there are teas available that curb your appetite for sweet things if your willing to tempt yourself. My recommendations: The souffle is usually on point. I love this with some tea and water and girls go crazy for mr souffle. The hot drinks ive had have been too milky and the desserts have been super decadent and super sweet. I dont normally finish anything here so sharing is a good idea. 2 desserts between 3 does the trick

A restaurant just dedicated to chocolate desserts is my type of restaurant. It is right when you walk in Regent Place on street level. I ordered the choc pot with vanilla ice cream. My friend had the honeycrumb waffnut and said it was amazing. My other friend had the hot fudge brownie sundae and enjoyed it as well. Mine took a little longer to come out since the choc pot needs to be baked fresh, but it was definitely worth the wait. The choc pot was filled with rich creamy molten chocolate and the outside cake was baked to perfection. The ice cream was much needed considering how rich the dessert was. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Highly recommend for anyone craving some chocolate desserts!

I went here as I walked past and saw the sign for a red velvet drink. I did a double take and circled back, ordering a red velvet hot chocolate. Can I say it was incredible, just like a hot chocolate with red velvet touch and a bit of White chocolate to top it off. Awesome. I also got a red velvet slice which was like a runny brownie with chocolate drizzled over the top. Such decadence, but delicious. The waitresses were lovely and there were plenty of customers there to enjoy some sweet treats.

The selection of truffles is good by Australian standards (about 10 flavours to choose from), but in all honesty there are some staples missing in that lot. The selection of cakes/alternative to chocolate treats is small - 4 alternatives, plus my favourite a giant white or milk chocolate lollipop with standardized messages such as "happy birthday", "i love you" and "sorry" to fit most occasions. The staff tend to be a tad pretentious - but that's probably to be expected at a place like this. And as you would expect this place is a little on the more expensive side of things - an individual truffle is $1.50 and a coffee is around the $4.50 mark (but hey, you get the a free truffle with that so maybe it isn't bad). If you work near by this place it's pretty disastrous for you - or at least your weight -because you're bound to become addicted.

It is nice and dark and I love the fact that you get a piece of chocolate with it. I always have to get the Dark Chocolate Dinosaur because I get the hot chocolate drink and my kids get the piece of chocolate, fair trade I suppose. The only thing annoying is that this place has a $15 minimum for card/eftpos. I hate carrying coins and money, so I sometimes overspend just to get 1 hot chocolate. Hopefully they will change their system soon. They now have a bowl when you order a hot chocolate and you can pick from the bowl, but don't be fooled you can still pick your own chocolate with any hot drink order.
