LOOK NO FURTHER. Since my long-time computer tech went over to the Mac Side several years ago, I have been plagued by a succession of self-styled "experts" who had progressively nudged my computer into pretty much total FUBAR. The last one of these had set up a system that he clearly did not know how to (a) install correctly or (b) program, and developed an attitude when I asked him to actually make it work. A few months ago, someone on NextDoor posted that Scott St. Gelais had fixed their computer issues, and someone else added an unsolicited comment endorsing said Scott. I figured what the hell, called, and left him a voicemail. Scott promptly returned the call. Not long after, he was here and checking my system. Within the hour he had diagnosed the problems and set about fixing them. (Among other things, the previous idiot "expert" had replaced an element that didn't need replacing, and failed to replace an element that did.) Also, Scott got our networked system cooperating the way it was supposed to but frustratingly never had. There have been occasional glitches (usual computer stuff) since then, but Scott has always responded like lightning, and fixed them either remotely or onsite. You also need to know that his fees are beyond fair. So if you want a Computer Geek who REALLY knows his stuff, is honest, prompt, and easy to work with, look no further. This is your guy. read more

Oh my ! Oh my ! Thanks a ton Mr.Scott. You deserve more than a thanks man ! ! In a word, "Geeks in Phoenix" are the best. They saved me huge. I love to take pictures, and I am a photographer by hobby. couple of weeks ago suddenly my desktop computer restarted automatically couple of times and then no matter how many time I was pressing the power button of the CPU it wasn't starting. Then I asked one of my nephew ( He is also bit of computer freak too ) to take a look on to it. He said me my hard-disk is dead. I was like : " I am doomed ! ! ". Cause I had 138 GB photograph collection that I have shooted over past 2 years. Then with one of my friend's reference I went to "Geeks in Phoenix" and asked them whether it is possible to recover data from it. They welcomed me and described me the possibilities. And they asked for 5 days to recover it. At them moment I first talked to Mr.Scott I knew they are some knowledgeable guys on computers. So I had some good feelings about my HDD. And voila ! ! After 5 days my 138GB collection was back again :D :D. Nothing else could make me happy that day. And again they found my cpu fan was not working so they replaced that too. I am very much pleased and happy with my experience with "Geeks in Phoenix". Thanks once again to Mr. Scott. read more

I wrote one before, like two years ago and Scott was a rockstar helping me out over the phone. I finally got around to bringing him one of my laptops. hard drive issue, a mounting thing and a bios problem. So i drop of the box, figuring it would take some time and I wasn't in a big rush or anything. So I check in with Scott the next day. He's fixed it, tells me it only took him twenty minutes or so and I ask him how much and he tell me he'll just write it off as a free diagnostic. Well, that's just not acceptable to me! Had to force feed him a payment! I'm bringing two more boxes for him to fix. if you want an actual HONEST computer repair guy, this is the only place in PHOENIX to go. I cannot say enough good things about Scott. I'd say I trust my life with him, and I do, my data is my life and it could not be in better hands that Geeks in Phoenix and Scott. it's the sort of experience that renews your faith in God, and man! read more

I have a complex, one off, high-end gaming computer, used not for gaming but large video editing projects. ....and had confusing problems with it, restarting after shut-down, slow fire-up, loss of ability to print through wi-fi, and NOTHING acted as it should. So, called Scott at Geeks-in-Phoenix. He experienced more 'quirks' and did his usual in-depth analysis. The result was that he isolated an odd failure in the motherboard, unlike anything I could find from advisers on the net. I have system the system back now, for what seemed to me a very fair price. ...with new and better motherboard, more and more modern ports (USB 3.1, lightning, and power-on USB). ....faster C: drive. My 3 internal work drives were put back in working order with no loss of data (huge relief). The system is faster than ever, and all programs and connections came up instantly. SUMMARY: You can't ask for more. read more

Scott! This is my now forever home when it comes to computer issues! I had been having the same issues with my PC (custom-built) for years! Ever since I got it I had been having the same issues, no one could help! I took this into Scott and he started walking me through his plans and what he would do to help. After he explained his plans he pointed out a few things I could do to improve the functionality and aesthetic of my PC. It is running perfectly now and if I ever come up with any issues in the future he will be my first call. Amazing service, amazing turnaround, very kind, the best experience I could ask for. Thank you Scott! Amazing experience! (Written from NOW WORKING AFTER 3 YEARS PC) :) read more

Had put together a gaming PC in the first time in a decade. Everything seemed fine at first, but within the 1st day I started having issues. After trying to figure it out myself I took it to Scott. Scott wasn't my first choice but as I called around town he was the only one that would let me drop it off that day ( new years eve / Friday) everyone else asked me to drop it off on Monday. Scott was professional and efficient. I got a call 2 hours later, he had diagnosed the problem. I picked up my computer, ordered the replacement part he said was bad, installed it and indeed that fixed everything. If I ever have any problems in the future he is now my go to guy. read more

Scott at Geeks in Phoenix has saved our company time and money with his excellent services. He has done a great job of getting us up to speed and up to date with the latest technologies. When we converted to a new computer system he was terrific at getting us up and running when he said he would, and always being available with advice and expertise to keep us running. I have worked with many IT specialists in my over 30 years in business, but he has surpassed them all with his customer service. And he never speaks 'geek' to us, but makes sure we understand what is going on in terms we can understand. I highly recommend their services! read more

Make it 6 starts. Scott just completed the fourth perfect computer fix for me. ...perfectly, with extras (added a monitor program to prevent future recurrences). ...ahead of schedule. i build my own gaming level machines (not for games, but HD/4K video editing), and can usually fix myself. Many services won't work on such machines, but Scott understands them easily. Such 'smarts' aren't easy to find. Go for it; trust him; prices have been better then fair. ..the real deal. read more

I knew I had quite a task in front of me to configure my new computer to a similar setup & layout of my old 1. Add a new OS & things became challenging very quickly. Scott got me off to a good start by transferring my old profile to my new computer & that made a huge difference. And yes, the price to transfer was VERY reasonable. Computers can be stressful @ times & Scott was there to put some sanity back into the situation. Thanks. Lee read more
