Kudos deserved in our humble opinion for Ty and team Geek on our roof project. The initial presentation of the GAF lifetime "System" and warranty were impressive, and we were further lured by the prospect of energy savings and a cooler upstairs through installation of the new (to us) venting technology. And we noticed that several houses in the neighborhood used Geek, even though we suspected they probably were not the lowest bidder. The crew themselves were also impressive, with efficient teamwork and apparent good comradery. They kept us updated daily with progress reports complete with pictures from "up there." One day they made sure before they left that a remaining section was covered during a brief summer rainstorm. They also replaced a long rotten upper fascia board on an eave for us, and kept at it until the sections fit together better. They worked long hours, and one day Ty even made a courtesy call on the surrounding neighbors around us to gain their permission before the crew did some weekend work. Impressive, overall! Shortly after Geek completed their work on our roof, we were persuaded (by the apparent experience and reasonable cost during bid) to contract with two other members of the team (Jose and Kevin) to perform various other needed exterior projects. They removed, replaced, caulked and painted several cracked boards of cement siding. One board was above leaking garage windows so they removed it and scraped off my lousy caulking job and installed missing metal flashing above and over the lip of the windows instead. They replaced a rotted security light mounting block and helped with the wiring. They also replaced and painted some rotted trim and fascia boards and missing shake shingles high up on the front siding. Finally, they replaced several torn window screens to keep the bugs out. The quality of workmanship, skill and pride were evident in the attention to detail in every aspect, the careful dismantling and cutting to avoid damage, the seamless fit and smooth caulking and blending of paint. The versatility, stamina and perseverance were impressive, and the friendly communication was welcomed. We anticipate their soon return for other repairs recently discovered or long neglected. read more

Replace roof Geek roofing was amazing and went beyond quality service. I met Jared in a store as I was checking him out and learned what a wonderful man he was in the first 20 minutes. I did not know he owned Geek roofing at the time. We talked God.:) He told me his business at the end when I asked about his hat. His brother Alex ( who was also wonderful) and Jared came to my home to give me a quote. They noticed the dip on top of my garage immediately. Both of them had a very warm presence. In my heart I felt they were honest and truthful. They explained everything and the whole process. The team arrived on a Weds morning and completed Friday night. 3 days and a lot of work. The team never stopped. Only for lunch and water breaks. Ty, another brother who was also wonderful was working all 3 days along with sending me videos and photos consistently. All of them were amazing and I don't feel I would have gotten this service with the other roofing company's that I quoted. I felt SAFE with them. I recommend Geek roofing to all needing a new roof! The whole team at Geek Roofing were incredible from start to finish. Our HOA got over 10 bids for a new roof for 8 townhomes in our complex. The Geek bid wasn't the cheapest but they were very competitive and for the scope of work, they were the best by far. We needed additional ventilation added for our units and Geek had the most complete bid to address our concerns. They were completely transparent the whole bid process. Alex who handled their bid was amazing at working with all of our HOA tenants. They had a project manager Ty who updated all of the HOA units 3 times per day with pictures and how the project was going. They also cleaned up every night and rolled a big magnet around the properties to pick up nails. They put out safety cones each day and had safety as a top priority. Geek got our whole HOA project done in 6 days! The humidity in our unit has dropped by 8% since the new ventilated roof was installed! I did a ton of research to make sure our HOA got the best roof for the price and Geek exceeded our expectations. I used Geek Roofing for replacing a roof at my rental home property. I had absolutely great and amazing experience. They provided a very compelling quote right away. Once, I decided to work with them, they kept in loop regularly on scheduling the installation date. The installation was scheduled fairly quickly. The project manager and the original quote provider (Ty and Steven) set up a group SMS and provided accurate and timely updates with details and pictures. They completed the work on schedule and on budget. There were no surprises in terms of charging extra (which is always a possibility when replacing a roof given you may need extra plywood sheets - and often this is only evident after removing existing roof tiles). They were easy to work with given my busy work schedule. At the end of the project, they explained well how the warranties for the workmanship and the roofing material will work. Geek Roofing is awesome. I dread 'cold calling' for any type of home repairs. I am not very handy so it's important to find someone responsive and someone I can trust. I had a great experience with all aspects of GEEK. From the quick response to the timely thorough inspection I felt at ease right out of the gate. I was dreading getting our roof done as I have had some terrible experiences with contractors. Out of the 5 quotes we got, Geek was the only one willing to take on our side shed and front porch. The slope on them was too low for shingles and the other contractors wouldn't touch them. Geek had no problem getting us a reasonable quote and working with us and our needs. They were very professional and communicated with us the entire way. We did have some small miscommunications however, that is always the case I have found with contracting work out. What was amazing to us was how easy it was to iron those things out with them, they did what they said they would do, on time and within budget. Not sure you can expect much more. Had my roof replaced back in April. During the project, everything went great. I even left a 5 star review at the time. Fast forward to October, and I am having my house painted. The general contractor has found a few areas where the roofing work was sub par. Some facia boards that should have been replaced were not. And the one that was replaced was with interior wood, not exterior treated wood. And the metal flashing from my first story roofline to the second floor of my house was not properly reattached, which caused the siding to pop loose. As far as the customer care goes, Geek was great. I'm not sure if they were rushing to get to the next job and cut a few corners on our project. read more

The entire Geek Roofing team was very professional and considerate. I was concerned about mature plants being damaged and they took extra care by covering the shrubs with lightweight tarps (with holes in them). It was a two-day process, and at the end of the first day they cleaned up the entire exterior before they left for the evening. They were very organized and I received progress updates and photos from the team manager, Ty, and his assistant, Lorenzo, throughout the day. During the entire project Ty and his team took pictures constantly and texted my husband and I at least twice daily with updates. The team was an unstoppable force and, despite having to tack on a lot more work due to something that was discovered during the removal of the old roof, they FINISHED THE ENTIRE PROJECT IN 2 days plus 2 hours, so 50 HOURS TOTAL- from start to completion. This was a big project with reshingling and the addition of solar shingles. The solar was estimated to equal my annual electric usage from previous years. It took about a week to complete. I was impressed by the hard work of the crew and the oversight of the project throughout. I was present through most of the project and surprised that the noise was less than I expected and did not disrupt my day. He also inspected my roof for moss and found that the last moss treatment he did was still working and no additional work needed to be completed at this time.
