Omelet sausage breakfast sandy, chocolate croissant and Americano
Alan G.

Coffeehouse/cafe with a cool vibe, with a limited menu of food but a wide range of coffee and other drinks, including local beers. Enjoyed their sausage egg and cheddar breakfast sandwich which was premade but livened up on the panini grill. Their chocolate croissant was delicious warmed up. The Americano was high quality as was the iced ube latte. Service was friendly and pretty efficient too

I've come here a couple times to WFH out of the house. There's lots of seating options but it can get busy! It's a great concept bringing the outdoors indoor and great reading material around the room. Coffee and my food was great! Will be back.

Such a cool place!! The only downside is I never came sooner. I've been seeing signs for this place and finally decided to visit and it is such a cool concept. A gear rental place/lounge/cafe. Came to study and it was absolutely packed. Luckily there's a lot of space and seats and outlet. I got a lavender latte and I'm obsessed! Usually lavender lattes are too subtle and not very flavorful but this one had such a strong lavender flavor it was perfect. They also play great music and the overall vibes there are pretty nice

Cafe latte. Could've been better.

Spacious and nice ambiance but the coffee was a bit disappointing. Compared to other coffee shops the price was slightly higher yet my coffee tasted a bit burned. Just didn't have that great taste I expect from a well-made latte. Also, it turned bubbly (not foamy) couple of minutes after I received it. Bummer since the service was good! The space is cool and would make a good place to meet up with friends or to get work done. This cafe seems best for the people who joined their program and for those looking for nice aesthetics.

Super cute little cafe! Came here to do a little reading in the evening. They didn't have any baked goods (but we came later in the day), so I ended up getting their house made lemonade which was pretty refreshing. They offer burritos and a nice size coffee menu. Lots of seating inside and a really cool spot if you're looking for local and outdoorsy things to do! Looks like a wonderful place to meet new people!

Stopped by Basecamp Coffee today and ordered a 12 oz iced latte and a dirty chai. The total came out to $16, which felt steep given the taste. Unfortunately, the drinks were nothing to write home about At this price point, I expected something more enjoyable. Additionally, the barista taking our order was constantly playing with her hair, which was unappealing and didn't give the best impression of cleanliness. There are far better coffee shops in the area, in my opinion, but I wanted to try this one given all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype, and I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return.

What a cozy café with delicious high-quality coffee, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere. The space is huge! Lots of seating, perfect place to read, work, hangout, relax, play some board games. They serve specialty drinks like espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and cold brews, along with locally sourced pastries. This is a Perfect space for outdoorsy lovers and cafe lovers.

Bright and open cafe with a strong sense of community. There are a lot of tables and seating area where people were working or chatting and there were a lot of flyers and information about gear rentals and events at the cafe itself. I just stopped by for a quick espresso (which was good) but I'm looking forward to coming back

I've been to basecamp on two separate occasions and both times it's been packed and lively! It's a true third space location -- there was even a poetry group meeting at the table next to me. They also host numerous events and the last time I went was their trivia night! I would say to be mindful of their calendar of events since it got pretty loud as I was studying. You can also rent gear here which is pretty cool :) I ordered an iced caramel macchiato ($7.17) and it was really good!! They also have beer on tap which gives variety to the usual coffee and tea found at cafes. Also I thought the workers here were really friendly! They're located right in cap hill and I love that they're one of the few cafes open so late (7pm-9pm depending on the day). Also there's tons of seating even with how packed it gets!

Basecamp is a super cute coffee shop with great vibes! It is located close to the cap hill link station, making it a convenient place to stop by. I really like the ambiance of this cafe, it feels very cozy and is great for studying, catching up with friends, or playing games with friends (they have a great collection of board games!) It can get pretty crowded but the cafe is relatively large so I haven't struggled to find a place to sit yet. Their drinks are good, nothing special, but I will be back again for the vibes!

Busy coffee shop that you can also rent outdoor gear from. Lots of different seating options; it seemed like a lot of people were working and studying here. We walked so unsure how the parking would be.

There is a wall of glasses in different sizes to suit your needs and over 50 beers, ciders, ales, kombuchas. Etc. on tap to explore at your own pace! They didn't have any food to purchase but they were making fresh popcorn available to munch and cleanse your palette for feee. We used the small tasting glasses to try a variety of their offerings and look forward to coming back for more! They have TV's so you can watch the game and the day we were there there was a painting class going on that had the whole room packed. So, if you're looking for a low key way to host a group where alcohol is available they are clearly a great option! Give them a try!

I'm first and foremost a kombucha girly, so I tried a few of them before getting a full glass of what I really liked. I also had a glass of a dark beer that I really liked with lots of notes of chocolate and coffee. They also had an alcoholic lemonade that was super dangerous at like 12% and super sweet. The food selection is lacking, but we did order a pretzel that come with a yummy and spicy cheese sauce. The ambiance is really chill, clean, and has a cool swing set. When we were Yelping where we should go for a light bite and some drinks-- all the other spots around us weren't giving us the vibe that Tapster did. Service was great, it was my first time so they explained how the cards work and encouraged us to try different things and how all of the taps were organized. Don't forget to leave you drink card in the box before you leave!

All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

They gave us these post cards to write down our individual drinks. FYI - this place requires using your smart phone to scan a QR code for the menu. We ordered 2 apps (salmon dip with pita chips & chips and cheese dip) I ordered fish and chips. Buddy got the meat loaf. Our beer showed up quick. Waiter always checked on us often. Our apps showed up and they were both delicious. Then 5 minutes later our main dish orders showed up. Wasn't too happy with that because we wasted time to taste our beers and snack on the apps. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough. If they can work on timing the drinks and food this place would be a 5 out 5, but will deduct a star because of that. The overall vibe of the place was nice. Huge layout with wooden picnic style tables. Outdoor tables if you're lucky to get one. Large tanks to brew beer surrounding the room and a merch table.

They are kid and dog-friendly, too. We ordered an NA IPA (which they have on tap!) and their hop water (comes in a can). Both beverages were absolutely delicious. I love that this place is NA-friendly. They offer some light snacks and free pretzels, which is awesome for a brewery without a kitchen. There is a food truck on site, but it was closed when we visited. No worries, though, you can bring outside food, which is perfect since there are plenty of great restaurants in the area. I asked the bartender if they brew at this location, and he said they've moved all brewing to a different location in Seattle, but it's still super fresh and tasty beer all around. There are several beers and some ciders on tap from all around and all the ipa's I've tried here have been pretty decent. from there you grab your brew and have a seat at high top tables within the tap room. Again, the setting is mid-sized good for a couple groups of four and a few two person tables. Music is at a decent volume and is lit dimly making it decent for a date spot or just a place to have conversation without raised voices. Fridges line the tap room so you can mix and match beers, ciders and wines to take out which is cool. I like Bottleworks, I want to enjoy it more, but there are some issues holding me to 3 stars. The staff are...alright. Not bad, but I feel could be a little friendlier. Also they don't allow sample pours? This is a common thing at most breweries, but maybe it's because this is a tap room, but beers run a bit higher here - $8-9 a pour so that's annoying that you can't even try a couple. Lastly, they rotate things out it seems weekly. Some of the more popular options I suppose they keep but seems like a lot of turn around on the drinks so if you like something they have on tap, don't get too attached. Perhaps on subsequent visits It will improve, and I can boost the score here, but besides the decent beers and setting, it's just OK here.
