He said it was not properly repaired and not checked before leaving the shop. A week later, another trip to Elko to pick up the repaired radiator. This time, it was fixed and the manager handed me my check back and said something that I will never forget: "We can get checks anywhere. Customer are more important." I've only had to get a radiator repaired once since this experience and you bet that A-1 was the place I went! The same manager still works there and does an awesome job!

Brandon picked our call and was very understanding and helpful. Headed to Reno, Elko is just about half way and there a Maverik station here. It took around $120 to fill this thing. This Maverik is not exactly right off the freeway, but I like these stations cause they have a huge store attached with clean restrooms and a ton of road food or even real food like burgers and stuff I think. I just needed to fill my big thermo coffee mug and get some Funyons and Doritos! Yeah, road food. I do have other people to drive as well so I'm not stuck driving the whole way. The gas pumps scan the credit card with no problem and that's better than some of these cheeepie off brand places where you don't know if there's some credit card scam going on. We all used the restrooms and climbed back into the Suburban and off we go, maybe we can make it all the way to Reno without stopping.
