Gaytàn's kitchen is a veritable diamond in the rough.
We were lucky enough to stumble on an unmarked breakfast spot (but for for the waving flags street side and at the entry porch).
We were greated with smiles from everybody working on a Saturday morning before the crowds woke.
The locale used to be a catering commissary, today it is a cozy aromatic retreat for all those that are hungry and ready to sit and relax takeaway on the ho or call ahead or pick up.
Sadly, I missed getting photos of our plates, chiliquilles and a breakfast burrito. Both were very yummy.
I made sure to also grabbed some peach cobbler and a cinnamon roll for the road.
After a couple of drip coffees we were still under $40 for all of the food.
There was a steady flow of people in and out, sitting down and picking up during the hour we ate and commiserated.
Amazing and satisfying in all the ways.
