But we found Andaluz Family Mexican Restaurant and were greeted by really friendly waitresses who got us seated, helped us find something we each liked on the big, diverse menu. Before too long, the food came out and was amazing. Fresh, hot, tasty flavors of authentic Mexican cuisine. It reminded me of delicious meals I've enjoyed while teaching at various universities in Monterey, San Luis Potosí and Tijuana where the students take me to one of their favorite local spots.
