In town for the night from So Cal, there wasn't much to choose from so I went with the place that I felt had the best and most honest reviews in yelp. This small place was amazing! I usually take pics of everything I eat but when my food came to the table it looked so good I just started eating . I ordered a beef tostada and a ceviche tostada, they were both crisp, flavorful and filling. My husband ordered tacos and he enjoyed every last bite. My sis had a lengua torta and that too was delicious, I was able to get a couple of bites in before it was all gone. The salsa that was recommended (best on birria) went great on everything we had, it did have a bit of a kick to it but nothing too hot to handle. We all agreed this food reminded us of trips to Mexico, fresh and authentic. Prices are reasonable and the staff was very friendly. If you're looking for something fancy this is not it, but if you want super yummy authentic grub I highly recommend this place. read more

Absolutely wonderful and authentic Mexican food. They were so helpful. I love Tripa tacos and they made them fresh even though they weren't selling them today and then they gave me a complementary Horchata. I will be back. It was such a delicious lunch!! read more

We were passing through Quincy and stopped here for lunch. I had a tostada and my husband had the burrito special. Both were very good, the burrito has a lot of cheesy yumminess! The server (perhaps the owner?) was friendly and efficient! Glad we stopped! read more

Food was delicious. We ordered tacos & tostadas, and they came out steam hot and fresh. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. If we're ever back in Quincy, we're eating here again. read more

Had the best burrito ever!!!! If we are ever back in this area again, this will be a definite stop.

If you aren't from town and I only say that because if you're a local you already know about this place and how amazing it is. You can't ever miss with any kind of torta. Honestly anything on menu is godly amazing especially the fried fish. I highly recommend this place when in town. read more

If you're passing through town, PLEASE stop by here and get some food. Such an amazing experience. My coworker and I went in for some food after a long drive and one of the owners greeted us. We asked what was good and he went through all the options and told us his favorites and the ones that use grandma's recipe. We ended up getting quesadillas and tacos. When I tell you I almost melted off the booth when I bit into the quesadilla. It felt like we were invited into their house and were eating in their kitchen. I tried the extra spicy sauce and it is not for the faint of heart, but if you like spicy like me I'd highly recommend it. The experience has already been amazing, but the kicker was when the co-owner offered us a free soda AND a free tamale. We didn't bring up wanting extra stuff so it was such a touching surprise. It pains me to know I'll probably never go back to eat here again. Highly recommend!!! read more

Never had a bad meal here!! Been coming since high school Quesadillas and tortas are the best!!

They served me when I arrived just before closing due to low census. Very good food and excellent service!

If you love authentic Mexican food... this place is always good. What more can you say?

A group of us stopped here on a summer day after hiking at Ancient Lakes. It's not on the main drag, so if one of the hikers hadn't lived nearby to know where Tacos Jalisco was, we wouldn't have known it was here. It's a butcher shop and taco shop and the horchata is delicious! We had tacos, burritos and one of us got a torta....all were cheap and tasty. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in Quincy at dinner time read more

This is one of those places that the locals say is authentic Mexican food some of which it is. As a native to Arizona let me tell you this is some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had. Everything I tasted (pork and chicken tacos and verde burrito) lacked flavor. Even their salsa was completely bland. Do yourself a favor and go home and make your own tacos they can't get worse than this place. Food Guy Out! read more

Stay away from the Torta's not good, very very weak. Solid Taco's and they are very friendly, but I prefer another quincy place a few blocks away which is way better. read more

Best burritos we have ever had. Try the special burrito with everything on it. Would not have found this place if it wasn't for the Yelp app. read more

Tacos Jalisco is as authentic as it gets. They just recently started accepting credit cards and speaking english there. I discovered it in high school and it's been a first stop when I come home ever since. The whole menu is pretty solid as long as you aren't expecting some fancy shmancy meal you would never actually find in Mexico. I always go for the carne asada tacos with cilantro, some salsa, and a cool glass of horchata (rice water) to wash it down. Make sure to snag some sweet bread from the Mexican bakery right next door. read more

I'm praying they went back to Grandmother's recipes. I've been eating it for 10 years every time I visit that area and four days in a row every time but the burrito was changed. Seriously I just can't say enough about how important that burrito is or was to me. Kills me they changed it Me continuing to eat there is totally dependent on whether or not they went back to grandmother's recipes because everything was gold but last year I was informed she had retired and then they messed with the best food I've ever eaten in my life . in fact I didn't even finish my beloved burrito. I had about three bites and asked what happened and walked out hungry. I'm not so much mad as destroyed that the best thing I've ever eaten on this planet has disappeared. If it's back I'll repost say my life is worth living! read more

These burritos are off the chain!!! 7 bucks for a massive burrito that comes to your table hot! Ask them for some salsa and they'll serve some in a cup for you and it makes the burrito good! read more

This place has been around almost my entire life. Same little old lady still takes your order. The food is great. The prices aren't too bad but best of all, it's really home made. The place could be a bit more inviting and updated but it's about the food I guess. Don't forget to Wash it all down with a nice cold Horchata!! read more

Best Mexican food I have ever had. Their burritos are awesome and you can't go wrong with the salsa. If for some godforsaken reason you are passing through Quincy you owe it to yourself to go here. You will not regret it. I bought many a burrito for lunch during school here and they have always been the best. P.S. they have 1/2 liter cokes in the glass bottles which is really they only way pop should be drank. read more

At first glance this place does not look like one you might want to stop at, much less eat... But we got past that initial impression and ordered burritos, chips and salsa and sodas. The portions were huge, but it was really good. Very authentic (we've been to Mexico City many times). The señora at the counter was very welcoming and the food showed up fast! read more

This is the best Mexican food in the area. Don't be worried about the dining area when you walk in. Its always clean and very friendly people work there. read more

I stopped by this establishment while driving through Washington. I asked a few locals where they would recommend I have dinner. It turned out to be a fantastic hole in the wall! I tried the Carne Asada and it was delicious! The food was very authentic. Some of the best mexican I have had in some time. The staff was very friendly and fast. read more

It's good... just a basic good. The tortas are my go to; they are huge and I can't ever finish one. It takes a little while to receive the food, but not too bad. It's a decent restaurant. Not the best, not the worst. However, It does satisfy my craving of Mexican food. read more

I unexpectedly ended up in Quincy, WA for some vehicle repairs after a little off-roading expedition in the Chevy. I noticed this place, since it was right down the block from the repair shop (Broz Auto). Decided to give it a try and we were so glad we did. This place was part store, part restaurant. We tried an assortment of tacos and tortas which were all delicious and very authentic. We left with full stomachs and a few Mexican ingredients to take home all for a great price. read more

If I could give negative stars I would but it won't let me. I ate here yesterday and I ended up with food poisoning. I will NEVER eat here again. Idle hour is the only restaurant I would recommend in Quincy. read more

The best place for tacos and tortas! Recommend this little place to everyone! Customer service is beyond excellent.

Love this place. Its been around for years and is a popular lunch spot for good reason.

Quincy has a lot.of Mexican restaurants, this one is my.personal favorite. 100% authentic. Prices are great, zero atmosphere but I go there for the good food, or you can take out and eat it at home. read more

A great little restaurant with wonderful food. Not much to look at, you order at the counter but totally worth it. Excellent Carne asada, rice and beans served with warm tortillas, get a side of chips and salsa and a cold beer, its a mini Mexican vacation. read more
