What a fantastic find just off the highway! If you're hungry for authentic Mexican food served with the best service, this is the place. The chicken enchiladas are delicious. Some of the best Mexican food in the state! This place as what you would expect from a family operated authentic Mexican restaurant. It reminds me of some of the local small business restaurants I have visited in Mexico and the freshness, flavor and menu really take me back to those places. Friendly and caring service. If staying at the new Holiday Inn Express hotel in George, it's an easy walk to it. read more

What everyone else said. Delicious food, remarkable service. Looking forward to coming back when we're out this way again.

This is great hole in the wall place serving traditional Mexican fares. The food was delicious, we tried their street tacos. The birria was very flavorful and so was the Mexican chorizo. I devoured the tacos! The salsa was very delicious as well. The service was great. All in all very friendly people servicing some really delicious food. We will definitely visit again :) read more

Was in town so I stopped for dinner. What a find!! I ordered the Supreme Fajitas and which had steak, shrimp, chicken and chorizo. Portion was huge and delicious. Service was excellent. If your passing through George, it is worth stopping in. read more

I wanted to give 0 stars but it didn't allow me to do that , food was terrible, made me sick later, the service was okay, There were boxes everywhere, on tables and counters, and children were sitting behind the bar unbelievable und this was supposed to be the best Mexican restaurant in town....... read more

The restaurant is very outdated, tables and chairs look old! Very dark inside the restaurant and menus look dingy! The service was lacking I asked for a drink sample and I literally got a table spoon for a sample! I tried to order carnitas and they were out of them at 1pm?!?! It took them over 20 minutes to make 6 tacos!! The food lacked flavor and the tortillas were ok. The food is not good at all the salsas are too spicy even the mild ones!! read more

Great service, generous portions, reasonable prices. The entire place brought me back to Mexico. We had a couple different tacos and each of them were executed very well. The fish tacos were still crispy when we ate them (sometimes they get soggy indicating they aren't as fresh). Salsa and chips were on the house and I appreciate that. Definitely will come back if I'm in the area If you're coming by towards closing, give them a call and see if they are still open! read more

This restaurant is near Microtel hotel (5 min walk). Food was good! As another reviewer noted, it is decorated in Mexican & Central American decor. Staff can speak English & Spanish. Waitresses are friendly & had nice smiles. If you're coming to a festival or driving through, well worth it to eat something here. They also have horchata, Jimica, fresa juice & cocktails/alcohol. Menu is straightforward & I love that they had pictures. This restaurant has a lot of space & I imagine locals frequently visit. It was Saturday when I made this review, a family celebrated a 5 year old girl's birthday. Full bar, pool, patio, & bar stools are available. Overall food & service was great! I think the restaurant could make some cosmetic changes so customers can feel more comfortable (decor, ventilation, etc) if they felt like it. read more

If there was a 6 star rating, this place would get one. If you are looking for a taste of authentic Mexican food, you must check this place out. The building is definitely rustic, but clean. The service was amazing and the servers had genuine joy, friendliness and kindness. The food? Wow! I've had a lot of Mexican food, both in the states and all over Mexico (including non tourist areas) and this place beats them all. The portions were big! No skimping on the meat here. My husband and I shared the fajitas and still took some home. The homemade guacamole was made fresh as was all the rest of the food. We live in Wenatchee, but will definitely make the trip again (with friends in tow.) read more

Delicious food and great service! Highly recommend! The Camarones cocktail was perfect.

The food was good but I feel there could have been better descriptions. The portions are smaller than what you'd expect. Especially for the price. There were also some food items we received cold. The experience on the other hand was not good. When going into the bathroom there's smells and your instructed to not flush the toilet paper... so there's a trash can with just used toilet paper, which was really disgusting. The place overall just seemed run down and not clean. read more

This is place has the best Mexican food I've had in Washington state. They started us off with chips and salsa. The salsa tasted very fresh and had a nice kick of spice to start us off - my I got the special of the day - steamed meat tacos. 2 cabeza and two rib meat tacos. My partner got 3 sopes - birria, cabeza and rib meat. The sopes came out hot and fresh. The vegetables, queso fresco and sour cream were all fresh and paired with delicious fried masa bottom. The rib meat was tender, fresh, juicy with a delicious beefy flavor. Cabeza - was so fresh, fatty and creamy. Some of the best cabeza meat I have had. The birria was good but slightly on the drier side. I highly recommend the cabeza or rib meat special if it is available. To top it off all of the salsas and sauces were great. The tomatillo salsa had a nice sour lime flavor and tasted great. There was also a habenero sauce and a cilantro cream sauce. Both were tasty but I preferred the cilantro lime on the sopes. Authentic delicious Mexican food. read more

This unassuming restaurant off Exit 149 in George, WA has indoor seating, a dessert case, & delicious Mexican food. I ordered the tacos (Carne Asada & Birria) and they were delicious. Not too salty or mushy. Service was excellent. Super friendly without seeming fake or overwhelmed. Enjoy! read more

The food was great! Prices were reasonable, and the portions were perfect. It was definitely a hole in the wall, but 100% worth the visit.

Food, 10/10, customer service, 10/10. Staff made us feel like family. Restaurant is outdated but honestly WHO CARES with food that great. The owner gave us a free appetizer to welcome us. Great people. Great stop before visiting the gorge and spending the same amount of money, if not more, on bullshit food they have at the gorge. Would much rather spend my money on authentic Mexican food with leftovers for later! This will be our new stop for dinner before going to the gorge for a show! read more

Amazing. Delicious. Bonus tacos and everyone was kind and generous. The enchiladas were meaty and the salsa selections were ample. Friend got the tacos Burria and they were perfect with the dipping sauce. read more

No nonsense, no frills, honest, delicious food and friendly, attentive, exceptional service. We'll make this a regular stop.

So good! Well worth the stop when traveling through. Food was amazing and the service was top notch.

On a drive from Spokane to Bellingham, we needed something to eat. As we were getting close to George, I spotted this Mexican restaurant that seemed like good price. It is slightly beyond the beaten path, but not munch. And entering you can tell it's a genuine Mexican establishment. Lots of decorations and trinkets you only see in places where the majority of customers are of Mexican or Central American descent. The food proved that it's the case. The service was friendly, and the bathrooms clean. All in all, a good stop if you're in the neighborhood. read more

This place saved the day after a complete failure at another restaurant. The staff are super friendly and helpful. When asked about vegetarian choices, our server said "we will make anything on the menu vegetarian." The food was well portioned, hot, and tasty. The owner came out to make sure we were satisfied with our food. There is lively music playing. There is a bar. A lot of local workers as well as rock climbers were seated. You can even buy western boots and hats in a small mercantile section. Great place. read more

The restaurant is owned and run by a family from Guanajuato, so expect authentic Mexican food. Service was very quick and nicely packed in a to go box for me. The atmosphere is spacious, but nothing fancy everything was clean and neat including in the bathroom. The prices were very moderate, so if one is in the mood for Mexican food, this is probably the best place to stop in a very small town. read more

We were randomly passing through George and it was close to dinner time. We hadn't planned to eat here, but when we drove by the strip mall Mi Lindo is located in, I decided to look it up. Seeing it described by a number of people on Yelp as "the best Mexican food in WA State" made it clear that this place needed to be tried. Having moved to WA state from Chicago a few years back, we've really been missing good Mexican food. Please don't get mad, WA folk, there is tasty Mexican food here, but it's just not quite the same. Well, that was before we walked in to this place. First, the atmosphere is great--homey, comfortable and super friendly. The food is absolutely fantastic!!! Best quesobirria tacos of my life. We also ordered carne asada tacos which were also delish! I like when the pieces of meat are like tiny steaks with so much flavor and that's how their carne asada is. Their beans are on point. They have amazing salsas. They were out of horchata so can't wait to try it next time we're out there. Honestly, it was SO delicious, we would make the 2 hour drive just to eat there!!!! read more

Wow! We stopped by this place because of the high ratings. And we were SO impressed. The service was excellent and fast. The food was so delicious. And the ambiance felt authentic and very "Ma & Pa" owned. The owner even came out from the back to check in on us and gave us a free tapa. I ate my entire plate until I was stuffed. I couldn't stop. read more

The ambience is interesting. Not your typical Mexican restaurant, but Service made up for the slightly odd decor and ambience. The food was amazing. The person I was eating with indicated that this was some of the best Mexican food they've had in their entire life and honestly, I can't wait to go back. read more

Mi Lindo Guanajuato is a hidden gem and an absolute delight!! It may not look like much from the outside, but trust me, this place is incredible. I had the most wonderful experience there today with my friend and her two kids. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive, and everything we ordered was flavorful and authentic. I had the steak fajitas, she ordered camarones a la crema, and her kids ordered tacos. We all left full and happy :) read more
