The restaurant is very outdated, tables and chairs look old! Very dark inside the restaurant and menus look dingy! The service was lacking I asked for a drink sample and I literally got a table spoon for a sample! I tried to order carnitas and they were out of them at 1pm?!?! It took them over 20 minutes to make 6 tacos!! The food lacked flavor and the tortillas were ok. The food is not good at all the salsas are too spicy even the mild ones!! read more

Food, 10/10, customer service, 10/10. Staff made us feel like family. Restaurant is outdated but honestly WHO CARES with food that great. The owner gave us a free appetizer to welcome us. Great people. Great stop before visiting the gorge and spending the same amount of money, if not more, on bullshit food they have at the gorge. What a fantastic find just off the highway! If you're hungry for authentic Mexican food served with the best service, this is the place. The chicken enchiladas are delicious. It reminds me of some of the local small business restaurants I have visited in Mexico and the freshness, flavor and menu really take me back to those places. Friendly and caring service. This is great hole in the wall place serving traditional Mexican fares. The food was delicious, we tried their street tacos. The birria was very flavorful and so was the Mexican chorizo. If there was a 6 star rating, this place would get one. If you are looking for a taste of authentic Mexican food, you must check this place out. The building is definitely rustic, but clean. The service was amazing and the servers had genuine joy, friendliness and kindness. The food? Wow! I've had a lot of Mexican food, both in the states and all over Mexico (including non tourist areas) and this place beats them all. The portions were big! No skimping on the meat here. My husband and I shared the fajitas and still took some home. The homemade guacamole was made fresh as was all the rest of the food. We live in Wenatchee, but will definitely make the trip again (with friends in tow.) read more

The fish tacos were still crispy when we ate them (sometimes they get soggy indicating they aren't as fresh). Salsa and chips were on the house and I appreciate that. This restaurant is near Microtel hotel (5 min walk). Food was good! As another reviewer noted, it is decorated in Mexican & Central American decor. Staff can speak English & Spanish. Waitresses are friendly & had nice smiles. If you're coming to a festival or driving through, well worth it to eat something here. They also have horchata, Jimica, fresa juice & cocktails/alcohol. Menu is straightforward & I love that they had pictures. This restaurant has a lot of space & I imagine locals frequently visit. It was Saturday when I made this review, a family celebrated a 5 year old girl's birthday. Full bar, pool, patio, & bar stools are available. Overall food & service was great! This is place has the best Mexican food I've had in Washington state. They started us off with chips and salsa. The salsa tasted very fresh and had a nice kick of spice to start us off - my I got the special of the day - steamed meat tacos. 2 cabeza and two rib meat tacos. My partner got 3 sopes - birria, cabeza and rib meat. The sopes came out hot and fresh. The vegetables, queso fresco and sour cream were all fresh and paired with delicious fried masa bottom. The rib meat was tender, fresh, juicy with a delicious beefy flavor. Cabeza - was so fresh, fatty and creamy. Some of the best cabeza meat I have had. The birria was good but slightly on the drier side. I highly recommend the cabeza or rib meat special if it is available. To top it off all of the salsas and sauces were great. The tomatillo salsa had a nice sour lime flavor and tasted great. There was also a habenero sauce and a cilantro cream sauce. Both were tasty but I preferred the cilantro lime on the sopes. We were randomly passing through George and it was close to dinner time. We hadn't planned to eat here, but when we drove by the strip mall Mi Lindo is located in, I decided to look it up. Seeing it described by a number of people on Yelp as "the best Mexican food in WA State" made it clear that this place needed to be tried. Having moved to WA state from Chicago a few years back, we've really been missing good Mexican food. Please don't get mad, WA folk, there is tasty Mexican food here, but it's just not quite the same. Well, that was before we walked in to this place. First, the atmosphere is great--homey, comfortable and super friendly. The food is absolutely fantastic!!! Best quesobirria tacos of my life. We also ordered carne asada tacos which were also delish! I like when the pieces of meat are like tiny steaks with so much flavor and that's how their carne asada is. Their beans are on point. They have amazing salsas. They were out of horchata so can't wait to try it next time we're out there. Honestly, it was SO delicious, we would make the 2 hour drive just to eat there!!!! read more

The atmosphere is spacious, but nothing fancy everything was clean and neat including in the bathroom. This place saved the day after a complete failure at another restaurant. The staff are super friendly and helpful. When asked about vegetarian choices, our server said "we will make anything on the menu vegetarian." The food was well portioned, hot, and tasty. On a drive from Spokane to Bellingham, we needed something to eat. As we were getting close to George, I spotted this Mexican restaurant that seemed like good price. It is slightly beyond the beaten path, but not munch. And entering you can tell it's a genuine Mexican establishment. Lots of decorations and trinkets you only see in places where the majority of customers are of Mexican or Central American descent. The food proved that it's the case.
