The managers are very nice. They were pleasant and gave us very friendly smiles. It was a pleasure interacting with them.

I've stayed at hotels all over the world and have never been treated rudely by hotel staff--until I…read moretried checking into this hotel. When I arrived, there was a sign at the front desk instructing guests to use the phone to call for assistance. I saw two women talking nearby but had no way of knowing whether either of them worked there or if they were on break, so I followed the posted instructions and used the phone. Apparently, one of the women was the front desk clerk, and she immediately became confrontational. She repeatedly asked, "Can you see me? I'm standing right in front of you. Can you see me?" I explained that I didn't know who was staff and who wasn't, and that I had simply followed the directions on the sign because I wanted to check into my room. Things only got worse from there. When she asked for my driver's license, she was standing ten feet away with baskets on the counter between us. I tossed my license over the baskets and onto the desk in front of her, and she responded by throwing it back at me and telling me to leave. Since I had already paid for the room and didn't want to spend more money finding another hotel, I returned a few hours later hoping a different employee would be working. Unfortunately, I had to deal with the same clerk again. She remained rude and argumentative, although she eventually allowed me to check in. By the time I finally got to my room--three hours after I first arrived--I was exhausted and frustrated. The room itself had a strong cigarette smoke odor that was unpleasant enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth. The décor is dated, but the room appeared reasonably clean, aside from a few moths flying around. If it weren't for the extremely poor customer service and the overwhelming smoke smell, this wouldn't be a terrible hotel. Unfortunately, those issues completely overshadowed the experience. I will not be staying here again.

I had to ask for housekeeping to change out the towels but the did not empty the one trash can in the entire room. No trash can in the bathroom. Internet is slow. We were in town from the Everett area for our son's select baseball tournament. This was the only…read morehotel in the area that was vacant, not over $100/night and close to the ball fields we had planned to spend our days at. When I made the reservation (over the phone) I asked for a NS room and was told the hotel had been updated with "new memory foam mattresses". When I asked the rate (it showed $39.99 online) the woman quoted me $79.99 for a 2 Queen room for more than 1 person. Now I understand the double occupancy rule but the fact that we were charged MORE THAN TWICE the price because we were coming into town for an 'event' was just crazy. Unfortunately we were at the mercy of their hospitality so we sucked it up and booked. When we arrived our son opened the car door, looked up from his i-POD and said "is this some kind of joke"? I promptly told him that if mom could do it he could too and for him to consider this an adventure. We were booked in room 110 (also our reservation number) which they advertised as being non-smoking. Who are they kidding? This room spells like someone smoked 10 packs a day for 10 years straight. I told them there was no way someone hadn't smoked in there and their response was "we can't control what others do" which I agree with but they can't expect anyone who doesn't want to REEK to stay in there. He agreed for us to take a look at room 108 and said they were booked solid so if this room wasn't going to work he would refund our money and we could go elsewhere. Thought that was decent of him rather than tell us 'tough luck'. Since the entire town was booked I was very pleased to find this room was clean enough and smelt like it had been given a recent cleaning. PROS: Rooms are large with great working A/C unit, cold fridge, phone & working TV Free Wi-fi Memory foam beds were VERY comfortable (which for a Motel is a complete shocker) Front desk was very helpful with directions to the local lake area where we swam for FREE Allows dogs, no fees (with plenty of space behind the building for potty time Has the essentials: shower, toilet, clean towels & bedding CONS: No alarm clock or wake up service No 'free' breakfast (although one morning they gave me a box of doughnuts at the front desk when I went in for more towels) No pool (the lake and free swimming area was just 5 minutes down the road) so not that big of a deal The soap & shampoo was of the quality and quantity of a garage sale from 20+ years ago. The 'hand soap' crumbled into 16 pieces as soon as I opened it. Overall I give it a C+. The people running the show were nice, polite and helpful. It's a motel in Moses Lake so don't expect much but it was quiet and comfortable which was all we had hoped for.

It's a pretty standard motel that has had very limited updating over the years. The shower is hot and the bathroom is relatively clean. Some rooms have newer beds than others. Pluses: Lowest rates in town Allows dogs, no fees rooms are large Has the essentials: shower, toilet, clean towels & bedding Ample space behind the building for airing dogs Minuses Dirty carpet very little maintenance in rooms Often full, sometimes will not take reservations A/C and heat sometimes hard to control (either crazy hot or freezing)

We bought a ticket package for a show at The Gorge and were assigned this Moses Lake hotel with a shuttle for each day. We couldn't have been more impressed. Clean rooms, the comfiest beds ever, nice big open bathrooms, and finally, the best breakfast we'd ever had at a free hotel breakfast bar. The hotel is in a great location in the town, with a couple restaurants right nearby and only a few turns away from a grocery shops. For those traveling to The Gorge, it is a bit of a distance if you're not traveling with a shuttle, but I think we were comfortable and didn't experience the noise of after parties at hotels closer to the venue.

It was great and quiet until I witnessed one of the workers letting a family full of kids inside the back gate. Then, the dad came back in with floats for them all so then it got even worse. One bad apple spoiled the bunch for not only me, but for another guest who was trying to enjoy the pool area as well. #FML I had even messaged the hotel beforehand to make sure the pool was opened because I was so excited to get to end the summer after Labor Day at a public pool and they told me they were still opened. They were opened alright. To everyone apparently.

I have been staying here 11 weeks now while working a construction job in town. With a great weekly rate and affordable prices for night to night stays. I have had the privilege stay in both types of rooms, and the remodeling is fantastic. The rooms are super clean, well furnished, with new comfy beds. My room has a kitchenette and it came furnished with all the much needed basics to make some good meals. The property is quiet. While I'm working night shift, during the day, it's super quiet. This is not your average three-star hotel. I'm already planning my next visit! 1. The Breakfast Bar - Truly a Standout Experience Hands down, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had in this category. Nearly everything is handmade from scratch -- no boxed waffle mix or egg-carton scrambled eggs here. The waffles had the perfect balance of savory and subtle sweetness, ideal for anyone watching their sugar intake. The gravy was rich, hearty, and full of homemade flavor -- you could taste the care in every bite. The highlight, though, was the custom omelet station, where you can create your own with a solid selection of toppings. The attention to detail and quality at breakfast alone sets this hotel apart. 2. Stunning Lakefront View & Walking Path The hotel sits right on a beautiful lake, and you can enjoy your meal or morning coffee with a serene lake view from the window-side seating. There's also a small walking path along the water -- perfect for a peaceful early stroll before the summer sun heats up. I even spotted swans one morning! Paddle boarders and small boats regularly pass by, adding to the tranquil, postcard-like setting. 3. Impressive Room Amenities Our room was spotless, with crisp linens and a smart layout. I loved that the sink was separate from the toilet and shower area -- much more convenient when sharing the space. A standout feature was the oversized fridge, easily twice the size of typical hotel mini-fridges (even at higher-end chains like Hyatt). It fit all of our road trip snacks and meals comfortably. Other thoughtful touches, like a pre-stocked makeup remover wipe (which I always forget!), elevated the experience. The temperature control worked well, the bed was comfortable, and while the pillows leaned firmer, they were clean and supportive. 4. Fantastic Dinner & Patio Vibes Dinner on the outdoor patio was a peaceful and delicious experience. I ordered the prawn entrée -- and wow. You get 7 or 8 jumbo prawns in a lemony, buttery broth for around $25, and I happily devoured every bite (and drank every drop of the broth like soup). The salad bar was fresh, with fiber-rich options that made me go back for two full plates. But the unexpected star? The clam chowder. Creamy, hearty, and clearly made in-house, it was easily one of the best I've had -- even rivaling the chowders at Pike Place. I don't usually go for creamy soups, but I happily had two full bowls! 5. Top-Notch Service with a Smile The restaurant staff were truly wonderful. Every server greeted us with genuine warmth and attentiveness. It's clear this hotel has been around for a while, but the hospitality hasn't faded -- which is rare and says a lot. The team was friendly, caring, and made us feel valued throughout our stay. Final Thoughts This hotel impressed me on every level. From the exceptional food to the peaceful lake views, thoughtful room amenities, and genuinely kind service, Best Western Plus in Moses Lake delivered a stay that far exceeded expectations for its star level. 6. Relaxation & Wellness Amenities The hotel offers a great range of wellness amenities, including a spa, gym, dry sauna, and a heated indoor pool. Whether you're looking to stay active or simply unwind, these spaces provide a perfect balance of fitness and relaxation during your stay. If you're visiting, don't miss the clam chowder, the shrimp dish, and the custom omelets -- they're all fantastic. Highly, highly recommend!

I'm no stranger to cheap motels and most serve their temporary purpose but this was a real s*** show at best. We were charged twice for the room, once in online booking. When we paid at the desk they charged the tax twice. We were promised a continental breakfast starting at 10 when the office opens. By noon no one had showed up and knocking or ringing the doorbell were to no avail. The room is a tiny cinder block and broken window latch affair. Someone had clearly tried to pry open the door to our room at some prior date. The shower is charitably referred to as "one person". As another reviewer put it if you really need somewhere to stay, consider sleeping in your car or pushing on to the next town. Some businesses deserve to fail under the weight of their own ineptitude and this one certainly fits the bill.

The furniture was gross and that's if you're "lucky" enough to have furniture in your room. There was mold in the bathroom and cracked windows. Somehow I managed to sleep okay despite the beds being the lowest quality I've seen in a motel and there was a loud buzzing that came from the bathroom every 30 minutes. I was actually impressed that they had TVs in the room which they told us had Netflix. But of course it was too good to be true seeing as it didn't work at all. All in all, I dont recommend this place and I won't be back.
