The TV is finicky (you have the option to choose between WiFi OR regular TV channels, and I had to ask the front desk to help), but the front desk was extremely nice and helpful with both the TV and the treadmill (I couldn't get it on due to a safety feature.) The fitness room has a treadmill, bike, rower, exercise ball, mats, free weights, a bench, and a station where you can do pull-ups and stuff. And the sauna is in the fitness room (I didn't try it). There is even (coin operated) guest laundry here! The bed is quite firm but very comfortable, the pillows are big and fluffy and luxurious, the room has a remote control air conditioner/heater which is a luxury itself, considering I'm used to the ones you have to get up to change. The room also has USB ports at the nightstand, an iron/ironing board, hairdryer, small coffee maker (coffee, cocoa and tea in the lobby, too), mini-fridge, & microwave. The bathroom has shampoo and conditioner on the wall, bar soaps (of course), and even lotion! What really impressed me was the gentleman managing the breakfast. (5:30am-9:30am). I came around 7:30am and within less than 30 minutes, he replaced the coffee, and checked the food temps and quantities several times. All the hot food was piping hot, and the cold food was fridge-cold. And the selection was pretty incredible for the small space they pack it into. And Othello is a very cozy small town - there is a grocery store nearby, a super Walmart nearby, fast food, restaurants, gas stations, a Dollar Tree, and a couple bakeries. If I ever come over here for 2 days in a row again, I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet room with a bunch of amenities... I'd absolutely recommend this Quality Inn.

For instance, the large suite we booked in Walnut Creek last week included a concierge lounge, which had snacks and drinks all day long. With this booking, all you get is the room, which is a very nice room by the way. Okay, they did give us some certificates for free pancakes in the morning or a free dessert for dinner. I used one once. There is an icebox down the hallway with pre-bagged ice that fills the rooms' ice buckets. Room service is available. The property is located adjacent to the Columbia Point Marina Park, a nice boat landing and beautiful park. A few restaurants are nearby within walking distance. There's a 24-hour Winco just down the street, which is very handy. Our suite included a wet bar, microwave and refrigerator. Two bathrooms was a must for us, which is one of the reasons we booked this room. Even the guest bath has a shower, which is very nice. The bedroom has a sliding door that closes off the living area. The room includes a gas fireplace, which was very nice to have. There's a good sized balcony with a perfect river/park view, two chairs and a table. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Be careful of their Riva restaurant, it's kind of weird. I've never had an untraditional lox bagel sandwich like theirs, and I didn't like it. They also thinly sliced and cooked the ham until it was brown! Whoever heard of brown ham? You might want to ask them how things are prepared before you order. The elevators are as slow as possible; even slower. We had some issues with our room. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was extremely loud, but they were able to fix that upon our request. The toilet seat in the guest bath is almost falling off. No matter what we tried, the main bathroom shower leaked all over the floor and onto the bedroom carpeting. And, the television is full of large white dots all over the place. The front desk said they are already aware of the television issues, and are working on replacing them. The wet bar included paper towels, real dishes and silverware. The couch folds out to a bed. There are no electrical plug outlets or USB ports at the side tables near the bed; that wasn't good. I'm talking eggs, cinnamon buns, milk, yogurt, fruit, juice, cereal, oatmeal, sausage, biscuits and gravy ... spared no expense. They really meant it when they said free breakfast. It's served for 3.5 hours every day. The hotel is right next to a lot of eating establishments. There is always a place to go. Domino's will deliver right to your room. Nightly they lay out cookies for everyone and coffee is available 24/7. All in all, I was absolutely taken care of. I miss home and know if I ever travel, I can stay here again. Thanks y'all.

When we arrived the staff were all welcoming like you were visiting family. The game was on... drinks at the bar... we checked into our room and went to dinner. Great short ribs, potatoes and rolls, topped the meal off with pie! We then went downstairs with some other hunters to play a few rounds of ping pong and had some drinks. The rooms were large and beds were comfortable... Morning wake up at 4:30 AM grabbed breakfast and headed out. You drive yourself... so a truck or AWD is nice. Also bring snacks, coffee and water... you might be out for awhile. Layers and warm clothing a MUST! We helped set out decoys and blinds... it was great being apart of that experience. We then waited... our guides started geese calling and brought in 5 geese ...soooo cool! We shot 4. We then decided to go duck hunting because the guides heard that the ducks were out. (Great communication with other staff to get us to the best spots). Stopped for lunch with the best spaghetti sauce I have ever had! Yum! We dropped off our geese to get butchered on site... The duck hunting area was a flooded corn field with a super cool blind in the middle of the field. We encountered several ducks and we almost shot our limit... should of brought more ammo! Our guides then offered to take us out again to hunt geese for the later part of the day. We went to a field with bunkers... again great experience to be in a different blind situation. We were able to shoot 4 more geese right at sunset. We have traveled all over the world... no this place is not a Ritz hotel, we were not anticipating that for a duck and goose hunt in Othello! Overall it was comfortable, food was great, duck and goose hunting experience was beyond awesome! Loved it! We are planning a return trip and bringing friends and family. We were not a corporate group... I felt we were treated very nicely, we had a blast, shot plenty of geese and ducks for our family and were in world class hunting locations.
