This is the missing smoke alarm on the ceiling.

If you are going to Moses Lake, WA, don't stay at this dump! We were put into a sub-standard room on the 1st floor, which was below ground level. We had to ask for another room because of the moldy smell in the 1st one, as well as the safety issues & disrepair. We were told they were remodeling the top (3rd) floor & they could put us up there, without an elevator. No thanks, we're in our 60's & 70's with bad backs & knees. The room they put us in was better, but still musky smelling. The first thing we noticed about the dining room was the filthy glass paned door leading into the room. Covered with fingerprints (post COVID). Yuck! The dining hall was dark, old, & dirty. We had to ask someone to wipe our table. She wiped it with a bleach rag that left the table very wet & with food particles from whatever else she had wiped that morning. One of the cabinets was broken, & machines weren't working well. The coffee pot broke & then we were told to be careful because the toaster could burn your toast. There was nothing healthy to eat except some green oranges & some apples. Lots of grease, sugar or fat, but hey...it was all free! The main attraction for us was the heated pool. Well, this was a disappointment as well. It wasn't very warm for a heated pool. The handrails wouldn't have passed any kind of OSHA safety inspection as wobbly as they were. There were only about 2 chairs & 4 loungers to use, but you wouldn't really want to use them for fear they might break. The pool towels were as scratchy as sandpaper, but good for exfoliating the skin. The graveyard for all things broken from the entire place, was the concrete patio off the pool. There was even an employee who dropped off a broken chair while we were in the pool! I went to get ice & noticed the vending machines were out of order. To get ice, you had to push on the piece that dispensed the ice. As sticky as it was, I wondered if anyone ever wiped the finger goo off of it. Again, this is post COVID. I only have pics from the first room they tried to put us in, but they should be bad enough to tell the story. All the pictures on their website must've been taken when the place was first built. It does NOT look anything like that now. It is skanky, run down, & filthy. They'd be better off to tear it down & start over. Sorry Quality Inn...I've stayed with you in other cities, but your Moses Lake location needs some serious maintenance work.

Swelling door..like it has been out in therain and deadbolt doesnt work

What a dump and that is no exaggeration. No smoke detector, wires hanging from the ceiling, no lampshade over lamps which pulls out of the wall. Ripped carpering and the worst of all the deadbolt doesnt lock on room 300. Picture hooks on wall where pictures should be, mold on walls in bathroom, no vent fan in there and disgusting bathtub. Spending 30+ nights a year as a Choice Hotels member, this has to be one of the worst out there. Very surprised Choice Hotels hasn't dumped this franchisee.

You know the saying you pay for what you get. Well it only cost 100 dollars to stay and it is worth 50 a night. This place is run down and the rooms are old and stink like musk the bathroom is old and falling apart They serve a breakfast in the morning with things I could not identify but they do have cereal and yogurt This is on the far end of town next to I 90 if you have a choice don't choose this.

    Old stained up dingy chair.

The room was not like the pictures on the website or on hotels dot com. Our room was dirty and stunk. All the furniture was beat up and falling apart. They did give me a refund with no hassle but I can't believe they're renting these rooms to anybody in the condition they're in. More of a pay by the hour kind of place. Pictures speak for themselves.

    Stains on sheets.

There is absolutely nothing quality about this hotel. This place is a dumpster fire. Filthy to stay the least. One comforter had blood in multiple spots and some yellowish brownish stains on it. The receptionist tried to say it was chocolate. Definitely not chocolate. Our room door was wide open on arrival and it's almost as if this room was not cleaned at all. I was traveling with a friend and her two kids and was here for an overnight stay. I do not recommend anyone stay here unless you're ok with these nasty conditions. We asked the room be wiped down and the bedding changed. We had no other option due to every other hotel being sold out. How is this place still in business!?

What is wrong with this match???

8-2017. Disappointed there is no elevator and if on 3rd floor its a tough haul! Staff is nice and understanding. If in a wheelchair it will be hard. The first floor is down about 5 steps from lobby, meaning that they would have to enter in the back door parking lot....where no one is allowed to park, so if they came in, the auto would have to be parked somewhere else. On a hi note: they have glass glasses and coffee mugs! Honestly....would avoid this place....

Mystery substance on wall in plain sight

Booked a one night stay at Quality Inn in Moses Lake WA for a concert at the Gorge on June 9, 2023. The price was high, but that's to be expected when an event is going on I suppose. The two ladies at the front desk were pleasant.I wish I could have investigated the premises better at check in, but we were in a hurry to get checked in and off to the Gorge. The room was DIRTY. SO DIRTY. Mystery stains on the walls, what looked like a blood stain on the bed under the sheets on the mattress protector that was also ripped. The "clean" sheets had either stains or weren't washed as it looked like someone's mascara was streaked across a pillow and the bottom sheet. A hairball was stuck in the back of the hairdryer, the toilet and bathroom floor was soaking wet when we checked in, no liner in the garbage. The carpet was so extremely dirty that I refused to walk barefoot on it. The bed was comfortable if you disregard the stains. I brought my own pillow and blanket from home so I wrapped up in this; probably the only reason I dared sleep in the bed at all. The hangers for art was the only thing on the wall besides scuffs and stains from one can only imagine. I definitely wouldn't book a stay here again no matter what. In the future I would prefer to camp before I'd stay in such a run down, unkept, place. Sketchy, dingy, musty, downright filthy.

Random stuff under the bedside table.

The walls were very thin and you could hear people talking in the hallway...including the housekeeping staff joking about vacuuming outside our room to get us out of there even though it was an hour before it was checkout time. The pictures of this place when I booked online looked more high end, I didn't check yelp before booking and I should have! It wasn't a horrible place but the bed was very firm, not supportive either just cheap motel mattress type firm (I would've expected a better mattress for almost $200 a night in the middle of the week). The lady that checked me in was probably the nicest hotel clerk I've ever come across so that was refreshing! The room was extremely clean when I walked in, I could smell how clean it was so that was reassuring. I got the king suite with jacuzzi tub, it is definitely not a suite, it's a room like any other inn lol. There was a microwave and fridge in the room and the TV had netflix, hulu, etc but you have to login on your own account if you have one. The a/c unit worked decent but even when I had the unit set to constant fan it would turn on and off throughout the night which woke me up a few times. The curtains in the room are not complete black out curtains, you can see the light coming through a tad. The pillows on the bed were comfortable so it balanced out the firm mattress situation for me lol. The hallway can get pretty loud I was irritated about getting woken up at 3am and consistently until about 6:30am because of how loud the doors nearby were opening and closing and that is the biggest deal breaker for me, when paying to sleep somewhere I want to be able to get a good night's rest and I wasn't able to because of the outside noise, I can live with an uncomfortable bed more than getting woken up thoughout the night. They do provide you with a free pint of beer from the taphouse that is in their bowling alley in the parking lot there which was nice and they do offer free continental breakfast until 9am, I didn't try it though. There is also a mini golf course in the parking lot too and also a pool and spa that is open until 10pm (indoor) . I went in the spa and it was nice and hot but the jets just shoot straight up so you can't enjoy them and they are super loud, I could hardly hear when I was trying to FaceTime. Overall, it isn't a bad place but I won't stay again when in town for work because of the noise throughout the night and the doors slamming shut.

This is not your average three-star hotel. I'm already planning my next visit! 1. The Breakfast Bar - Truly a Standout Experience Hands down, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had in this category. Nearly everything is handmade from scratch -- no boxed waffle mix or egg-carton scrambled eggs here. The waffles had the perfect balance of savory and subtle sweetness, ideal for anyone watching their sugar intake. The gravy was rich, hearty, and full of homemade flavor -- you could taste the care in every bite. The highlight, though, was the custom omelet station, where you can create your own with a solid selection of toppings. The attention to detail and quality at breakfast alone sets this hotel apart. 2. Stunning Lakefront View & Walking Path The hotel sits right on a beautiful lake, and you can enjoy your meal or morning coffee with a serene lake view from the window-side seating. There's also a small walking path along the water -- perfect for a peaceful early stroll before the summer sun heats up. I even spotted swans one morning! Paddle boarders and small boats regularly pass by, adding to the tranquil, postcard-like setting. 3. Impressive Room Amenities Our room was spotless, with crisp linens and a smart layout. I loved that the sink was separate from the toilet and shower area -- much more convenient when sharing the space. A standout feature was the oversized fridge, easily twice the size of typical hotel mini-fridges (even at higher-end chains like Hyatt). It fit all of our road trip snacks and meals comfortably. Other thoughtful touches, like a pre-stocked makeup remover wipe (which I always forget!), elevated the experience. The temperature control worked well, the bed was comfortable, and while the pillows leaned firmer, they were clean and supportive. 4. Fantastic Dinner & Patio Vibes Dinner on the outdoor patio was a peaceful and delicious experience. I ordered the prawn entrée -- and wow. You get 7 or 8 jumbo prawns in a lemony, buttery broth for around $25, and I happily devoured every bite (and drank every drop of the broth like soup). The salad bar was fresh, with fiber-rich options that made me go back for two full plates. But the unexpected star? The clam chowder. Creamy, hearty, and clearly made in-house, it was easily one of the best I've had -- even rivaling the chowders at Pike Place. I don't usually go for creamy soups, but I happily had two full bowls! 5. Top-Notch Service with a Smile The restaurant staff were truly wonderful. Every server greeted us with genuine warmth and attentiveness. It's clear this hotel has been around for a while, but the hospitality hasn't faded -- which is rare and says a lot. The team was friendly, caring, and made us feel valued throughout our stay. Final Thoughts This hotel impressed me on every level. From the exceptional food to the peaceful lake views, thoughtful room amenities, and genuinely kind service, Best Western Plus in Moses Lake delivered a stay that far exceeded expectations for its star level. 6. Relaxation & Wellness Amenities The hotel offers a great range of wellness amenities, including a spa, gym, dry sauna, and a heated indoor pool. Whether you're looking to stay active or simply unwind, these spaces provide a perfect balance of fitness and relaxation during your stay. If you're visiting, don't miss the clam chowder, the shrimp dish, and the custom omelets -- they're all fantastic. Highly, highly recommend!
