We were greated with smiles from everybody working on a Saturday morning before the crowds woke. The locale used to be a catering commissary, today it is a cozy aromatic retreat for all those that are hungry and ready to sit and relax takeaway on the ho or call ahead or pick up. Sadly, I missed getting photos of our plates, chiliquilles and a breakfast burrito. Both were very yummy. I made sure to also grabbed some peach cobbler and a cinnamon roll for the road. After a couple of drip coffees we were still under $40 for all of the food. There was a steady flow of people in and out, sitting down and picking up during the hour we ate and commiserated. Amazing and satisfying in all the ways. If I have not given you enough reasons to stop, this is a woman owned business, by a single mom that bootstrapped her way to owning a restaurant and filling my belly and making me smile.

The pictures of this place when I booked online looked more high end, I didn't check yelp before booking and I should have! It wasn't a horrible place but the bed was very firm, not supportive either just cheap motel mattress type firm (I would've expected a better mattress for almost $200 a night in the middle of the week). The lady that checked me in was probably the nicest hotel clerk I've ever come across so that was refreshing! The room was extremely clean when I walked in, I could smell how clean it was so that was reassuring. I got the king suite with jacuzzi tub, it is definitely not a suite, it's a room like any other inn lol. There was a microwave and fridge in the room and the TV had netflix, hulu, etc but you have to login on your own account if you have one. The a/c unit worked decent but even when I had the unit set to constant fan it would turn on and off throughout the night which woke me up a few times. The curtains in the room are not complete black out curtains, you can see the light coming through a tad. The pillows on the bed were comfortable so it balanced out the firm mattress situation for me lol. The hallway can get pretty loud I was irritated about getting woken up at 3am and consistently until about 6:30am because of how loud the doors nearby were opening and closing and that is the biggest deal breaker for me, when paying to sleep somewhere I want to be able to get a good night's rest and I wasn't able to because of the outside noise, I can live with an uncomfortable bed more than getting woken up thoughout the night. They do provide you with a free pint of beer from the taphouse that is in their bowling alley in the parking lot there which was nice and they do offer free continental breakfast until 9am, I didn't try it though. There is also a mini golf course in the parking lot too and also a pool and spa that is open until 10pm (indoor) . I went in the spa and it was nice and hot but the jets just shoot straight up so you can't enjoy them and they are super loud, I could hardly hear when I was trying to FaceTime. Overall, it isn't a bad place but I won't stay again when in town for work because of the noise throughout the night and the doors slamming shut.

I have been staying here 11 weeks now while working a construction job in town. With a great weekly rate and affordable prices for night to night stays. The owner, David, is a great man who takes great pride in his property. Diligently remodeling and updating the rooms one by one. I have had the privilege stay in both types of rooms, and the remodeling is fantastic. The rooms are super clean, well furnished, with new comfy beds. My room has a kitchenette and it came furnished with all the much needed basics to make some good meals. The property is quiet. While I'm working night shift, during the day, it's super quiet. I haven't had any issues with getting needed sleep. David is a fantastic business owner and his staff are top notch. They are to ready help you if you have any issues or problems during your stay with them. David even gives your his personal cell number upon check in so you can reach him at any time. Location wise the sage n sand is close to anything you might need groceries, restaurants, services, etc. This place is great and highly recommend it

We purchased a used 2018 EZGO TXT golf cart with Elite Lithium battery. While I am no expert or…read moresavvy purchaser in golf carts I think overall we got a good value. I focused more on aesthetic vs. the mechanics of the cart, but both expectations were met! When Kelly drove up with the beautiful lemon yellow customized cart I was immediately obsessed. Not only did it meet the aesthetic criteria, it met the "drivability" hope. It was a smooth, powerful (we had 4 people in the cart and went up a big hill with ease), and great steering. We haven't put it to the true golf course test, but I will provide a follow up update after a few months of ownership. Along with being a knowledgeable mechanic, Kelly provided top notch customer service. He was particularly accommodating had some great ideas to customize it, threw in some upgrades and made it a very easy process. It was good to have documentation of what we discussed and agreed upon so each of our expectations were met.

I…read morerecently bought a used Cart from Kelly and was very impressed how he had upgraded the cart with several nice features without blowing the cost of the cart out of the water! It was very reasonably priced and he delivered it too! His upgrades included, beautiful reupholstering, upgraded wheels and tires, LED lighting front and rear,buffed out gleaming paint, build in speakers and a new windshield. In addition, he provided me with two chargers, one for my garage and one for just outside my unit. Finally when I asked him to work up a price to install a new digital battery gauge, he notice one of my wheel hubs and spindles seems loose and without even being asked, changed them out for new at NO cost! THAT is service and respect for the buyers who buy his carts. It's rare to see such dedication and follow up for what you sell by such a young person.
