We ordered their seasonal monster mash but it wasn't at all strong, cute simple drink to say the least. Then we ordered their famous chicken wings and waffles and French toast. The waffles and French toast came with butter and syrup and was nice, fluffy, hot and soft! Sooo delicious. Their wings wasn't too seasoned, didn't taste the gunk most chicken have and it tastes freshly fried.. the wait time was about 15min or so. The drinks are a bit pricey but it's the airport and I don't expect anything less. Music was nice and not too loud overlooking the Delta and Alaska planes. Very disappointing experience - Tostada Regia on Crosstimbers, August 27 around 3 PM…read more I'm very disappointed with the service I received at the Crosstimbers location today. I normally try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but this experience really bothered me. The manager who took our order was a woman wearing black with long hair. I unfortunately did not get her name. We ordered the Thursday special x2 and asked for large drinks. I understood that the special comes with the small drinks, so I specifically asked for large ones. When I received the bill, I noticed that I had been charged $10.50 for three large drinks/refills. What upset me most was that we were never informed that we would be charged for the refills. Had someone simply explained the refill charge beforehand, I would have been able to make an informed decision. What made the situation even more frustrating was that this was the manager handling our order. I noticed she was closely watching the waitress and monitoring every refill to make sure it was being added to the customer's tab. If management is going to monitor charges that closely, customers should also be clearly informed about those charges before they are incurred. I brought the issue to their attention, but unfortunately, I was not offered any refund or meaningful resolution, even after explaining that we had not been told about the refill charges. I have no problem paying for something when I know what I'm being charged for. It's the lack of transparency and the way the situation was handled that was most disappointing. I was also informed that this manager has been working there for quite some time, which honestly makes the experience even more concerning. As someone in a management position, I would expect better communication, customer service, and accountability. I sincerely hope management and the owner take this review seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve how customers are informed about additional charges. Customers deserve to know what they are paying for before the charges appear on their bill. I truly hope this experience leads to better treatment of customers in the future. **Also we only got 1 refill it's not like we kept asking refill after refill ** we asked the refill to go because the waitress never came to offer a refill.

We ordered a margarita and a lemon drop and really enjoyed both. I also appreciated seeing security walking through the parking lot as we were leaving. It was a nice touch and made us feel even more comfortable. They have free parking and plenty of parking spaces, which is always a plus. We had such a great first experience and will definitely be back!

Then things went downhill quickly. 1. My husband sent FOUR cups back, 2 waters, and 2 cocktails that had floating pieces of food and / or food stuck to the inside of the glass. 2. The ice in his cocktail had black particles inside the ice cube like mold. 3. My husband ordered scotch on the rocks and the waitress asked him he wanted big ice, and he said yes. Then our bill comes and they charge $4 PER drink for big ice. So our table spent $16 just on ice alone. 4. The cocktail / drink menu had no prices and when our bill came the alcohol prices were insanely overpriced (think $70). The staff offered no apology or compensation for the dirty items and seemed offput and annoyed with us wanting clean items to drink out of. Will never go back.

Service was attentive the whole time--they kept refilling our water glasses while we waited for the food. We ordered the chicken sandwich with a side salad and a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Both the fries and the salad were an upcharge, which we didn't love, but the food itself came out pretty quickly and was very good. My chicken sandwich had blue cheese dressing and a slightly spicy slaw that added great flavor. The chicken was moist with a thin, crispy breading, and the salad was fresh and tasty as well. My son really enjoyed his burger and thought the sweet potato fries were great. The main downside was the price. Our total was a little over $60 before tax and tip, and that was without any drinks. While the food and service were good, it felt a bit pricey for what we ordered. Overall, it was a nice meal while waiting at the airport, but because of the cost, I probably wouldn't choose to eat there again.

We ordered two different dishes to share--the cheeseburger and the skewer combo--and both were absolutely delicious! Everything was flavorful, fresh, and much better than what you typically expect from airport food. It can be surprisingly difficult to find a really good restaurant at an airport, whether you're waiting for your flight or have just arrived. This is definitely one of the best choices at IAH, and I'm so glad we gave it a try. If you're traveling through Terminal A, don't just walk by--stop and give it a try!

Tables surround a rectangular full-service bar and food appears from the kitchen through a small window that faces the customers. We immediately found a seat, and the server arrived in minutes with menus and took our drink orders. Like many Terminal A eateries, there were only about 5 entrees in addition to offerings of soup and salads and sides. We both settled on the cheeseburger ($18 each) that came with a side of fries, a ramekin of ketchup, and a wee pickle slice. The burger arrived on a decent-sized bun and the meat was cooked fine, yet no condiments came with it. We asked for onions and tomatoes along with the cheese; however, two small pieces of onion and two small tomatoes dressed the burger. We used our small ramekin of ketchup not only for our French fries but also to add moisture to the burger. No mayo, no mustard in sight. Fries tasted good but just lukewarm and not sizzling hot. Guess I shouldn't complain about airport food, yet with the upped prices, many eateries could do a little better in providing a better quality experience.

We were told that the grill was backed up and that's what had taken so long. The restaurant was very busy and people were standing around everywhere waiting on a table. The service was a little slow in regards to refilling drinks and checking up on us, but that is probably due to the holiday. The food was good, hot and the quantities were big for the price.
