Drinks were okay, not too strong - there was no food available (afterwards outside - street food). Be mindful of your surroundings and onlookers in the parking area. We entered with a $15 cover (cash accepted) just in time for class to start. The teacher made the class fun and taught the basics with ease. I liked how he gave everyone some extra moves to practice out on the floor in both salsa and bachata. The dance space was kind of small compared to what I've seen but people moved on and off the floor so much that it didn't get crowded. I also enjoyed how they had plenty of seating. I'm not sure what's up with ATL and charging crazy prices for bottled water... or maybe Nashville spoils us. Anywho, bottled water is $3. Per necessity, the DJ was a vibe I enjoyed how he played some classics, some new school and old school. My only wish was that he would mix up the genres instead of playing 4 salsa then 4 bachata, the 4 merengue... so on and so forth. Lastly to top it all off, there was a local taco shop selling tacos outside. After 4 hours of dancing they delivered! All in all, I will definitely don on my salsa shoes and visit Sanctuary Nightclub again!

We start out as the only people here. Place an order. The receipt comes to the table before the food. Hmm. That's different. We wait, for what we thought would be the food. Not the case. The waitress comes back to ask if we're ready to pay. I know you lying! Never have I ever patronized a prepay restaurant/lounge. I'm truly dumbfounded. How does one pay a tab before the food comes. But don't worry, tip wasn't a concern because you better believe they charge a 20% gratuity to EVERY party. "A 20% tip for walking to the table. No food, no water. Nothing but the bill." Zero lies told. Service was very reflective of the fact that the tab was paid before our food arrived. Rasta Pasta is what I wanted to order. Unfortunately this traditionally vegan dish has dairy in the spicy jerk Alfredo sauce. I ordered the 3 side options: rice, French fries and green beans. The food came out in to go containers. Can't lie, my food was tasty! Had no clue what the rice would be because there wasn't a description. Rice was definitely my favorite. Cooked to perfection and the seasonings were delightful. Because of the consistency, the rice was directly on aluminum foil inside of the container. Green beans were fresh and seasoned really well. Most people don't give much attention to sides, but the chef did an amazing job! Fries were good too! Love ordered Josephine Sliders with fried salmon. Came with fries and he said his food was really good. A slight hesitation ordering salmon, but was glad he did. As the night went on, there were a few times where the DJ got some mixes in. Majority of the time she was playing back to back songs. Either way, I'm a fan because there selection of music was on point. Super chill vibe. Hookah is available if you like. Overall: DJ was great. Food was fantastic. Customer Service is severely lacking and very so reflected the fact that we had to prepay. Love's final statement: "We can come pick up food, but ain't staying in here." Lol.

The vibe is fun once things get going, but be prepared to wait. Live music started over an hour late, and there's not much standing room, so I'd recommend reserving a table. Now, onto the food. I ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos (three to a plate), which were supposed to be fried shrimp topped with Asian slaw and boom boom sauce. What I got instead? Iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese, and a light drizzle of sauce. Not what was described or expected, or worth $20. Only bottled water available - small bottles for $5+. I declined. The price point overall didn't make much sense throughout the entire menu. To top it off, my friend ordered a Moscato and was given the wrong wine - Chardonnay, if I remember correctly. The waitress initially pushed back, but as the wine aficionado of the group, I could confidently say it wasn't Moscato. She eventually took it back to the bar, apologized, and swapped it. Would we go back? Yes--for the drinks and live music, once the night hits its stride. But for food? Not so much.

They have an indoor and outdoor area on Sundays and the music is always good. People are friendly and it's a vibrant atmosphere. The only reason I wouldn't give this place five stars is because the food is just OK. I ordered the shrimp pasta and it had what tasted like almost no seasoning. Everything was cooked nicely. The shrimp was cooked nicely and the pasta was as well but it just needed some salt and I was disappointed because they gave me plastic cutleries and I was looking to see if they had the little salt and black pepper packet in it and it didn't so I couldn't even add any salt on top to make it a little bit more flavorful. I still definitely love this place though for the drinks and just a good time. I absolutely recommend this place because it is a lot of fun.

The people who run the place and those they hire to work here is what has made it last. You can have goods and services provided to you anywhere but if you don't feel welcomed and taken care of, what the business offers is irrelevant. The food is good. The hookah is good. The drinks are good. And the prices are reasonable! Always have been. Which is to be appreciated in Atlanta. The atmosphere is great and shifts depending on when you come. As a two sided lounge (day time & night life) you can get the best of both worlds at one place. The day time side allows people to come for anything from a calm place to do some work, have a business meeting, bring a date, etc. the night time side gives you an intimate party experience with talented DJs and no commotion. A person checks your ID at the door and you are free to sit anywhere. FREE PARKING, Large open lot shared with Penthouse and some other restaurant right off Buford Highway NO COVER CHARGE I ordered the crab stuffed tilapia, flavor was awesome and great portion but where was the crab stuffing? All I tasted and saw was the tilapia. Service wasn't bad. Either my waitress was tired or just didn't have a bubbly personality. I waited a bit and when no one approached me, I had to make strong eye contact like I am ready to order then she came to me and said "what will you have?" No introduction or welcome greeting. Not rude but not welcoming either if that makes sense. I sat at the bar in the available seat but it's right by the kitchen door and my back was to the main area. I ordered water with ice, was brought a 500mL Fiji water bottle and a styrofoam cup of ice. I am surprised they don't serve liquor. Everything is served in to go containers with plastic ware. 20% gratuity is automatically added, yes even for party of one. Music was good. Loud, like "come close so I can talk in your ear" loud but not "let me find my ear plugs" loud. They played Lil' Baby (think Freestyle and We Paid), Hunxho, Big Boogie, some of those popular TikTok songs, and then the DJ switched it up with some Shawty Lo and Young Dolph. When you first walk in you're surrounded by sections and I think one or two high tables in the center, then if you keep going the bar is on the left and a few more tables in the back. But those tables in the back kind of seems deserted and if the place is empty you could possibly be overlooked. I thought about sitting there but I felt like no one would come to serve me. If you're still in the club mood, craving some hearty food on the late night, and don't want Waffle House I would suggest coming here.

I found the best food for after hours, i have no complaints. this is definitely my go to spot!read more
